This is a lovely, delicate tea. The flavor is very mild. I am not much for a really strong tea and this is just right. I do mix it with green teas if I want a little more body to it. Highly recommeded.
To my unrefined palate, this tastes the same as Silver Needle- light, smooth, and delicious- without costing a small fortune.

Like other reviewers have said, this is a fabulous (cheaper) substitute for Silver Needle. Of course, it's not Silver Needle, but for the price, it's close enough.

This was my very first white tea and it wasn't at all what I was expecting. When I opened the tin it smelled like spinach, or green vegetables. It didn't taste as strong as it smelled, and it was actually very smooth. I added a touch of honey and it tasted lovely. My only disappointment was that it wasn't as floral tasting as I thought it would be.
The is a lovely mild white tea, not bitter, no taste of smoke or fermentation. I use it to mix with fruit blends in order to get the antioxidants of real tea w/o an overpowering taste.
I have tried doing three different infusions and it gets better and better. It is the sauvignon blanc of tea. You will probably taste hints of white wine and berry and depending on the infusion, possibly even a little lemongrass
It is a good white tea, but I wish it had a bit more flavor. Sometimes I mix in herbal tea for more interest.

Pretty good. Be sure to let the water cool and not to overbrew. If it's too hot it gets a soapy taste to it.
Overall pretty satisfied with it, though not enough to get it again. Be sure to use a teaspoon extra, if that's how you measure it, to make up for the volume of the leaves.

The first white tea I've ever had, delicious. It has a very delicate taste so it's best to drink it by itself. I also think making it at 160-170 degrees worked better than 180. A great tea either way.

I found this tea to be very light and good to mix with other green teas.
Smooth, the taste can be compared to cream with green vegetables, and I mean that in the best way possible. A cheap alternative to Silver Needle, but when it comes to price and quality, I would say that White Peony is the better deal. Would definitely buy more in the near future.
just what you want from white tea--light and clean taste. great with fruit for a midday snack, or just by itself before bed.

I would say silver needle is a little nicer, but this is very good too.
