I am by no means a tea expert but I prefer to use this one to mix with herbal teas.
White tea from Fujian, China. White Peony, also known as Pai Mu Tan, is a sweet, mild tea made from unopened tea buds, as well as the two newest leaves to sprout. Warm and floral like fruit blossoms. Golden liquor, succulent floral-fruit flavor.

I was searching for some more floral teas like chrysanthemum or rose and I came across this white peony. I'm so glad I gave it a try! I was afraid the peony might be too strong but it's really perfect, very light and fresh. It also smells incredible. I can imagine drinking a lot of this in the Winter while I'm pining for Spring!
Wonderful crisp floral taste. Light but still full of flavor. This tea can get overwhelmed if you add too much sweetener; try it alone.
decent white tea, not my favorite but it still tastes great when steeped at the perfect temprature
Not as enjoyable as Silver Needle. The liquor is more golden than SN, also. Has a more pronounced flavor, too much for my tastes. I like my white tea to be more delicate. Not bad, but I'll probably stick to Silver Needle.
This was my fist foray into white tea--I don't think it's for me.
I don't think I have a flavor to compare this tea to -- it tastes... sophisticated. I like it, I recommend it, I just don't know exactly how to describe it. Not terribly helpful as far as reviews go, but picking up a sample to explore it for yourself is two bucks well spent.
This tea has a very mild taste. It is very delicious!
Pretty boring, but then again, I am not a huge fan of white tea in general.
Very delicious. Has a nice refreshing flavor. I recommend!
great earthy flavor, compared to most white teas. more complex than the snowbud
Just tasted like the average white tea. It wasn't too special but it wasn't bad. The only problem I found was that it just wasn't giving the flavor I wanted from a white tea.
I love this tea. It's gentle yet still has a full flavor to it, and it's soothing and relaxing any time of the day. It tastes great alone or with some lavender mixed in. Highly recommended!
I really like this tea. It has a nice light flavor.
This is a great white tea for the price. I like the silver needle better, but for the price this one is great.
Very nice mild flavored white. Very good everyday white tea.
im liking this one when i first opened it to smell (as i bet evryone on this website does) it wasnt appealing but after brewing it and tasting it i really enjoy it not really to strong has a nice subtle flavor (as white tea does ) but i like it
Outstanding White Peony. Sweet and mellow but with enough bite to distinguish itself from other white teas here.
Great basic white tea. I love the nutty undertones- this tea is absolutely awesome with scones, cookies, and other baked goods! I don't sweeten it.. I honestly think the tea's taste is a little too delicate for any extra flavoring. :)
I really love White tea and have been drinking it over green tea ever since I discovered it's smooth taste. This white peony tea just isn't has flavorful as I had hoped - It really isn't that tasty at all. Just sort of bland.
They should rename to White GetInMe. This is my after lunch special. Light and refreshing. Can get bitter from over steeping, but when the timing is right you've got yourself a tasty treat. ¡Cinco estrellas mis amigos!
Mild, and a nice evening tea when herbal just isn't what you're looking for.
The white peony was very nice. It is a light tea and quite subtle.
This white tea is very smooth and light in flavor, just the kind I like. I enjoy drinking this tea any time of the day.
White Peony is my second choice with the Symphony winning out. There is no particular reason for this other than personal choice. Both are similar (I find most whites hard to compare) and both are a great evening cup.
i like it. pretty light. im not an expert on white teas but this is a nice, light flavor one
I enjoyed the tea but had hoped it would be more floral.
Nice and light, like green tea without the "grass" flavor. In comparison to other white teas, though, White Peony is not quite as delicate or sweet as the more expensive varieties.
Great tea! One of my favorites. This time I ordered a larger pack to have it available at home and at my office.
This has to be my favorite tea so far. Very light flavor, but just soooooo good!
This is a good anytime, anyday tea. I drink this with everything.
The aroma wasn't quite what I was expecting, and the flavor is incredibly subtle. It is pleasant enough with a little bit of sweetness added, but not amazing.
A very nice light tea that is actually worth the price. Be careful about steeping too long!
Very mild taste. Nice sampler to get started to see if you like it.
This tea is pretty tasty for a white tea. It's light and easy to drink. However, it has the same problem I often encounter with white tea: not a strong enough taste! Maybe I just need to use more tea per cup.
My first white tea and I wasn't sorry. Great for anytime of the day. The light flavor goes well with most food.
Good tea. Very nice and a little fuller bodied than most teas I'd tried. This was my first tea besides the Taurus blend that was a white tea. I enjoyed it very much and it is a great afternoon, relaxed tea. Very enjoyable.
A very nice white tea, a light taste but just right.
A great alternative to silver needle when the budget is tight. I'm able to steep it twice without a significant degredation in flavor. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys silver needle but can't afford to drink it every day.
This is my first venture into white teas, and this was excellenet. I'm anxious to try this against other white tea offerings.
A fair white tea. Tastes very similar to White Symphony to me. Maybe a bit more pronounced and not quite as delicate.
very nice mild tea. Usually I like stronger tea, and would add a touch of gunpowder for 'bite'
This tea is more flowery and delicate than I expected. It's a nice alternative to green teas.
Very good tea, light and fresh. I'm definetly buying it again.
Great tea but pretty procey for what you get. I would get again.
My favorite white tea so far, delicious, cheap and a very complex yet appealing flavor. Highly recommened.
A very nice light tea for the morning or early afternoon.
Very mild tea. Almost too mild. It's best not to couple with food unless you just want something warm to drink. It doesn't taste bad, but don't skimp on the amount that you include per cup.
This white tea has the cucumbery flavor and smoothness you'd expect of a white tea, but not the underlying sweetness of, say, the white symphony. A good cheaper alternative to the more expensive white teas for daily enjoyment.
This is a nice delicate white tea. I like to mix it with balck blueberry for a great treat.
