I just tried this today, and I have to say, I enjoyed it. I'm used to a more potent kind of white tea (the ones packed in tea bags from the store - can't recall the brand though) so it seemed surprisingly light to me. It's still refreshing to drink in a more calm kind of way.

I guess I am still getting used to white tea flavours, which seem to be a bit more subtle. this is a good tea, just wish it was a little stronger.

This tea is subtle, clean, and sweet. It also tastes a bit like a green tea to me.

Nice and light. Nothing very stand-out about this tea, but it's comforting.
★★★★★
crisp, light and refreshing. this tea is enjoyable anytime hot and even iced if the light flavour is enough for you
★★★★★
I love the smooth taste of this tea. It is a very light tea that goes well with a book on the couch or sitting outside on the deck, relaxing. It has a sweet taste that is never bitter and remains smooth to the last drop.

One of my favorite white teas of all time (and one I use in several of my blends .p). This is delicate and fragrant, like smelling a garden of soft white flours, making it have one of the best noses of any tea you can imagine. Brewed carefully, it is a wonderful balance of floral tang and softness and smooth white tea. Exquisite, though not as refined or as as white symphony--and I like it that way. I'd suggest purchasing both in tandem to compare. The price is certainly right!

I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought this would have more body to it but it doesn't disappoint. if you want just a plain high quality white tea this is it. Not too astringent or bitter, it doesn't have that spinachy after taste like its lower quality counterparts.

Love the gentle taste of this tea. Will try other white teas in the future.
★★☆☆☆
Plain, light, and uninteresting. Slightly fruity aftertaste. Almost like drinking warm water.
★★★★☆
Very light tea not much different than a Chinese green tea, it would be more cost effective to get a light green tea.
★★★★☆
It tastes nice, though its my first experience with unflavored white tea.

The aroma of the white peony tea when you open the container is like a fresh bale of hay, I love it. It tastes very light, a tad sweet, very plush, and smooth yet satisfying finish that is not grassy at all. I do not taste the 'floral-fruit' flavor that the main description speaks of.

Bright flavor with calming subtle fruity tones of sweetness.

White teas are not my favorite or my forte...however, this tea is silky smooth and doesn't seem to burn as easily as other white teas have for me. I especially enjoy it mixed with a dash of mint. :)

very enjoyable cup of tea. nice and mellow. such a great flavor. works hot and iced. It also tastes very good with a little bit of wildflower honey.
★★★★★
Delicious! A wonderful introduction to white tea. It's flavorful, but not tangy or sharp. I enjoyed it without any cream or sweetener. Very nice.

Oh. My. Gosh. This. Tea. Was. DIVINE.
I had the white tea sampler and it was good, but this one. Oohhhh SO GOOD. I love this tea as much as Snowbud. I feel like this tea is the mother of Snowbud and Snowbud is the wee little delicate daughter. White Peony was still very light, but also very bright and joyful and very very tasty.
I just really like this tea okay.
★★★★★
Subtle, delicate, and slightly sweet. This is everything a nice white tea should be.

I usually don't go crazy for white teas (mind you, I've yet to taste a really premium one like Silver Needle). I adore white peony, though. It's got a sweet floral flavor. I generally prefer black tea, and sometimes blend it for a darker cup, and the flavor comes through. It's wonderful on its own, though. You do have to use twice as much, but it's worth it.

Lightly sweet and floral, with a little bit of a green hay scent and flavor. Something a bit like warm, fresh-baked bread, too, though faintly so. A very tasty white tea, though still not as great as Silver Needle tea in general.
★★★★☆
very good White tea. I tried this iced. It had a nice light floral flavor with a strong hay like flavor. Good for the price.

This was my first unflavored white tea. It did not disappoint. I love it's lightness and bright flavor.

a lovely, floral white tea. I received it as a free sample but I definitely want to buy more!
★★★★☆
Similar to white symphony but not as sweet. I like it. mellow sweet flavor. I like white symphony better though.
★★★★☆
Much more flavor than any other white tea I have tried. Closest flavor that comes to mind are some of the nice Chinese black teas, like Golden Monkey.
Disappointingly, my sample was a little under 5g. The label claimed 9g. Eh.
★★★★☆
While I like this tea, it has more of a green tea flavor without much of a floral taste. Perhaps I am just not familiar enough with peonies but to me, it was like a nice cup of green tea. :)
★★★★☆
Nice white tea. It is very mild. Be sure to brew at the proper temperature!
★★★★★
This is the most satisfying white tea I've ever tried. I don't register floral notes exactly, just a delicious tea as flavorful as black but somehow... new. I wish I could describe it more effectively, but I returned to tasting it all afternoon today, and it didn't remind me of *anything* exactly. I just liked it and liked and liked it.
The leaves are very pretty, as well!
★★★★★
I'm drinking this right now, and all I can say is that it's one of my favorites ever. Currently mourning the fact that the sample only makes 5 cups.

This tea smells lovely and had a nice flavor, but it was very weak.
★★★★★
Delicate and floral, just like a fine white tea should be!
★★★★★
This is actually a nice tea. It's light, but not so light that you can't taste it.
★★★★★
A bit more flavorful than I thought white teas tend to run. It's rather addictive! Reminiscent of a green tea with a brighter, cleaner flavor. Floral tones and lacks any kind of bitterness. (Wouldn't call it sweet, just completely non-bitter).
★★★★☆
Bold for a white tea, with a clean, smooth mouthfeel. Makes a beautiful golden liquor with subtle floral and grassy tones.

My favorite white tea - I prefer this over Silver Needle. I will be buying more of this for sure.

I prefer my teas to be a little stronger than this. I have to use more than the recommended amount to get taste. But not that bad.

A light, mild tea perfect for warmer weather. It also works well for iced tea!

Maybe not as good as the Silver Needle, but the tea itself is quite enjoyable!

This is def a tea that is a more subtle than most teas you are use to drinking but i would still say this is a real good tea. One you could drink daily and not grow to tired of. I was unsure about buying this tea but i gave it a chance and was proud I did.

I enjoy the delicate flavor of this tea, but my husband finds it a bit weak. I steep it far less than the instructions say.

So far I will have to say this is the first Adagio that disappointed me. It got excellent reviews, but I found it stale and a bit like straw. Very unpleasant. Had expected a delicate white tea.
★★★★★
This tea is a great white tea. It has just enough flavor to count, and the flavor is neither bitter nor sweet. It just... is :-)
★★★★☆
A subtle tea that is very pleasant to drink. Love to drink it when I get home from work.
★★★★☆
A delicate and lightly sweet tea, not quiet as good as the white symphony but still a pretty good tea
★★★★★
This tea was quite good. I prefer to drink white tea in the afternoon because of the lower caffeine.
★★★★★
White Peony is most beautiful white tea I've ever had.
Normally I choose oolongs when I want a rich floral tasting experience, but this white tea surpasses them all. A fruity golden raisin taste only enhances the taste. I drink it at any time of day (no caffeine!) and it can be re-steeped up to 3 times.

This is a really complex tea. It has a surprisingly malty flavour with a lovely sweet floral aftertaste. Unfortunately it is not very forgiving. The first time I underbrewed, and the next time I overbrewed and lost the entire aftertaste. Seems like you can get a lot of return out of this tea if you put some effort into brewing it just right though.

This is my go-to mixing tea. It has such a subtle, sweet flavor that it blends well with so many things! I have yet to try it on its own but when I do, I will come back and update my review accordingly.
