It's a rather light tea. I liked it, but I prefer more 'robust' flavors.
White tea from Fujian, China. White Peony, also known as Pai Mu Tan, is a sweet, mild tea made from unopened tea buds, as well as the two newest leaves to sprout. Warm and floral like fruit blossoms. Golden liquor, succulent floral-fruit flavor.

It's a rather light tea. I liked it, but I prefer more 'robust' flavors.
This tea didn't work out so well for me. It's nice enough, but the flavor it a little too light for me to pick up on.
Definitely make sure you use this with open infusion. The first time I tried it, I used an infuser ball and it didn't work AT ALL.
My go-to white tea. The price and the flavor can't be beat...I just find higher grade white teas too light for my liking.
This tea is a bit on the grassy side for me. Next time I think I'll add some lemon juice to it, as I feel it would pair well with some citrus.
This tea was ok. It was a little to light for flavor for me but I only steeped it for 4 minutes.
I enjoyed this tea it reminded me of a green tea that was milder.I will drink it with a flavorful dinner because the white Peony will not overpower your dinner.Would be good with a nice sweet dessert.
Received as a free sample, its ok but a little flowery
Love the peony white... use it in almost every white signature blend!
Best White Peony I have had in a long time!! Perfect, delicate, balanced flavor!!
Like the other white teas I've tasted from Adagio, this has a distinct slightly salty/savory flavor (not as heavy as the White Cucumber one). This one is a lot more floral, not quite lavender, but something like it. Not particularly a favorite of mine.
A light tea with a very faint floral taste. It's good but not great in my opinion, but I am more used to dark teas.
I love jasmine and summer rose flavors, and I like it in blends, but it's just like drinking a strong, strong flower and it turns out that's not my thing.
Delicate flavor. The low caffeine means I'll be drinking way too many cups of white peony each day!
So light and floral. This tea has a nice balance of soft notes with a strong finish much like the initial sip of an oolong. I like that this tea provides a light yet bold experience for my palate.
This tea is very pleasant, and very light, as you'd probably expect from an unflavored white tea. There's a nice aftertaste that makes your mouth feel...clean? I don't know how to describe it, but it is nice. The smell is relaxing, and it's a good one to wind down your mind with
It's a good white tea at a far more affordable price than silver needle.
This is a more mild tea but in the world of white teas, probably one of the stronger ones. I enjoyed this tea, but I felt it was just missing a little something. I don't know if that is just me who enjoys stronger teas or if the tea itself wasn't on the mark. Either or, I strongly recommend trying this or using this as a stepping stone from strong teas to white teas.
Very delicate flavor. Nice to drink on a cold, snowy night.
Got as a sample and I love my white teas so this one was no different.
I really love white tea so this was a wonderful addition to my collection of samples. It is light and flowery, and perfect to pair with a light lunch.
White Peony tastes a lot like a lighter and less 'green' snowbud, so overall it's pretty damn good.
Being the cheapest version of unflavored white tea I didn't expect this to taste as good as it did. Now I'm even more anxious to try the Silver Needle!
I love this smooth white tea with its slightly sweet flavor. - my favorite
Too flowery for my tastes. I think I'll stick to white pear.
This was a nice, floral, flavorful white tea perfect for someone who wants an inroduction to white teas. I really liked it. It's a bit more bold than a silver needle.
A cheaper, but still great, substitute for silver needle.
I absolutely love this tea. In the bag, it has a sweet, succulent smell. It brews to a peach color, and has a very light floral flavor. It has a subtler taste than black or green tea, as you would expect, but it isn't at all bland or weak.
A delicious white tea with plenty of flavor! A great first white tea for anyone looking to get into white teas.
I got the white peony as a sample in one of my orders. It steeped up well at 2 minutes, with a nice taste. However, I'm not a big fan of the straight peony teas, so I'll probably pass on this one next time. Thank you , Adagio Team, for the chance to try this tea!
very very mild cup tea. I did like it mixed with something like blood orange but, alone its a little week.
A soft, floral white tea. No flavoring, but 'plain' doesn't mean flavorless. Good hot on a grey evening or iced for a summer treat.
This tea is yummy and warm. The floral scent is also something amazing. You can't go wrong with this one.
This is a really good white tea. It is has a very nice taste and so far it is my plain white tea that I've had.
This tea was, for me, the definition of 'in the middle'. It wasn't really good, but it wasn't even really bad. Just...the equivalent of drinking a plain white tea. If that's your thing, then it'll be great for you. I'm going to mix the remainder of the sample with some of my herbal samples, to see if that does anything special for me.
I recieved a sample of this tea with my last order and I was very shocked at the amazing taste. I do enjoy white teas but many of them can be bland, this one surprised me with a nice deep herbaceous floral note that was very complimentary to the white tea.
This is the best everyday tea on the planet, I drink this tea daily for it's wonderful finish, buttery taste and never bitter aftertaste. If you love a smooth, naturally butter sweet tea, this is the best of them all. Wish I new the grower personally. .-)
very nice tea, nice subtle flavor, just make sure you don't over steep, i did the second time making it by accident and it was awful.
This was just okay. I tend to like stronger teas, and this one had a very very light flavor. Next time I'll probably mix this with something that has a little more body to it.
this is one of the best teas I've had from adagio. It has such a warming and clean taste to it. Its flavor is very complex and subtle. but not so much so that you cannot enjoy it.
Really good white tea. Brewed in a gaiwan, it was incredible.
Easily one of the best teas I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The flavor is subtle yet satisfying. It has a warm and pleasant presence and is perfect for drinking at any point in the day.
The peony has a light but wonderful flavor. The color of the tea is beautiful and a great afternoon tea to mellow through the day.
I like this tea because it's not as weak as other whites. Nice floral notes.
Lovely floral tea that is not overly strong, it also pairs well with white peach.
great tea, light and delicate, well balanced. the peony compliments the white tea very well, a new regular tea!
Love at first sip. Delicate, fragrant, and with a poetic infusion process.
Instant Favorite.
Mild. Very mild is this tea. However, this is its strength rather than weakness (ahem, pardon...). It allows one to fully embrace 'white peony''s meditative nature while getting acquainted with the world of white teas.
Exactly as the description claimed. Very refreshing and sweet flavor with a clean finish. Will definitely order again.
A very good delicate white tea. Something good if I want to relax, but I don't want anything too sweet.
I'm not really a fan of this white peony, it has a mild tang to it, I don't taste much of a stone fruit note.
