Very light and smooth flavor. I can drink it all day long chilled. Makes a great hot tea when used with Asian food. Low in caffeine too.
White tea from Fujian, China. White Peony, also known as Pai Mu Tan, is a sweet, mild tea made from unopened tea buds, as well as the two newest leaves to sprout. Warm and floral like fruit blossoms. Golden liquor, succulent floral-fruit flavor.

One of my favourite white teas so far. A lot of different notes that hit over time, a very 'full' flavour but not intense or overwhelming in any particular way. A good tea for any mood / craving, you know?
Loved it. Such a beautiful flavor, so relaxing and naturally sweet. This is my first white peony and has turned me into a lover!
This was my first white tea so I don't have anything to compare it to. It did ,however, taste good and I enjoyed what I had.
Very buttery mouthfeel, slightly floral with a hint of honey. Smooth and well balanced.
Delicate fine aroma. Light flavor. I agree with other reviewer does not look anything like picture.
White Peony is by far my favorite tea. It's so light and refreshing so I always have a pitcher in my fridge for ice tea.
Great tea for the price goes well with almost everything
This is a very nice tea. It has a light sweet flavor. It is a great both hot and iced.
As someone who enjoys floral teas, this one is a light and refreshing white tea I could enjoy anytime.
I much prefer this over White Symphony-sweet and floral and no odd aftertaste.
A nice mild white tea. Very good. Adding honey brings out the flavors.
I really enjoy white peony, I normally buy it from my local import store. However, I like adagio's product a little better. The flavor is sweet and delicate. A good tea
A little sweet and very delicate. Good for the price point.
Good soft floral tea. I have also mixed this tea with both white needles tea and jasmine and they compliment the flavor well.
Been a while since I had this, but if memory serves it has a bit stronger flavor compared to the other non-fruit-infused offerings. Though this flavor fell more on the organic green earthy side. Not bad, though as the flavor profile went I think I preferred the other white tea offerings.
I really can't taste much with this tea. I would recommend the silver needle over this tea.
Another one of my go to white teas, just enough flavoring to make this light white tea rounded.
Nice light flavor, very refreshing and works great iced!
This tea tastes amazing! Its floral scent and taste are gentle and comforting.
Eh, not the tea for me. Admittedly, I m not a big fan of white teas to begin with, but when I tried brewing this, it came out to little more than colored water. Shame, really--I really wanted to like this a lot.
This was a great first white tea, but I was disappointed in how broken up the leaves appeared.
Simple and delicious. I love mixing White Peony with Green Tea!
Refreshing to sip any time of day for a pick me up
As I've been trying more tea types, I have been drawn to the soft, floral flavors. This tea hits everything I wanted from a white tea. The white tea flavor isn't overwhelmed, but the peony flavor definitely accents the tea. It makes a delicate and warm cup of floral tasting tea and I love it. I definitely will add this to my favorites list and look forward to blending it with other white teas as well as some of the floral additions like rose hips and hibiscus.
Very light, very soft cup of tea. A nice mix of white tea with a hint of green tea leaves make the flavor mellow and soothing, very clean and cleansing.
I think I read another reviewer had this problem as well. The leaves in the picture did NOT match up what was in the bag. I am going to try it again after adding in some of my fujian silver needle.
This tea is so delicate, a beautiful white tea. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys subtle flavors of a straight tea. Delicious with just a tiny bit of honey.
I love the jasmine teas and I suppose I was expecting this tea to be somewhat like jasmine, but it ended up not having much of a flavor. I passed it on.
Mellow in a kind of flavorless way, but not unpleasant. I might just not be able to appreciate how delicate white teas are?
It had a very faint flavor to me, and I was looking for something stronger. The taste is nice and floral, which was what I was looking for. I found it combines great with some spare chrysanthemum tea I had on hand, which gave it the more power I was looking for. Overall, it is a light, dainty tea that doesn't overwhelm anything.
This tea was not as floral as I expected it to be. The aroma wasn't what I expected. It is a little bland for me.
Very good. A nice, mild, affordable white tea. I will reorder.
Update - I've been drinking this tea for the last few years as my go-to tea. But the last couple of orders the tea has been in smaller pieces and the flavor not as good.
A mild white tea with a fruity and somewhat floral flavor, but overall very mellow and smooth. I taste the melon sweetness. This would be great mixed with some flavored herbal tisanes, too.
I believe this is either sub-par Bai Mu Dan or it is Cui Mei white tea. The delivered product looks nothing like the picture, with cut up green and brown leaves with some small silver needles sparsely mixed in.
Light, floral--everything you expect of a white tea. I got this for the folks in my house who love white tea, and they love this. I'm neither here nor there on white tea in general, but this is good.
This White Peony tea smells good and tastes better! Not too overpowering and is light!
Light, mild flavor still good nun the less. I'm used to drinking bold black tea my self.
Very nice light taste. I am loving all the white teas. But this one is perfect.
Wow. I was curious about white teas and thought I’d try this. Wasn’t expecting this much from it though. The description is correct when it says “fruit-floral flavor with rounded mouth feel.” I definitely feel that and it’s took me by surprise with how much I like it. Will be buying more.
Smooth, lovely with delicate and peaceful notes. A gentle way to relax.
Horrid. Aftertaste.
This is a very subtle tea. I love it! I'm usually a black tea drinker but this is nice.
Mellow, mild, and has a hint of sweetness. Very good if you like light teas.
Taste is great. It’s doesnt look like this when you get it. Looks more dried and and in small pieces.
A very delicate, smooth and floral tasting tea, it's not very sweet and has little astringency, at least until you hit the very bottom.
This is the first white tea I've ever had. I was surprised how fruity it was. It has a little herbal quality to it too, and it has baking spices notes. Very nice! The tea does not come as whole leaves as pictured, but it still comes out great.
This tea is what I've come to expect from white teas. It's subtle and slightly floral. I did have to add a little bit of sugar to it, but I'm not sure how much of that is my natural sweet tooth or if I just really need to get a thermometer (or splurge on a kettle) and not just hope for the best when I'm heating my water. Either way, I think this would be a good choice to introduce someone to white teas with.
It's a good tea but I am not picking up on the floral at all. It's not going to be my go to on a daily basis.
It is a good light tea but nothing stood out to me
