I enjoy this tea very much, but it wasn't what I was expecting. White teas always sound like they're going to be incredibly clean and fresh, but I think that's a false expectation on my part. This one smells of baked (not fresh) pears and spicy autumn leaves!
This is one of my favorite teas I have tried from Adagio. It has the most wonderful smell, though I have noticed that each batch seems to smell different from the others. The most recent batch has an almost spicy scent to it. However, the flavor is still the same, crisp pear flavor with a hint of apples and the light fresh green tea. I don't think I can tire of this tea.
I don't usually venture into white teas, but I love pear and I thought I would give it a shot. I usually brew this one especially long, but even still, the pear is difficult to distinguish.

I love this tea. The pear taste is really nice.never bitter when I brew it, I just toss an ice cube in my infuser.

The smell is amazing! After brewing it's very subtle and delicate. I think I'm going to steep it longer for more robust flavors.
My tea was very twiggy so I'll use a small teapot instead of a small infuser next time. That may also help with getting a less subtle flavor.
I enjoyed it and think it's great for after dinner in the warmer months when you really don't want anything heavy.
Very delicate flavor, but the pear still manages to come through pretty strongly. I like this hot and iced, but I think I could only drink it during the summer months as the flavor is so delicate.
A pretty good tea, there is something a bit less appealing than the other fruity white teas, but it was absolutely worth the buy.
I don't know if it was just my sample, but this was awfully twiggy and didn't have much flavor. White teas aren't really my thing anyway, and this didn't raise my opinion that much.
I received this tea as a free sample. It smelled so wonderful in the bag--light, fresh, truly like a ripe pear. But after brewing, there was a slight chemical, artificial taste--almost a little sickly. It wasn't unpalatable, but not as authentically fruity as other teas I've purchased here.

I really wanted to like this tea, but something just didn't work for me. I think it was because the pear aroma and flavor tasted more like a candy or artificial flavoring than pear, and considering pear is my favorite fruit I might be just really picky.
I did not particularly like this tea. Very mild, almost to the point of no flavor. A faint pear scent.

To be fair, I wasn't sure what pear flavoring was going to taste like, let alone pear flavored tea. It tastes...not perfectly like pears, because the taste of pears is as much about the juice, sweetness, and texture. But it definitely tastes like something pear-flavored. I like it and I'm willing to bet that iced and with some honey it will be a summer staple.
Mellow, soft flavors. This is my go-to night time tea. Usually I take some sugar with my flavored teas to soften them up a little but I love this one the way it is. I usually steep it a little on the longer side because I like a stronger pear flavor.
Wonderful tea. I love the lightness of the white tea with the subtle hint of sweet juicy pear. It starts off with the fruity notes then slowly fades to a gentle white tea finish. Bliss.

I was hoping for a sweeter, more delicate pear flavor. The pear flavor is a big too bitter and strong for my liking.
I ordered this b/c I like pears and thought the discription sounded good. This is probably the worst tea I have ever had.
This is not my favorite. The pear tastes a little floral and doesn't hide the earthiness of the white tea. I have tried it with milk and sugar and still am just not a fan. For those who enjoy the taste of a white tea, then they may enjoy this.
This just didn't do it for me. The pear taste was odd and off. Meh. I'll give it another try later.
Wow, the smell right out of the package is intoxicating and completely pear! When brewed hot, it's a delicate, naturally sweet tea without that tart, over-sweetened quality of some fruit teas I've had. I can't wait to try this iced. This will be one of my go-tos when summer hits. Delicious.
It's a mellow flavor and the pear is subtle but overall it's a good tea.
I couldn't taste the pear at all. It tastes alright as a white tea though.

It is ok, not great, not terrible just bland and lacking in any real flavour.
needs to be mixed with another tea, preferably a fruity taste - otherwise its fairly twiggy.
I've tried and enjoyed other varieties of white tea from Adagio. I don't know what it is about this one, whether the pear flavor is off, whether it's just not a good match for the tea, or whether my expectations are simply out of whack, but I don't particularly enjoy it. On the bright side, my sample sized bag should last quite a while.
The pear flavor is relatively subtle, but I think with a discerning tongue you can pick it out. Based on the few different white teas I've tried lately, I think I'm more of a green tea fan.
The pear flavor in this tastes a bit artificial to me, and with the herbaceous flavor of the white tea it's a slightly off flavor. Not terrible but a little strange.
This tea is very light. I am not big on white tea, but it was generally ok. Missing some flavor.
Not as good as the white peach, to me, but still very good. I don't single out the pear as much as just a fruity taste. Makes me think of the tropics.

They say it's got pear in there, but you wouldn't know otherwise. Very heavy on the apple. ctually, a heavy tea in general, for a white. The appley-ness gives it a more robust flavor than you'd expect, a great option for a hearty late afternoon/evening meal when you need that extra boost but don't want the caffeine. Overall: good tea, just not what I had hoped for.
Not my favorite, but if you love pear, you will love it.
A very nice white tea. This is great because the fruit flavor is delicate, which I prefer. But, it was difficult for me to taste the pear flavor/apple pieces without a longer steep time. A touch of honey brings them forward for me and makes this a very enjoyable cup.
Much more earthly than I expected, light though, just as a white tea should be. I think a little honey might due the trick to bring out the fruitier side.
I have not had white tea in years, but this was absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to try it iced.
I found it a little too fruity for my liking, but I would imagine anyone who likes a light, fruity tea would really enjoy this. :)
