I bought this tea for the scent, to mix with a few others. On its own it tastes a bit like medicine, which I really don't like, but it works wonderfully in a blend with green and herbal teas.

This tea is too fruity for me. It has great flavor, but reminds me too much of a peach ring candy.
A light and fresh tea. It smells like a fresh pear too. The pear flavor is even more noticeable with sweetener added.

This is something that I will enjoy drinking all of what I ordered. Not sure if I will order it again unless I find it blends well with something else. It was good, there were just others I like a lot more.
I love pear anything. With that said I had high expectations for this tea. It tasted very artificial and cloyingly sweet. White tea is so very delicate to begin with I wonder if it is even worth the trouble of trying to make a flavored blend.
Pears are my favourite fruit, so I was glad to try this one. Good iced.

I wanted to like it, it sounded good, but very unappealing. Woody, earthy, leafy, that is about the only way to describe it taste wise, reminded me of no teas I've had before, not a hint of pear...
Very sappy, woodsy, and floral, really far more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Not overwhelmingly sweet but better for it.
My mom loved this one. It is now one of her favorites.

It has a very strong smell and it's not a very good one either. I didn't taste the pear much even when I let it seep for a while. So, not my favorite.
I don't know how many of you have used Sculpey, but this tastes exactly like the chemical smell it puts off in your oven. I'm not sure how this one made it to sale.

If you want a light tea, then this might work for you. Didn't get a whole lot of pear flavour, but it's in there. The smell is quite lovely tho.

Makes a light green with a light smell of pear and taste actually perfect flavor pairing for the type of tea.
I got a sample of this because I love pears. The pear flavor was a bit more subtle than I would've liked, but it smells lovely and it was still very good. I'll probably order a bag so I can have it now and again.
Soothing, light and sweet, it serves as a nice way to relax after a long day. With a little sugar the fruit is intensified and brightens the tea further.
I like this tea, but I liked the peach flavoring better than pear.
I tried white pear in the Orchard Sampler (white) and was put off at first. However, after I got used to the taste, I found I liked it quite a bit to the point where it was one of only two non-sampler teas I purchased in my next order.
This is a very light refreshing tea. There is a hint of pear that gives the tea a slightly sweet but not too sweet taste.
I honestly wasn't expecting much from this tea. It smelled weird in the bag. But ibn the cup, it was lovely. The pear flavor came through subtly and didn't taste artificial. This might be my favorite flavored white tea.
Based on the good reviews and my undying love of pears I gave this tea a try. I was immediately put off by the smell, which was musty and funky. Some of the reviews mentioned a bad smell, but said the taste was wonderful. Sadly, mine tasted exactly as it smelled. Awful. I had to chuck it. I'm hoping this was just a fluke and my particular bag of tea had somehow gone bad because I still like the idea of this tea, but this bag is going in the bin.
Not very strong, even with long brew times. Not bad though. A little fruity, but it's kinda hard to find the pear. It's also kinda woody when it's iced. A little off putting, but drinkable. Not something I'll be purchasing again, though.
Wonderful pear aroma, not so much in the taste. Luckily, the white tea is excellent.
I think the added apple pieces just don't cut it here. I am not getting any pear flavor, it tastes more like apple with a slightly perfumed aftertaste. There is also an underlying savory herbal or maybe it's the essence of a newly mowed field of hay aroma going on, which is pleasant. So get rid of the 'natural pear flavoring', rename this apple fields and I think it would be better. A fairly smooth mouth feel with just a touch of a mineral bite lingering.
One of my new favorite teas. I like making a big pitcher of it, and keeping it in the fridge. It's refreshing, comforting, and a great drink to have throughout the day, especially when I'm working from home. The pear favor is subtle, but great, and is one of the more balanced senses of tea-fruit I've had. This will become my regular order and I can't say anything else more pleasing about this tea.
Very similar to White Peony, yet even more tender. You might even say this is the most sublime white tea I've had.
First off I will say that I absolutely do not like pears. One of the few fruits I will not eat. That being said, if you do like pears, I'm sure you're in for a treat.
The first tea I fell in love with was Revolution's White Pear tea, and I was hoping Adagio's would be good as well. But the pear and apple flavoring was far too overwhelming. It's a very fruity tea and lacks the subtlety of Revolution's. The leaves were also very brittle and difficult to fit into an infuser. Overall I was very disappointed.
Don't let the smell of this tea put you off -- it's slightly chemically and medicinal with a hint of pear. Not the greatest. However, when it steeps, it becomes a delicate, fruity, crisp cup that is very relaxing and enjoyable. The pear makes its presence known in a full-bodied way that doesn't overpower the natural lightness of the tea leaves. The leaves are fragile, so steep them quickly at a slightly lower temperature. It is complimented surprisingly well with chocolate nibbles on the side.
My favorite all-time relaxation tea. It has just enough pear flavor to complement but not overshadow the white tea flavor. I esp love that there is no artificial taste.
Smells like a candy store but a very light and refreshing taste. A great tea to help you feel like a child or bring out your inner child.

I love this tea so much. The pear is present, but subtle enough that it doesn't overpower the delicate flavor of the white tea . It adds just a touch of crisp, fruity sweetness that translates particularly well to iced tea.
I loved this tea, i mean really loved it. By it's self is really light and crisp and a perfect afternoon tea. What i tried made it even better, i did 50/50 with this one and white blueberry and it was really great.

This is the only tea I've ever been able to drink without a sweetener. It isn't sweet, but it isn't so bitter that it requires sugar.
Not a fan of the flavor. Pear did not take as well as apple or strawberry.
This tea is wonderfully fruity and light. The pear flavor is definitely more apparent once brewed, pearing .) nicely with the white tea to create a refreshing drink. Although a little dry, the flavor is good enough to ignore that. I think the only problem is how little there is in the sample due to how voluminous the white tea is.

I really love this tea. It's especially lovely blended with the white blueberry. They're both so subtle and create a beautiful harmony of flavors.
This tea sounded really good when I ordered a sample and I was sadly disappointed. It looked and smelled like a someone took a handful of leaves and twigs from their backyard and labeled it 'Tea.' It had a very unpleasant taste. I like that Adagio Teas has sample sizes, but I am sorry I had to pay $2 for it because it ended up it the trash.
