One of my favorite adagio teas! The lightness of the green tea really lets the grapefruit flavor pop.

This is a nice, subtly citrus-flavored white tea. The grapefruit aroma was amazing in my packet, but unfortunately I used too much agave in my first cup. It was good but not very citrusy. For my second 8-ounce steep, I started with no agave and found that I didn’t need any. I steeped at 185 degrees for 3 minutes.

Update: 8/2/22: Nothing changed from my previous review. This makes a very pleasant white tea. (180F for 3min)

6/28/21: Grapefruit is definitely not my citrus of choice. So when I saw this packet I was not looking forward to it, but I continued because this is part of the experience. This tea is very nice, much better than I thought it would be. It is a gentle, non-sour grapefruit flavor...maybe not grapefruit anymore but I enjoy it. The white tea and citrus flavor complement each other well.

The dry aroma knocked my socks off with a strong grapefruit aroma! A sweet and tangy infusion that is light and enjoyable. 212, added a little sweetener to my cup

Excellent blend. Ten out of ten would drink again.

This tea was okay, but I think I would have preferred the flavors to be a bit stronger - it was slightly too delicate for me. To be fair though, white teas don't tend to be my favorites.

★★★★★

Smells awesomely of grapefruit with a little orange. The white tea is light enough to let the grapefruit shine through like the beautiful citrus queen she is.

Juicy with full citrus flavor. It's bright and light. Perfect iced tea for the summer season. And it's a nice hot cup for chillier days, too.

My review of the Grapefruit Oolong included, '..the balance was off. I think this may have been better as a grapefruit white tea...' I was right. The White Grapefruit had better balance and was better than the Oolong variety. I like grapefruit in sodas (Fresca/San Pellegrino), but it's not as favorable in tea, so a little goes a long way--I think they did that right with this tea.

Not a strong grapefruit tea but still is enough to make a nice cup of tea.

Very mild tea with just the barest hint of citrus, no bitterness. I'd personally have liked a bit more fruit flavor in it, but I like strong grapefruit. Didn't add sweetener to it, but I don't think that would have changed the profile much.

White grapefruit is a delicious, juicy, light grapefruit flavored white tea. It has a fresh inviting aroma while sipping. It's like drinking summer in a cup! If you like white tea and grapefruit you will like this tea. White grapefruit is delicious in blends as well!

I brew a lot of my fruit flavor teas cold, and while this one was nice, the oolong grapefruit had a much more forward grapefruit flavor to it.

★★★★☆

I'm already a fan of white citrus teas, and this is a solid entry to that group. Compared to simple orange or lemon tea, the grapefruit brings out some of the more complex, less sunny attributes: sharp/bitter grapefruit peel; almost spicy, vegetal leaves; very fresh with a gentle sweetness. Recommend cold brewing this one to keep it mellow and delicate.

The AROMA just WOW! Everytime I open the bag I get hit with a blast of grapefruit mmm :) Delicious light tea with a heavenly scent of grapefruits

★★★★★

Very very fragrant in the bag but it loses most of the smell during the steep. I’d recommend steeping just a tough longer than recommended for a white tea so you rly get those bitter citrus notes. Could benefit from just a touch of sweetener but doesn’t really need it.
A very pleasant and soothing drink.
That being said, I don’t know that I would necessarily have called this a grapefruit tea. Tbh it’s more reminiscent of a pomelo as it doesn’t really seem to be as offensive as grapefruit

It was overall good just a little too light for my personal tastes

★★★★★

Absolutely wonderful. The grapefruit added the perfect dash of citrusy acid to the white tea - worlds better than White Tangerine!

★★★★★

Smooth white tea with an elegant grapefruit flavor.

★★★★☆

Very nice refreshing tea...however very light flavor...the white peach tea has a bit more flavor

★★★★★

This is an amazing tea. It has such great flavor from the min you open the bag to the final sip of the cup.

★★★★★

This white grapefruit has the perfect little hint of grapefruit taste and is delicious!

Very nice. I was worried the grapefruit would be too much, but this was the perfect blend of flavor that didn t overwhelm the white tea. @adagioteas

I usually am partial to strong black teas but I loved this white tea! The grapefruit flavor is just strong enough!

★★★★★

One of my new favs! Tried this on a whim and do glad I did. It is so light and refreshing. Slightly grassy (which I love), but with a hint of zing.

★★★☆☆

A good tea, made better with added honey or sugar. The citrus is quite present.

★★★☆☆

I'm not a huge fan of this. I put sugar and honey in my tea, and maybe that was my mistake. Without the added sweetness it's just not good, but the tartness of the grapefruit just doesn't really work well in my opinion.

I don t usually like fruity teas, but I picked this as a free sample to try cold brewing it. It was one of the best cold teas I ve had! The grapefruit taste was strong but not overwhelming. I steeped it with some fresh sprigs of mint, and mixed in some actual grapefruit juice after straining it out as a sweetener. Easily the most refreshing glass of iced tea I ve had.

★★★★☆

Light taste, but about what I expected for a white tea.

The grapefruit flavor is very subtle. And when I say subtle I mean nearly nonexistent. The white tea has a delicate and refreshing taste, though!

I can smell the grapefruit, but I'm having a really hard time picking out the flavor once brewed, even with some sugar. It's a tasty cup of just white tea for me!

★★★☆☆

Enjoyed this tea as part of the CommuniTEA. It is definitely not what I would call 'zesty citrus flavor,' as described. This white tea is distinctly (but delicately) flavored with grapefruit, which is enhanced with the slightest amount of sweetener (too much overwhelms the flavor). It was okay both hot and cool, and reminded me of infused water. This blend is too mild to stand up to a second steep. The oolong and ceylon grapefruit teas have a more robust flavor.

Tried as a CommuniTEA sample. Delicate white tea with a hint of grapefruit flavor. I prefer more robust teas but if you're a fan of white tea and citrus, you'll probably enjoy this.

I like my tea to really have a kick, this had more flavor as it cooled but never hit that mark for me. Maybe if I had more tea it would be better it's not terrible just not for me.

This was a very lightly flavored white tea. There was much more aroma than there was flavor. The tea was very nice, I just wish there was more grapefruit flavor.

A fruity tea with a grapefruit taste that doesn't taste too sour. It is good either hot or cold.

★★☆☆☆

It's a fine enough white tea, but there is barely any citrus flavor. If I didn't know this was a grapefruit tea I don't think I would have picked it up at all.

★★★★★

It's very easy to accidentally make this tea a bit too sweet, but it's a delicious and citrusy drink that is very distinctly grapefruit. Often it muddles and tastes more like orange or lemon, but this tea maintains its identity flawlessly.

This was pretty good as a light iced tea. Summery, mild citrus. I wouldn't think of grapefruit with it but I enjoyed it.
