There are aspects of vegetal green in this tea which I liked, but then there was this bitter astringency that I didn't care for.
This early spring tea offers young leaves and delicate unopened buds. Dry leaf aroma is crisp with hints of fruit and floral.

I accidentally steeped this tea for 20 minutes. I used less water when steeping this one due to other reviews describing it as light. The result was a very strong, mineral earthy flavor. Almost undrinkable in my opinion. My attempt at a resteep did not have much flavor. I think this one would've been alright if I didn't mess up the steep time. I'd like to try it again, but mineral earthy teas aren't my favorite so I wouldn't buy it for myself.
This is a great tea to end the May Communitea box. I like that it was delicate. It's smooth just like White Symphony and the recently discontinued Snowbud. This may be in my shopping cart sometime this summer.
Three delicate floral was nice, but the astringency was a bit ro strong for my liking
This tea is a touch of glass tea! I'm always honored to drink it.
This tea is very mild and has slight grassy notes. A little too light for my taste buds.
I can’t tell if this tastes more like a green, a white, or an oolong. It’s alright but not something I would buy when there are so many other good options.
light Darjeeling, mild, smooth flavor. It's easy to drink I added a touch honey. I sampled this tea as part of the CommuniTEA May 2021 box
A very light taste, not my cup of tea, I did it at 109 degrees for 3 min put little sugar.☕️🫖
Today's packet gave off a fresh earthy scent. Steeping at 195° for 3 minutes created a very light brown tea.
The mild and somewhat floral first sip was an interesting cross between a white tea and darjeeling. Some of the familiar muscatel flavors were present, but much more floral and fresh fruit characteristics were covering it. As the tea cooled, the grape and muscatel flavors came out much more.
This one's a curiously light darjeeling which definitely shows how the processing alone can affect the tea differently. As it cools the temperature seems to affect and morph the flavor over time. It was almost like a silver needle tea when hot, and a mild darjeeling when cooled. Perfect for a nice light afternoon tea!
Mild floral flavor. Not much else to note. It’s not a bad cup of tea, I just tend to like things with a bit more flavor
Lovely white tea, able to enjoy multiple steeps. I agree with Jim. This one most enjoyed hot. As it cools, it loses the delicacy and becomes more vegetal and green tea like (which isn’t awful, just prefer this one hot) Happy sipping!
Brewed for 3 minutes at 195 degrees. This is a Darjeeling white tea, but it tastes like a green tea to me. Begins with a smooth mineral taste, blends into a warm grassiness, and ends with a dry finish. I haven’t tried much Darjeeling before, and can’t compare it to other blends.
I enjoy teas from the Rohini estate, and this is a very delicate white tea in the same family, but more subtle. Dry tea smelled a bit like hay, and the resulting cup is a pale yellow green. The main notes when hot are a light honeysuckle, with the honeysuckle floral note becoming slightly stronger when warm. Very delicate taste, and the finish is subtle but noticeable. This is a very refreshing cup. Brewed 3 minutes at 190.
I'd say it's an all right tea, nothing special and nothing I'm purchase in bulk. It has a nice scent and a nice flavor, but it's just pretty bland.
Flavor is very delicate. The scent is nice and reminds me of fruit blossoms and dry grass.
I followed the steeping instructions (3min at 190F), but I feel like maybe I should have steeped it less because this tea tasted very astringent. It wasn't my cup of tea, I guess.
I really liked this one. It has a nice, smooth, mild flavor, sort of faintly fruity or flowery, I'm not sure which, but neither hint is overpowering. It also has a really nice mouthfeel. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's very smooth and full-bodied. It's not bitter at all, or astringent. I brewed for 3 min at 190F.
This tea is absolutely delightful: delicate, airy, floral with a hint of raisin on the back end. I am in love.
This tea is not for me. I could barely find any flavor in it except for a metallic/mineral taste that I did not find pleasant. I tried a second steep in hopes that I would detect some new flavors, but there was no change.
All I got was bitterness. Not from my emotions, but from the flavor of the tea. There was no other flavor.
Standard Darjeeling scent on opening the package. Very vegetal smell upon brewing, more like a green tea than a white. The flavor is also more like a bland green tea. The sweet muscatel notes come ghosting in after a few sips, strengthened further with a half teaspoon of sweetener. A bit of added sweetness completely changes the flavor into a delicate, honeyed white tea. Enjoyable enough to finish the cup, but not something I would buy on its own. (3 minutes at 190°F)
I've never had a Darjeeling tea before. Today's was interesting to me since i felt like i was drinking a green tea even though it's not. Which i vibe with extremely. It's deceptive in all the good ways i just wish i'd made more than a single cup of this lil devil.
This tea was light and nice for a late morning/early afternoon cup. Mildly floral, with the airiness of a traditional white.
Nice flavor in a light tea. Slight floral aroma that came out more as it cooled. Astringent, dry finish.
195 degrees for 4 minutes. I think to get the most out of this mildly flavored tea, it's better to drink it closer to room temperature. Tangy, floral, lightly astringent notes shine through when allowed to cool. Refreshing and light with a touch of sweetness, it was perfect for a pretty summer afternoon.
So good! It had all the things I love about white tea, and a bit of that Darjeelingy fruitness I love.
When i find myself sucking down Darjeeling with Mrs Nesbitt, i much prefer a black tea version. This just tastes flat.
Very pleasing sweet aroma, but I think this tea is just too delicate and subtle for me.
Nice light Darjeeling. I prefer the bolder taste of a good black Darjeeling (such as Rohini first flush or spring Darjeeling) but this is nice, and quite different.
So, maybe it is just my taste buds, but I couldn’t taste anything with this tea. I might as well have been drinking water. (3 mins @ 190°F)
Not a good tea for me. I have not found many white teas that I like so keep that in mind. Smelled floral and slightly like fresh grass when I opened the packet. Flavors are very delicate and there is a high amount of astringency. I tried adding honey, but this did not help. I was not able to finish this cup. I gave it 3 stars because my son enjoyed the rest of my tea. He enjoyed the subtle flavors and slight sweetness. 190º for 3 mins.
This tea is like a breath of fresh air. Very light and fruity taste of honeysuckle. Great sip on the first unofficial day of summer.
Dry, slightly spicy, reminiscent of cinnamon or nutmeg.
This is a light tea with minimal astringency. No flavorings, just straight white tea. I steeped at 195 F x 2.5 min with 1/4 tsp Monkfruit sweetener added. Delicious.
While this tea is good I prefer the stronger black version. The flavors come out more strongly then.
A delicate, light summery tea with a bit of a mineral/muscatel flavor. A shimmery floral note peeked out when chilled. I liked White Darjeeling best when sweetened. Since I had a sample bag of this tea on hand, I was able to experiment with sweeteners. What worked best were lightly flavored honeys and rock sugar. Adagio’s Tupelo honey and honey for fruit tisanes sweetened with a light touch as did their rock sugar that adds no flavor of its own.
My CT packet had 2 grams/ 2 ½ tsp. of light long and short airy tea leaves olive and silver hued. The gentle grassy scent of the dry tea translated to the mellow taste of the hot tea which was brewed at 195F for 3 min. in a 12 oz. mug. The amber yellow liquor upon first sip had a bit of an herbal and mineral taste. I experienced a slight dry mouth feel after a cup but didn’t detect any bitterness. As the tea cooled more, a whisper of muscatel flavor came forward.
This is a perfect blending tea. I blended White Darjeeling with Wild Strawberry and sweetened the half and half mix with fruit tisane honey. It was a delicious cuppa. The Darjeeling gently calmed the tart tisane taste and added balance with it’s light touch as a low caffeine tea base. I’ll be purchasing a bigger bag of this versatile tea to add that welcome little something to my sassy fruit teas.
Really really nice, light white tea with hints of fruit and floral. Adding to my wishlist!
Steeped at 190 for 3 minutes. A very mild tea...I like a fuller robust flavor. I did find it to be a pleasant flavor and not bitter.
I enjoy these unique versions of traditional teas. Terroir and timing driven, they are slow sippers meant for those who wish to cogitate on the processes that created them. In this case, a darjeeling is transformed. It's a white version so some of the 'usual' flavors are there but it's youth allows the floral and fruit to come forward more strongly. Multiple steeps give you the chance to enjoy how the tea morphs, changing a bit each time. I adore these light, creamy sips and will seek them out again and again! Happy Sipping!
This one is a very mild, mellow tea. Brewed at 194° for 3 minutes, I was able to taste a pleasant, almost hay-like flavor. Lightly sweetened with a touch of honey brought the tea to its full potential, although I detected no fruit or floral essence as mentioned in the description. I will admit though, my tongue was tasting light and delicate, but my mouth and brain was desiring rich dark black tea! My judgement may have been clouded! All in all a pleasant sip!
A very delicate tea! There are hints of grape and honey in the finish, but they are very subtle. I think this would be very refreshing iced.
The flavor of this tea is just a bit too delicate for me. A herbal scent greeted me as I opened the CommuniTea packet, and I was a bit worried this tea would have a grassy taste. Brewed 195F, 3 minutes. No grassy notes. Just a very light, delicate tea. I prefer a stronger taste. I enjoyed this one cup, but not a tea I would seek out for myself. I prefer Ooooh Darjeeling. Those who enjoy white teas or more delicate tastes will probably really like this!
I love white darjeeling. Very smooth and light white tea.
Hello Darjeerling
Sort of like hello sweetie
But you know, for tea
Truly QualiTEA
Quite delicious for sipping

Grassy but crisp yet astringent like tea. Quite different from the usual Darjeeling teas I used to.
This light delicate tea is delicious! It has a sweet aroma and taste, with notes of honey and grape. (2 minutes @ 180°) What a delightful tea.
I was expecting more from this since I like darjeeling and white teas. But it was very astringent no matter how much sugar I added and I didn’t find it to be floral or delicate at all. I brewed it 1 minute at 190 degrees.
With a little Matcha honey this tea is perfection after three minutes of steeping.
My new favorite white tea! It has a characteristic full-bodied Darjeeling flavor while still having a soft white tea flavor.
