***** I want this on hand at all times!
**** I will definitely be purchasing this again.
*** Won't turn it down if somebody offered me a cup.
** I'd have to be out of everything else.
* I tried, but after half a cup it went down the sink.

The jury is still out on the flavour of this tea on its own. But it does work well as an addition to another tea to add subtle flavour.

When you open it and smell it - it has such a nice aroma! I brew gongfu sytle only for loose teas. This one I did 185 for 30 seconds in a Gaiwan. It is smooth & sweet and very enjoyable. One you can reflect and relax with. I did more sessions - increasing heat and time as needed. Use 5 grams or more - depending on preference.

I could have sworn I had already reviewed this. I’m sure I’ve had it before, and I really liked it then, and I like it now. Delicate and light, but still flavorful. Nice evening cup.

While white teas tend to be lighter than I usually enjoy, this tea was quite flavorful and seemed to have a better 'weight' than most whites.

★★★★☆

A very delicate and light tea- not to my taste personally, but if you're not a fan of stronger teas, then this may be for you!

I like this white tea, but I can't really give it an objective review as my taste buds are not in peak condition. With a tingle at the back of my throat, any tea is a welcome salve so I don't want to mislead anyone with this review. I wish I could've tasted the fruit and floral notes notated in the description. I will have to revisit this review once I recover and try it again.

a really nice stand alone or base tea, soft subtlety of a white, some floral aromatics and undertones. Sent me back for a second steep!

This one is just far too delicate for me. I feel all whites are very subtle flavor notes, but this one may be the most so far as it really had very little flavor at all. It was very lightly floral tasting and I may have began to pick up a hint of natural sweetness that they may be alluding to fruit notes in the description, but it really was too delicate for me to be certain. Thanks for letting me try CT. 195° 3 min

I drank this while studying and my brain turned off in the most delightful way from the flavor. 10/10 recommend, RIP my future exam

White darjeeling is a very delicate tea with strong floral notes. I used a lower temperature than suggested to help with the bitter aftertaste. And with a bit of honey, it really feels like Im drinking a flower!

CommuniTEA sample: 3 min @ 212 F. I managed to get 3 infusions out of these leaves, and they were all quite flavorful. There is a little bit of an aroma of something that smells like grapes, and you can taste it too, but it doesn't have the sweetness nor the tartness that you might expect for grapes. I think that's a great sign that this is Darjeeling. It does have sweetness, though. The sweetness reminds me of honeysuckle, as well as a little bit of a brown sugar, molasses, sweet and warm spice scent. It's a little bit heavier in body than you might expect for a white tea, but it has a very smooth mouth feel and only a tiny bit of very balanced astringency.

It's very delicate certainly has a flowery taste on the back end but perhaps a bit too delicate for me. Still it's a good alternative considering I don't care for true darjeeling.

This is my favorite tea from Adagio. I brew at 185 for 3-5 min and it turns and nice deep golden brown color. It’s a rich white tea with an earthy flavor, though still light as a white tea is. So delicious.

I absolutely love this delicate tea. I find it to be perfect with or without honey or other sweetener.

The Aroma of White Darjeeling is like a Guava. It needs more time to taste as the aroma. I will try this tea with taking time.

Delicate floral flavors and beautiful color. A very enjoyable tea which pairs well with lighter fare, and is also enjoyable on its own.

Oh this was a delight! Super smooth and delicate, but with that slight apricot flavor you know and love from Darjeeling. It has a velvety mouth feel and leaves the tip of your tongue tasting honeysuckle afterwards.

I was intrigued into buying a sample because it's usually black teas coming out of Darjeeling, then had to come back for more. This is an interesting white, balanced—neither too sweet nor prone to astringency—and light without being weak.

una taza redonda ofrece tanto notas florares cómo frutales, la suavidad de una taza de te blanco pero con la variedad de notas de un Darjeeling

Definitely not a favorite for me. I think I will stick with primarily black and oolong teas after this. I prefer the more robust teas with stronger flavors.

Fuzzy leaves create a very light (in color as well as flavor) and slightly sweet cup of tea. Delicate!

Lower in caffeine, but in no way lower in taste! The absolute perfect if you need to lower your caffeine intake.

Update: I switch my brewing method and got much better results. My cup has gentle astringency, delicate hits of flowers notes and touch of sweetness. It can steep at least two times. It a good representation of the champagne of teas.

Surprised by this! A richer than normal tasting white tea. Refined, almost black tea flavor- I guess that's the Darjeeling part (which I confess I've never had, not really be a black tea drinker). Really enjoying this, will purchase again.

★★★★★

This is a very pleasing tea. Mild in flavor, just what is needed at the end of a stressful day. One of my favorite white teas.

★★★★☆

This is a perfect tea to pair with some nice honey! The tea itself was very light tasting white tea that had an almost vegetal or grassiness to it, but nothing too strong.

I’m not a fan of white or green teas so this one didn’t work for me. I brewed it at 180 for 3 minutes so as not to overstep it. I didn’t taste much flavor other than a light grassy taste that I just did not enjoy, but that could have just been my packet. If you like light white and green teas, you will probably enjoy it.

This tea was not bad - just very light flavor. I like Darjeeling but I guess the white version wasn’t as stout as I was expecting.

2/3/23 original review must have been prior to my variable temp kettle. Enjoyed this tea from hot to room temp with no bitterness noticed.
4/1/21 Taking the advice of fellow CommuniTea members, I brewed this tea in a little less water than usual. Still a very light tea but enjoyable with a touch of buttery creaminess in each sip. Did find this one to be better warm as it became slightly bitter as it cooled.

Fruit and floral in a delicate tea. I had no bitter, astringent, or grassy tastes in my cup. Lovely cup of tea for me.

Today's CommuniTEA is White Darjeeling (2-3-23). Upon opening my packet, I had a good amount of tea for my mug. I added milk thistle and fruit tisanes honey. It was surprisingly good! A nice, light cup of tea to start the morning with. I liked it and would definitely recommend this tea!

I really liked this one. I was nervous after smelling the leaves since it had a grassy aroma. But no grassiness was in the taste. Just as nice, subtle orchid, floral taste.
