This is a very mild white tea. I enjoyed it, but I think I prefer white teas with a heavier flavor profile than this one. The little squares were really cool though. I was thoroughly entertained :)
White peony leaves pressed into a small square shape for easy transport. The aroma is fresh, with the classic notes of cucumber and sweet melon.

It was a pleasant, neutral cup of tea. Enjoyable, but didn t wow me. Milk or sugar would have overpowered the subtle flavour - black is the way to go. It s a fascinating way of presenting the tea - a cool novelty. I don t think I d go out of my way to buy pressed tea again, but I m really glad I tried it.
These are so cute! Having them in 'cookie' form adds a bit of fun, and it's a delicious white tea(:
Love the cookie shape and the flavor is what I expect from a white tea. But, I think I brewed this wrong because I had the jitters after drinking it. I used a whole cookie in my tea maker with 2 cups water. Wondering what is the ratio of this to water. I’ll try it again as 1 cup of water to 1/4 of the cookie.
This is a great tea!! The flavor is great, layered and earthy (in a good way) as a hot cup of tea, both sweetened with honey and plain/unsweetened. Would recommend!
Good. Not worth the extra cost though. Doesn t hold up to a second steep. I dunno. I like the cheaper stuff better.
Good for gongfu brewing. It is light and sweet. It is nice everyday brew
Brewed Gong Fu Style. This one I will definitely reorder. It has the aroma of honey and baked breads!!! This tea is perfect for a beginner its easy to drink and not easy to oversteep
This is an excellent tea. Directions said to use one cookie per cup, which seems like major overkill, as they are 6 grams each. So I broke off close to 2g and used 6oz of water. The leaves stayed pretty well compressed during the first 3 min steep. Infusion 1 produced a really light white liquor with no strong odor and a very subtly sweet taste. Infusion 2 saw the cookie break up more and produced a darker pale golden liquor that was very satisfying. 'Melon sweetness' is a descriptor someone used and I agree with it. The cookie continued to break up over another several infusions, each producing a really nice, golden, smooth, subtly sweet cup. Really enjoyed it overall!
Love this one! It's a nice, light tea, very drinkable.
I’m a huge fan of white tea, and this little tea cookie makes me feel high class. It is subtlety sweet, and has good flavor for a white tea.
White Square Cookie is a fun way to brew tea and it’s a good white tea. I will be having a 2nd brew for my afternoon tea.
Great tea and fun to watch it unfurl as it brews.
Delectable light flavor with subtle fruity notes. Very convenient cookies make great tea!
Tasty tea. Works well in the IngenutiTEA. Remained flavorful for multiple infusions.
I was definitely expecting to taste something like a sugar cookie. The only thing I tasted was tea.
This tea is perfect for evening - it's so delicate and still flavorful. I have found myself wanting to reach for this sample every night, so I need to buy more! The cookie form is fun also.
I was so intrigued by this. It has a mild floral flavor. Just ok.
These are wonderful. I ve been trying to get into white tea more as a low caff option, but I like strong flavors. Usually white tea is just too light, but not this cookie. It is lighter than a black or green but still flavorful. I also love breaking bits off that little cake it comes in. Makes me feel like a real tea connoisseur.
Stronger flavor than I expected from a white tea. But still overall mild. Like a mild oolong. I really liked it.
Only getting the barest hints of cucumber, but this is just lovely.
I am pretty sure its just personal preference that I like strong teas and this one is not. It is a very light flavor which was convenient for drinking in the evening when black tea is a bad idea. The cookie is very convenient to just stick in my teapot but did not break apart all the way so maybe that is why the flavor felt lacking.
I LOVE the idea of tea in a cookie form. Delicious tasting, I m on my second cup. This is definitely one of my new favorites.
I took this camping, and felt very old fashioned. It was super fun, and tastes great.
Really did not really know what this was until the tea arrived. I have liked white teas in the past and this one was just as good. I would by it again.
Great white tea - mellow and light. Just not my super fav
A yummy breakfast tea, smooth and gentle on the stomach for a black tea. I would buy it again and recommend it to my friends.
This is a wonderful tea. It has a good bit of depth for a white tea. Smooth with a honeyed lightly floral taste. Good for multiple infusions with a tiny bit of astringency creeping in on later infusions. The cute little 'cookies' unfurl to nice big leaves. This is one of my favorites that I have tried from Adagio. Only 2 minutes on the first infusion, 3 for all others.
Subtle flavor that holds up to multiple infusions back to back, obviously similar to white peony.
These were so cute! I brewed one of these in my Adagio jumbo cup. So fun!
Slivers of compact tea pressed into a wafer? Outstanding! And the flavor, astounding and wonderful for even the most discerning palate. I love tea always! So I am telling the world how cool this tea company is. I have purchased from many, but no one has offered a better, more satisfying cuppa! Adagio!
This unique form of tea is not only fun but delicious!
This tastes just like the white peony loose leaf tea, with a smooth and light body and notes of honeydew melon. It's more convenient to have it already pressed into a single serving size without having to measure out the leaves, really nice if you want to take some tea with you while traveling. I am able to get 2-3 infusions out of it before the leaves fully open up.
Bought this for a friend...she liked the idea of tea in a cookie form.
this is a different white tea than most will be used to. other white teas i've had tend to have an accent accompanying them. this tea by name had me anticipating a cookie dough like flavor-not the case. the flavor was good - in short it reminded me of a very light (as many white teas are) version of the ooooh darjeeling. it doesn't have the depth and malty savory flavor but it has the honey sweetness and 'hayness' of the Darjeeling. i enjoyed a large cup this morning prepared with a bit of milk and sugar. i find the milk suspends the teas flavor longer than without, plus i like creaminess it lends. a good tea but i don't see this as a regular in my rotation.
Very fun! The taste was nice and subtle, just what you want from a white tea.
This tea is so cool in a little brick. Light flavor.
This is so cute - like a little wafer of delight! I have yet to brew it, so I cannot give my pinion on the flavor. It does smell nice though! I might save for a special occasion.
Interesting tea to try and expand my tea horizon.
Nice light tea. Great for a gift or to enjoy yourself. Steeping a bit longer is recommended, as the flavor is a bit lighter than other white teas.
This is really different. I am not sure how much to use. Looking forward to trying more of it.
Very nice and smooth, for a: white tea. White cookie/peony lovers rejoice ..A adorable and fun to taste. I used-teaspoon-honey and the flavors come alive.
This may just be my favorite tea Adagio offers. So delicious! Brewed up, this tea tastes like liquid honey. Sweet and just perfect. I'm sad that I don't have more and I'm already out. This will become a must buy to always have on hand.
Very smooth, with subtle floral and honey notes. The cake form is very convenient!
This tea is amazing when served gongfu style. Light, refreshing, and not too filling, perfect for an afternoon cuppa.
The novelty was fun, but overall the tea didn’t have enough flavor for me. It wasn’t bad, just kind of flat.
It's very mild, subtle and slightly floral. It's pleasant.
Certainly beautiful, but not particularly flavorful or aromatic. I brew gong fu style (ignore the time listed in the review; I start at about 20 seconds). White tea is usually delicate, but this is just... boring.
This tastes as strong bodied and astringent as the white pearls, only in a different and compact shape, which may make it easier for traveling.
Interesting and novel form, but the tea itself is less impressive. It's not bad at all, just kind of bland, does have a silky texture though.
