a little to light on flavor for me but all in all nice and tasty

★★★★★

This unique presentation of white tea is just pure fun. Crumbling the leaves up to brew adds to the experience. It brews up quickly into a light, smooth cup with a little floral aroma and light, silky taste.

I m not usually a fan of white teas because they re so light but I enjoyed this one. The cookie certainly makes carrying the tea a lot easier since there is no measuring involved. I was able to get 3 brews out of the first cookie which was an added bonus

The flavor is delicate but enjoyable. It is floral, sweet, watery and a little woody. It has a quality that is almost ghostly and leaves the impression of a deeper, richer tea (like an orange pekoe) then wisps away.

A nice cup of tea to gently greet the day. 8oz package had approx 40 cookies. Flavor is light & earthy; mouthfeel has body. Low astringency. Finish is smooth. Aroma is clean & herbal or woody.

I've never had a tea square before. This was great.

★★★★★

These are the perfect size for a single personal pot of tea without having the measure a thing

★★★★★

I use about a 1/3rd of the cookie in 8 oz of water- and wow. So smooth and lovely. Gorgeous amber color. I did not expect to enjoy this subtle cup as much as I did. Definitely gotta try if you haven t!

Very nice light white tea. Good for several resteeps

★★★☆☆

the little squares are adorable! this was a bit too mild for me but that might be because i'm a barbarian and like to feel as though my drink is punching me in the face a little bit.

★★★★☆

I do like White Peony. I love the taste of White Peony. But molding all of those tea leaves into a cookie is nothing special for me. Maybe someone who often spills their sample/bag of tea leaves before it gets into its infuser might appreciate the cookie form. It is a good tasting tea otherwise.

Really fun way to make tea. Wish more flavors were available

★★☆☆☆

I just did not like this tea. It tasted like dirty hot. I add some lemon and ice and it was drinkable

It’s really just okay. There’s nothing at all special about it. I super disappointed:((((.

Such a cool way to try white tea, this one has a very light flavor with the tiniest bit of astringency, very nice for white tea fans.

This one i really wanted to love, who doesn’t love cookies. But it tasted fake/artificial to me.

★★★★☆

This was okay, very delicate and I wish I d had a glass teapot to watch it steep. I think this would be ideal for a visual steeping. The flavour was mellow and smooth, delicate like I expected.

Very entertaining steep. But the flavor didn't suite me at all. There's earthy then there's dirt. Apologies to fans but I'll pass on this one.

★★★★★

Tea cakes or cookies are so elegant. Great white tea. Very smooth tea with slight floral notes and honey notes. Adding to my favorites list.

Feel free to laugh at me, but when I first made this tea I had just woken up and barely had my eyes open, which led to me just dropping an entire cookie in a cup and brewing it. First, you're supposed to break a piece off. Second, my leaves were free range in the cup I had not inserted any infuser. Third, when you don't break them up they do not brew very well due to lack of surface area. When I came back I gave myself a moment (ok, several) to reflect on my life. Then I tried again, properly and with a wee bit more faculties. The tea is great. And having it in 'cookie' form is super fun. It's white tea so it's a light cup, which I do love.

Convenience is great. No need to measure but the cookie may be a little large for a cup. The taste is good but nothing special.

This tea is a little bit more interesting than flavourful.

WOW!!! The flavor of these white cookie squares is delightful. Total worth the try.

★★☆☆☆

First, the good: the novelty (for me, anyway) of the square mini-cake, and the enjoyment of watching it break apart over multiple steepings (the metal infuser I use is particularly good for this); and of course the astonishing number of infusions each cake is good for (6 or 7, I found!)

The bad: in a word, the flavor. I know taste is completely subjective, but for me, this variety is nothing like what I've come to expect from a quality white tea, and instead tastes like a watered-down black. The number of infusions you can get out of each cake becomes a nuisance when you don't actually like the taste. Deciding to use one of these cakes is a commitment to spend a full day re-infusing the same miserable little metal basket of wet leaves rather than lose out on the money you paid for them.

Sorry, I'll stick with Silver Needle.

This is my first time trying a tea from a square. It's really different from anything else I've tried.

★★★★★

Best tea I have tasted so far. Strong enough I only used half a square and still had strong but great taste

This is such a fun tea! Reminds me of a light oolong, or even a yellow tea like hunan gold. Richer flavor than white peony but very smooth and slightly sweet.

★★★☆☆

Original review: Very light flavor, tastes a little of cucumber, but that is about it.

I am updating this review. Directions say to prepare at 3-5 min, 180 and I didn't get any taste from it. I changed it to 195 for 3 minutes and that brought out much more flavors of cucumber and sweetness.

I was moderately underwhelmed by this...it was tasty, but a bit too subtle for me

What a wonderful innovative in tea brewing! I used only half a cookie for my cup and it was delightful.

Delightfully light and mineral with hints of sweetness and fruit underneath. I will definitely get three or more steeps out of these.

Nice white tea! Very basic, a little earthy. The cookie was fun but less practical for straining.

I use 1/2 cookie per cup and am able to steel it multiple times.

★★★★★

Best plain white tea I ve had. Also very good with a few drops of grapefruit essential oil on the square before steeping.

★★★★★

it isnt one of my favorites but it is still good. nice and crisp

★★★★★

I ordered this because it looked interesting, but it is also really good. It was fun brewing for friends who are new to tea.

★★★★☆

Very melon and cucumber forward, . The squares are smaller than I expected (2 per sample bag, thin) but they unfurl to fill a whole cup diffuser. I would recommend half a cookie per generous cup

★★★★★

I really enjoyed this 'cookie'. It didn't fully break apart during steeping though for me. I just think it's a cute way to drink your tea, but personally I prefer other white teas over this one as far as taste goes. Worth a try though!

Light flavor, but the pressed tea aspect was too fun to pass up. Loved it!

I have been looking at these cookies for some time, and finally decided to add to my Bella Luna Blue order... I have tried both in my gaiwan and western brewing and surprisingly i found this a more enjoyable cup western style - i think perhaps the delicate flavour just didn’t shine enough for gong fu brewing. I am not sure this will be something i will reorder as I’d be much more likely to opt for a silver needle if I’m looking for a white tea.

What a fun way to drink tea. More of a show piece for friends who are new to tea though.

★★★★★

The flavor is delicate and I enjoyed it although I don't think my tea palette is quite sophisticated enough to really get into it.

★★★★☆

The leaves are a bit darker than I m used to seeing in white teas, which are usually soft green, and the flavor of the tea is slightly more robust than others that I ve had. It s still a white tea, so it s very light with strong notes of flowers and a subtle honey sweetness (though no sweetener was added to the tea). It s a great introductory white tea to have on hand for friends who are learning about teas.

★★★★★

Loved the unique look of the pressed tea and it was also a light and pleasantly fragrant tea. Really enjoyed this one.
