This tastes as strong bodied and astringent as the white pearls, only in a different and compact shape, which may make it easier for traveling.
Interesting and novel form, but the tea itself is less impressive. It's not bad at all, just kind of bland, does have a silky texture though.
There is something about having tea in a cake form that makes things so much more elegant, especially if you have a fancy tea knife!
