I think this tea is overpriced, but maybe I just don't get white teas. It's defnitely clean, but doesn't taste like much of anything.
Silver Needle white tea is among the most revered of Chinese teas. Gathered only for a few days in early spring, a dedication to perfection is evident in the pale, ivory-colored liquor. Delicately honeysuckle floral, with a warmed sugar sweetness.

I think this tea is overpriced, but maybe I just don't get white teas. It's defnitely clean, but doesn't taste like much of anything.
Not one I will order again. This tea was very weak flavored to me. I made 2 cups of tea out of what should have been able to make 4 and it still was very bland for me.
This tea is particularly lovely! It's a delicate flavor and make sure not to steep it too long or else you'll affect the flavor.
Very fresh, very nice. White tea isn't something I crave very often, but this was a nice one. Fresh and delicate flavored. I steeped for 1.5 minutes the first time and was able to get a pretty consistent two more brews out of each set of leaves at around 2 minutes. Be very careful of the water temperature, but that's probably a given.
Silver Needle has always been one of my favorite teas. Adagio Silver Needle has a very delicate ethereal quality. It is not bitter or strong and lacking in astringency if made properly with the right quantity of tea at the right temperature.
This is a delightful drink especially for the morning when you just want to relax.
This tea is awesome, light and flavorful. You can get multiple steepings out of the same cup.
Curiouser and curiouser; it was a nice change from your typical red or green teas
not using anymore, prefer dragonwell and hunan gold
By far one of my favorite teas. It is naturally sweet with a light taste. Shame it is also one of the more expensive.
A very good Silver Needle! I tasted a light earthiness, a bit of parchment, and a honey sweetness at the end. I didn't get any sugar notes- which would have made this perfect (I can always go for a bit more sweetness). Good for multiple brews. I will reorder.
I've been using silver needle for a blend I make when brewing kombucha. The fruitiness of this white tea, is nice match for the green and black tea I'm using.
Excellent flavor. Light and delicate. Very refreshing.
A amazing white tea where it beauty is in its simplicity.
Silver Needle is an essential white. It has a smooth, delicate flavor with a slight nectar taste. Definitely more of a flavorful white!
So mild but definitely worth having a cuppa. Soothing
I bought this because I had received [what appeared to be] Silver Needle from China. This is still a good tea, but not quite as amazing as what I received directly from China. I would like to note, however, that this tea is more flavorful after this first steep.
Light and healthy tea. I drink it hot in summer. I love to brew lose teas in my favorite tea press.
A little too strong on the caffeine for me. Definitely made my workday more energetic than normal, just too much for me. Good flavor and all.
Silver Needle is really delicate white tea, but when steeped right the aroma and taste is fantastic. The taste is not too overwhelming and it is a very refreshing tea. I have enjoyed this tea for years and am thankful that I can still get supplies of this from adagio. I have tried other companies, but the quality does not compare.
Great tea. Very light. I enjoy this one particularly at night.
Maybe I don't quite understand how white teas are supposed to work. The flavor is so subtle that I found it kind of boring. I want the tea to have a clear character, and I couldn't detect that character in this silver needle. My wife, on the other hand, really enjoyed its subtlety.
I made this as an iced tea, very good actually a little sweet.
Beautiful silver needle white tea! Great for making your own blend
This is a new tea for us. We brew it on weekends, love it. My cousin is drinking it now
OMG - what has not been said of Silver Needle?! There are some nay-sayers, but i am not one. In fact I just finished my lunch thermos full of White Needle... yep - I like it... Smooth, delicate yet full of flavor. It won't hit you like a truck, so if that's what you want move on, but if you can savor a cup, it's worth a try.
Soothing, graceful, and flavorful. One of my favorite white teas
Soft clean green tea with so many health benefits!
Cold brewing makes the Silver Needle sweeter and more fragrant. The method also reveals its subtle flavors.
One of the smoothest tea I have ever tasted !
Delicious !
Nice tea, very soft and delightful but not many layers. Still in move with my rooibos
Very good, has a tendency to be grassy if left to steep more than a few minutes.
Was amazed at the sublime taste. Fruity flavor and no earthiness.
Excellent tea. Lightly sweet, delicate, and very cute to look at.
This tea is very pleasant and refreshing. Light taste- would recommend minimal honey with it if you are going to sweeten.
Perfectly nice and soft, but I think white teas are a little too subtle for my taste. Definitely enjoyable if you are looking for a mild sort of tea.
So good! it is my favorite white tea. Slightly sweet and light.
We love this batch of silver needle. The steeping time prescribed is perfect.
This white tea deserves its fine reputation. Sweet and floral just as everyone says. I like it even better than the more expensive Fujian Silver Needle; it has more body.
I really liked this tea. It has a majestic floral fragrance with a honey like sweetness. It is very light and refreshing and pairs well with delicate desserts. I was looking specifically for a white tea that when steeped did not impart a dark colored liquor so that it would not interfere with the brilliant blue of the butterfly pea flowers that I wanted to pair it with. This tea works perfectly for that infusion and also pairs nicely with lily flowers and honeysuckle.
I have to give it five stars because it is very good flavor but it’s just so mild , I had to use twice as much as they said, and it’s already a more expensive tea... so if you live on a budget this one may not be for you
I have recently shifted predominantly to white teas and have been trying to compare the different varieties. Silver needle leads the pack with a light but still robust character that satisfies my attention.
Best white tea I have ever tasted. Buying more and more of it
Very smooth tea. Great taste actually my favorite white tea. I mix it wth gunpowder green for better taste of the green. Best tasting tea I've had and loaded with antioxidants
So light and fresh and delicious. Got it as a free sample in my first order years ago - didn't think I would like it since I usually prefer full-bodied, flavored teas. But was pleasantly surprised! Since then I've ordered this a couple times. Love it.
I love this tea and its one of my favorites! Very smooth and calming. I would recommend this to anyone!
Such a delicious white tea! While a bit more expensive than some teas, this tea is great for special occasions or when I simply want to mix things up! I
Very good, but be careful not to let it sit in the water too long!
I think I would have like this better if I would have tried it before the Jasmine Silver Needle. It seemed kind of bland after having the one with the Jasmine.
Only my second experience drinking a white tea. This was much better. Very light, no bitterness, a bit of a floral flavor, added about 1/4 tsp of sugar. Brewed at 190 degrees F for 3 mins. 30 seconds.
