I used to work for Teavana as a Tea Guide and the Silver Needle tea we sold was my personal favorite, and one of my best sellers. After we closed, I missed that tea so much. Tea Tasting Notes:
Nose - Light, mellow, very slightly oceanic
Taste - Surprisingly complex flavor. Lightly nutty and very smooth.
Effect - Soothing, but energizing. Helps get through a long day! Great for those who avoid caffeine but need a pick me up.

Best white tea I've had yet! We resteeped it three times and all three times it tasted fantastic. I personally think it's worth the price.
Honestly it was underwhelming for me, I did get the soft floral and honey notes but they were not pronounced enough for me. Once I added my own lemon verbena and a drop or so of honey it became a better sip of tea, worthy of 4 stars. By itself though, I will leave 3 stars.

I personally prefer silver needle that has more grassy and hay notes. This has a little bit of acidic like lemon notes.
Quality silver needle. Typical white tea taste which is bright and crisp. Keeps consistent flavor between multiple steeps. I brew it in a gaiwan and enjoy the same leaves multiple times.
It was alright. I’ve never really had any other silver needles before but it was fairly underwhelming.
This is a soft, gentle tea with a smooth taste and a suble floral note. The delicate flavor is a treat of great worth. No wonder it is such a highly treasured in China.
Updated review: It's been a while since I've had this tea, and I've gotta say, it's pretty great! It has a subtle fruity taste, with a cool finish. I really enjoy this one now!
Silver Needle has been a favorite of mine for a while. It has a nice flavor and it can be steeped quite a bit. I like to blend it with some of my favorite herbal teas to get a bit more health benefits and a more well-rounded cup of tea.
Not worth the price and I don't know what all the hype is about silver needle tea?
We were gifted a similar tea that a friend bought on a trip to Europe. We were disappointed to find that the small tea shop they bought it from didn't ship internationally, but this tea is a very close match. It's so subtle and smooth. An absolutely wonderful cup of tea!
Every time I make silver needle I feel like I’m indulging in such a luxury. It is well balanced and tastes so smooth and amazing. It’s wonderful as a hot tea, but also tastes lovely iced. It yields a pretty great second steep (and decent third if you’re so inclined!) if you don’t over-steep the first one. It’s definitely always on hand at my house! Great tea for when you’re feeling under the weather, too.
Very light and refreshing. I would recommend trying it if you like lighter teas and/or white teas.

I usually go for flavored teas, but decided to try this one out. As I thought, I do prefer added flavors, but the silver needle is a solid tea that I enjoy with breakfast.

Don’t have much to compare it to. Light flavor very clean. Need to compare to other quality white teas to get a true scope of it.
I was dubious when my SO suggested this because of the price, but it is well worth it! This is such a delicate and delicious flavor! It is a go-to for when I want something relaxing but not soporific! I also love this blended with the peach serenitea!
I only gave it one star iam sorry I have not made it to this one but I have sampled several from the Adagio selection and I'm sure I will not be disappointed.
Silver Needle has been my favorite type of white tea since I first tried it and Adagio's Silver Needle did not disappoint! It's a beautifully flavored white tea with a fresh and very lightly sweet taste. I have a couple co-workers who are tea drinkers and I got both of them on the Silver Needle bandwagon because of my order from this site (we have a communal tea drawer)! White tea can be a little tough to steep properly because it's so delicate, but there is nothing like a cup of perfectly steeped cup of Silver Needle and this one will definitely be a re-order since my current bag is almost gone. Frankly, I'm shocked it lasted this long! Absolutely recommended for people who like white tea, people who want to try white tea for the first time or people who like this specific type of white tea.

Not a high end silver needle and I could tell. Plain silver needle, and it tasted like all the other unflavored whites I was trying. I suggest the Masters collection Fujian Silver Needle if you really want a treat.
This is my first time trying a white tea and i am wonderfully surprised by how good it is. I first brewed it gong fu style for about 10 seconds at 180 f. I got a weak but pleasent taste and decided to brew it for around 25 seconds and that made all the difference. This is a subtle sophisticated tea that has a lot of layers that are hard to figure out. It is very smooth with a woody pine taste with a top note of pear. I am still trying to figure out all the flavors. The smell is hevenly as well. What a nice surprise.
