Amazing tea! This may be my new favorite hot tea added to the collection!
Silver Needle white tea is among the most revered of Chinese teas. Gathered only for a few days in early spring, a dedication to perfection is evident in the pale, ivory-colored liquor. Delicately honeysuckle floral, with a warmed sugar sweetness.

Amazing tea! This may be my new favorite hot tea added to the collection!
I tried adding more leaves to my infuser, but I can hardly taste this tea. Still trying to find my holy grail white tea.
Found this to be the highlight of the Advent calendar collection back in December, so I picked up a bag of it recently. It's really delicious as far as white teas go, it has a lot of flavor and subtle sweetness that is delightful!
Great white tea, has a hint of sweetness to it that is very enjoyable. I like to brew it Gongfu style.
wow- what a delicious surprise! Nice for slow sipping, reminiscent of a champagne you want to let linger. Even the color is lovely.
Honestly not much different from the Fujian Silver Needle, other than the significantly lower price. This one is a little less complex than the other one, but still a very delicious, light flavor that is super enjoyable.
A joy to drink! Subtle and perfect. I do multiple infusions, and the flavor changes each time but remains delicious.
This tea is my absolute favorite. I usually blend it with the green rooibos that is also sold on this site. It has a slight sweetness and blends well with almost any tea.
Love this tea! Great flavor and smells amazing definitely recommend!
This is a very light tea, I like having more toward night time.
So soft and light, mildly floral, this is the epitome of what I want from a white tea.
Very enjoyable light cup of tea. I prefer the jasmine silver needle only because i like the little more punch of flavor but silver needle is so great on it's own, too.
A very light tea, but has a very small window, making it easy to overbrew and turns a bit bitter if you do.
I love Silvers Needle! I was happy to get a sample bag in my August CommuniTEA box. Everything about this tea is amazing. It looks beautiful, smells nice, and tastes fantastic.
Only a few white teas impress me. Silver needle is delicate but honeysuckle sweet . I just adore this nectar of the gods tea.
I was very impressed with this white tea. Usually I'm not a fan of plain unflavored tea but this one had a mild flavor with a hint of apricot in the finish, I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth this cup of tea is.
Very subtle, slightly sweet, pleasant. I don't usually care for white teas, but really like this one.
What a nice tea. However like most white teas I do not find this strong enough for my tastes.
This is one of my favorite white teas! I’ve had it before now, but I wasn’t able to review it because it was from the better tea club. A great afternoon tea!! Very light.
Subtle flavor with nice hints of sweetness. Good tea overall
Nice light blend. White tea is not my favorite but it's good when you want something a bit basic and not as strong. Drank it hot with sweetener
This tea is delightful! It has a lovely honeysuckle aroma. Nice smooth taste, I enjoyed with a little honey.
This isn’t my normal go to style of tea but I actually really ended up enjoying it!
Light but flavorful. Really nice for a summer afternoon. Probably my favorite white tea.
I treated this Tea gently as recommended. 3 mins at 180 degrees F. It could be my inexperience with white tea, but I got a green tea vibe in the best way. Light, mellow, slightly grassy; I can see why this Tea is so popular. Lightly nutty and very smooth. Low caffeine but great flavor for those need to avoid caffeine. I sampled as part of the CommuniTEA August box.
This tea is nice and delicate, it tastes good on its own but is even better with a touch of honey.
Holy moly, this may be the best white tea I've ever had.
This is a very good tea. Light flavor. I think it would blend really well with other things because it wouldn’t overpower it.
For a white tea very good. Soft and soothing, no sugar needed.
I love this tea! I am a huge fan of the sliver needle and jasmine blend. But the silver needle alone is just as lovely It's nice and mellow tea.
This tea is a long time favorite of mine. I adore the mild smooth flavor, and it resteeps very well
Mild soft touch of honeysuckle. Just amazing. Pure and high quality. No need to add anything else to it. I savored each sip 💗💗💗💗💗
I love this. It is smooth, it has really good flavor. I did it for 4 min at 175 with a bit of white sugar to sweeten.
this is maybe the first tea i’ve had that i can actually describe as smooth. very good and light flavor
Nice light flavor. Usually I add a bit of sugar to my tea, but this one has a mild sweetness on its own.
Light, subtly, and fruity. I'm usually not a huge fan of white teas and only drink them with added flavoring, but this is one of the few I can really enjoy on its own.
This is my second time trying a white tea. The first time I used the white tea setting on my pot which was 185. This time with my new pot I was able to dial down to 180. I poured at the 3 minute mark. The color is a soft golen hue. The taste was a caml enjoyable flavor. I know another name for silver need it Bai Hao Yin Zhen, or Zhen. Which I found drinking this tea gave me a nice Zen feeling. I want to pour a large cup and just sit on the front porch and drink all day.
Part of the August 2020 CommuniTEA box. The flavor is indeed light and airy, too much so for my taste, even on the first infusion. Interesting to try, but I’ll stick to more flavorful teas.
A lovely white that's mild, faintly woody and lightly floral. There is just a touch of astringency on the tip of your tongue. Good for multiple infusions. 3 min at 180F, unsweetened. Longer steeping times for second and third infusion.
Such a soft and subtle tea. I love it dearly. I like it hot and iced.
Nice and light and earthy flavors. I really enjoyed the lightness. Steeped at 180 for 3 min.
I love silver needle tea. It is definitely a light tea but with every sip I taste something different and more complex.
This tea is heaven in a cup. I definitely understand how this is a highly revered tea. The lightly floral honeysuckle notes shine well. I love this!
Very light almost floral flavor. Not bad, but not something I typically go for.
I love the mild soft flavor of this tea. No interruptions from other flavors, just the sweet taste from the tea leaves.
I'm not usually a fan of white tea, but this one is very good. I thought it had a sweet, almost apricot flavor. I drank it hot.
This is how I know tea. It finishes well. It keeps tasting. The grape is caught at the nose and finish.
One of my favorite white teas from Adagio. It is light and delicate and delicious.
Did a 15 second hot rinse on the tea prior to steeping as there were lots of broken tea needles and dust in the bag. This woke them up at least! Very pleasant honeysuckle and woody tastes were noted from start to finish typical of a good silver needle. Very mild floral and astringent zings were noted at the end. This one reminds me of my favorite Teavana tea. It made me smile by giving me a very smooth and buttery mouthfeel on the palate. This is a three-steeper! You can also go another round as there was at least 2-1/2 teaspoons of tea in the bag! (15 sec hot rinse, 3 mins @ 175F, no sugar)
I was afraid this would turn out to be a boring tea for me, and I was happy I was wrong. Mellow with a subtle floral note, the sweetness mild yet perfectly balanced with the nuance of this tea.
