This is one of the better Silver Needle teas that I've had. It's very light and elegant.
Silver Needle white tea is among the most revered of Chinese teas. Gathered only for a few days in early spring, a dedication to perfection is evident in the pale, ivory-colored liquor. Delicately honeysuckle floral, with a warmed sugar sweetness.

This is one of the better Silver Needle teas that I've had. It's very light and elegant.
Solid, but not thrilling. I suspect that white teas are just not really for me.
My favorite tea of all time. I have tried other silver needle teas and Adagio is by far the best
This is ok, I think it s expensive for what you get, not too much flavor but I ll take it!
Best Tea ever! I have at least one cup every night.
Such an amazing tea! I can really taste the honeysuckle and I love it. One of my faves from Adagio! Highly recommend!! :)
I love Silver Needle, it's a standout tea. Smells great, but is quite pricy.
I love this tea so much. I have been very sick the last few days and this has been a lifesaver. It has such a light, inviting flavor to it. It is such high quality that I cant even bring myself to add lemon to it haha
I came , i saw , i'm not interested. I purchased a sample to see what the hype was about the silver needle but i'm not impressed at all.
love love love this iced with some fresh fruit on the side
This tea is so relaxing when i want to wind down for bed, so light and relaxing!!
I love this white tea. It's light, delicious, delicate and definitely heralds notes of honeysuckle.
Had this tea later in the evening to try out a mild caffeine before bed. It's nice! I like it well enough. I think I made the water a little too warm so it became less gentle and more like the aggressive side of the name. Tried again a day later with cooler water and there it was. Just as described.
Always a perfect white go-to. Silver needle never disappoints. Adagio's SN is consistently smooth with just enough mischievous in its flavor to keep me coming back for more.
This is a *really* nice cup of tea. I got the sample because it was on sale. I'm not sure if my taste is picky enough to spring for this higher priced tea again, but I'm definitely thoroughly enjoying the quality of my sample cups.
WOW. I'd only had silver needle once before and it was a long time ago at a sort of fancy tea experience place, so I wasn't fully sure what to expect beyond 'I think it was smooth and light? I know I liked it' and it turns out my memory wasn't off. It's been my favorite tea recently, though I've been spacing out my cups of this cause it's a little expensive, but I'll definitely be ordering more (and springing for a sample of the Fujian masters version). I find it extremely soothing which is something I need a lot of right now! LOL
A wonderful green tea. It took me a while before I was comfortable getting the water temp right, but now I have a routine and it’s easy.
This tea is very delicate and tastes like you dropped a cut grape in some hot water, plus a bit of a slightly floral background, maybe honeysuckle. But overall it is delightfully fruity, refreshing, and simple. There's a little bit of body to the liquid that coats the tongue. A great starting point for white tea. Gong fu style brewing, 5g to 140ml water, 30 seconds for the first steep.
Remember Teavana's Mind & Body tea? This was one of the three components. The other two being Silver Needle and Jasmine Dragon Pearls. That's why I bought this tea, to re-create my most favorite tea. Same review for Silver Needle. But I do drink Jasmine Dragon on it's own, because I love green tea and it's antioxidants.
I have a newfound appreciation for white teas after trying this silver needle. Very soft, delicate and pleasant on the pallete. I most enjoy it with dessert after dinner.
Awesome stuff. Our reorder is exactly the same high quality as before. We are very pleased.
Liked the flavor and would like to it mixed with citrus.
I wish it wasn't so expensive because this is majestic. We absolutely love this tea. It is elegant, soft, and just royal. I have never tasted a tea that was so light but had so much flavor to offer. If it goes on sale I will definitely buy the BIG bag.
This has become one of my husband's favorite new teas! Light flavor and very good.
This is my favorite white tea. Very mellow and gentle and clean.
Taste was too subtle for me. Hard to taste most notes but has grass smell
It’s just perfect white tea without the jasmine smell .
Very light on flavor, a hint floral but otherwise not much to it.
Deliciously flavored white tea that I found to be a great morning tea. Light and mild but still flavorful like many of the white teas I’ve come to love. If you like refreshing teas that give you a nice caffeine boost but are gentle, try this! I made this with 8oz of Keurig brewed water and steeped for exactly 3 mins.
A good tea all around, light and flavorful and balanced.
the champagne of teas, a beautiful tea with a perfect smooth flavor
Silver needle is an lovely white tea, which I really love.
Smooth and clean. A fantastic gentle white tea. It was perfect with a little spearmint mixed in as well.
Great tea for evening. I got 4 infusions out of it.
So light and airy. If I want something warm to sip on in the evening this is my go to.
The scent of this one shifts back and forth between apricot and honeysuckle. The flavor is surprisingly strong for such a delicate and pale brew, but it isn t at all aggressive. There are definite grape or fruit notes, and something mineral and lingering. Lovely. I might try this at the 180 brew point just to see if it changes.
It can be a bit weak when brewing, I recommend adding ectra leaves than you think it will need
It was okay but nothing too special in my opinion. It did have a slightly pine-like flavor which was unexpected but nice, but overall the flavors were very subtle to the point where they were difficult to discern. I may try steeping it for longer or at a higher temperature and see if that helps, but it wasn’t anything nearly special enough to justify the price in my opinion
Tea was very weak. Basically, you re paying double the price as many other better teas, and it s just fancy water.
Very pale straw with maybe a greenish tint. Aroma is as light as the color, and had hints of both green and black tea. Flavor was also faint, but tended more towards black tea, followed by floral or apricot notes. After brewing, it looked like perhaps my teaspoon was too small. On a more positive note, I didn't detect any off-flavors.
I don't know much about tea. I just know what I like and don't like. I usually like green tea. White tea is new to me, and the first one I tried was silver needle. I don't know how to describe it except as having a good kind of bitterness that isn't overpowering, though I don't know if bitterness is the right word. Probably not. At any rate, it's something I like. Worth trying if you're curious.
At first sip I was ready to dismiss this one because I could barely taste it, but further into the cup I got a light sweetness and a savory undercurrent. With the flavor being so subtle, I don t think this will ever become a go-to for me, but maybe, as with other teas I didn t 'get' at first, this one will eventually become a favorite. Only time will tell.
Smooth and delicious! More subtle than many other teas, but far from bland.
Gorgeous looking white tea that is far from subtle. I like snow bud for its delicacy, but this white tea is more earthy, and a stronger tea body as presented in its steeping. Something I order all the time, and is a great introduction (esp. for non white tea drinkers) to white teas, or the subtleties and complex flavors that can only be appreciated with white teas.
Nice flavor, my go to hot tea. It also pairs well with Dragonwell in an iced tea mix.
Really good quality tea. I love silver needle and this one is a really good quality with lovely taste.
This is a delicious and smooth tea that has excellent flavor. It is going to become a new favorite tea in our house .
A clear, pleasant white tea. I enjoy this paired with rose petals.
I like this, but I wasn't as impressed as I was hoping to be given my friends recommendation. It's a nice light flavor, but doesn't pack as much punch as I expected.
Amazing! It is expensive so I save it for special days.
