My favorite from Adagio hands down. Pricey but worth it.
Silver Needle white tea is among the most revered of Chinese teas. Gathered only for a few days in early spring, a dedication to perfection is evident in the pale, ivory-colored liquor. Delicately honeysuckle floral, with a warmed sugar sweetness.

My favorite from Adagio hands down. Pricey but worth it.
A great white, obviously. To make the cost more palletable, i add in some white pear.
The only reason I'm not giving this a perfect score is the price. The tea is great- smooth, sweet. I enjoyed it, no doubt. Just not worth the price, in my opinion.
A quality and delicate flavour. Treat yourself today!
I'm a fan of black teas however this is my choice afternoon tea when I want to cut back on caffeine.
Very light, needs to steep even more than the recommended 7 minutes, IMHO. This is a favorite with my 9 year old, who isn't normally crazy about tea.
A very good tea with a very subtle taste. Not for those who want a lot of flavor.
This is a very good tea. I didn't think that I would like white tea, but I have been very pleased with this one. It is good, but expensive.
This is a very unique tea. The first is its smell, which is very similar to many greens. However, the taste is anything but. It has a very smooth taste that cleans the palette and has no after taste. Very interesting to say the least.
I love this tea, either the way it is or mixed with a small amount of something fruity. Very clean and delicate flavor. Will be buying more for sure.
White tea is not my favorite, but this one is good.
Adagio's Silver Needle is exquisite. Beautifully subtle but bold in a white-tea way. Expensive, but well worth it!
Smooth, buttery, fresh, sweet.. such a complex, but clean, tea. I hate the fact that this costs so much. Otherwise I'd easily be drinking it everyday.
Silver needle is the best tasting of the white teas. It has a clean pure taste. f you like a tea that has a clean taste then go with White needle. I own the Zarafina tea maker and it just makes even better. I highly recommend it.
I add a little of this to all my teas to get the great benefits of this white tea! Dosen't change the taste of the other teas.
Nice, light flavor. I'm not really a fan of green teas but will drink it on occassion.
Wonderful aroma and delicious (but extremely subtle) taste. Like a very light oolong, with none of the bite of oolong.
Very expensive but worth it. Has a very sweet taste.
Very delicate flavor. Was afraid of oversteeping but I think I may have understeeped. Overall, a smooth tea to appreciate.
Let me start by saying that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tea!!! This was my very first time trying any type of White Tea, least of which, Silver Needle. I cannot rave enough about this tea. Other reviewers have stated that for their tastes, white tea is not flavorful enough and normally I would agree because I like strong tea; however, this tea is so contradictory in character that it amazes me. Your Silver Needle is complex yet simple. It is delicate in character yet full of flavor. The sweetness to the nose and palate is very delightful. The taste on the tongue and aroma to the nose is sublime and superb. I would absolutely recommend this tea for anyone, no matter what their taste runs! This Silver Needle may seem a little steep to the wallet but it is well worth the money! A DEFINITE MUST BUY!!!
Very light and almost cleansing on the palate. What little underlying flavor it does have taste almost like dry grass? The flavor is so light there is nearly nothing to enjoy.
Subtle taste, but amazing. Although it looks expensive at first glance, this tea is usually good for at least three or four infusions, helping to cut down on the cost. Definitely a tea to spoil white tea fanatics. Heavily recommend this tea IF you like white teas, but those who enjoy bolder flavors will find themselves underwhelmed and possibly disappointed.
Very clean, light taste. Very similar to the white peony but I think I like this one better.
I love the clean green taste of this tea. I actually love the scent just as much. I have given a sample of this tea to my candle for her to make a candle scent for my home to match. I'm a sissy for light teas. I really like that this one will accept any flavor for blending.
OMG. This is fantastic. It's very light (in weight), so I use two teaspoons for each 8 oz. cup. I enjoy it iced, with a little less honey than normal. My wife and I find it refreshing!
This is a very light, clean flavor. Perfect for discriminating palates!
My favorite white tea. It has a lot of flavor as long as you let it steep enough. I like the sublte buttery flavor it has.
My favorite white tea so far- nice and soft- wonderful in the afternoon.
I thought the price was a little too high. I was wrong. Now I'd gladly pay for this tea. Subtle, mellow tone. Not unlike the highest-grade Korean green tea(Woojeon) I had once. Recommended for those who look for a subtle and complex flavor.
I bought a small sample (because that was all my wallet could afford haha) but wow is it worth what you pay for! Loved it and definitely hope to buy some more in the future.
Silver needle is a delicate and complex white tea. It needs to be prepared carefully to avoid destroying the subtle flavors. When prepared correctly, it is rich and buttery, tickling the tongue and delighting the palate. It's like drinking summer sunshine.
I think its a little dry, not too impressed with it.
I tried this tea as a sample, and I think it's just not strong enough of a flavor for my tastes.
A lovely, subtle tea. I found that the initial steep was better with lower temperatures (160-170F rather than the recommended 180).
A solid SN, it can steep way longer. It's very sweet, and low bodied.
Not a fan of this type of tea at all. The flavor smells and tastes poor.
Amazing white, tasted especially good with a little honey and iced. Buying more.
I absolutely love this tea. It is worth the price hands down.
I laughed so hard when I opened this tin because I had (nervously) read all the reviews and I remembered the one that said 'looks like hay, taste like hay, smells like hay' it DOES look and smell like hay but it doesnt taste like it! its rather good, and im not a big white tea fan.. however its a little pricy and i dont think ill order it again...
Oh my what can I say...I absolutely adore this white tea! I do brew it longer than 5 min. 6 or 7 work best for me. And do make sure the temp is 180 or lower. A slight earthy flavor I would say. Just so smooth and with all the health benefits you can't go wrong! Also I mix this in with my other teas with success Fabulous!
NEEDLEss to say, this is the queen of all white teas. Only thing it's kind of expensive. If you don't want to spend so much on a good tea like this one, I'd recommend White Peony since I find the taste similar to silver needle.
This tea was not what I expected. I might just not be a fan of plain white teas; this one was dissapointing. Smelled like hay, tasted like hay. Im not quite sure where the sweetness was either.
This is a fantastic white tea. It definitely is worth the price.
very light and fluffy with regards to taste. refreshing and relaxing.
Great! Just as good as Teavana's. We like it strong, so we used the entire sample tin and let it brew for 10 minutes. Tasted great and we were able to brew it 3 more times with the same flavor.
This tea is very tasty, but probably not tasty enough to justify the cost. For my money, I'd prefer the white peony tea from adagio.
One of the best white teas I have tried. The flavor is great.
Excellent white tea. I drink this almost daily, it is so good. Unique flavor, sublime.
There is just something about the delicate flavor of the tea that keeps me coming back for more. It's subtle, but oh-so-comfortable!
This is the bomb. What a beautiful white tea. So innocent and powerful.
