Too weak for my taste, but I'm not a connoiseur, so my palate probably can't appreciate it's delicate flavor.
Silver Needle white tea is among the most revered of Chinese teas. Gathered only for a few days in early spring, a dedication to perfection is evident in the pale, ivory-colored liquor. Delicately honeysuckle floral, with a warmed sugar sweetness.

Too weak for my taste, but I'm not a connoiseur, so my palate probably can't appreciate it's delicate flavor.
A great white tea. My personal favorite. I usually only drink this occasionally in the afternoon (or when I get sick). Not thte cheapest tea in the world, but it has a nice smooth taste. I will be making some ice tea out of silver needle this summer.
It's pricey but a great white tea. A distinctive smooth flavor.
This tea is great. It became a favorite right after the first cup. Definitely will order more.
I'm not much of a plain water drinker but with this I can drink in all day. It has a smooth feel to it. I'm not sure if it just me but there is a light waxy coat I can taste. (I hope it coats my insides from all the chemicals in food, lol) Which is why I can rest assure that its not just the rumors but study must be true. This tea is said to have tons of healing properties. Im going to keep on buying and its a new fav.
It's okay for what it is, but white teas just don't do it for me.
Just received my silver needle in the mail today and i immediately brewed a cup of this. I am sipping on it right now and I must say, its very good. A very subtle flavor that isnt over powering or too bold. Its also naturally sweet, so adding any sugar would be a waste and ruin its great flavor. Definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys white tea.
This is a really good tea. It has a light, almost meaty flavor (sounds kinda gross as regards tea, but really good), that there is probably a name for, but I don't know it. Makes a great afternoon cup, or morning if you prefer low caffiene all day. It's similar to the white monkey, which I also like a lot, but a bit cleaner.
I did not like the silver needle at all. It made me feel sick to my stomach. I much prefer my Oolong #8 over this tea.
Not really my kinda of tea has a kinda after taste to it not sure on it really..
This is my favorite tea. The way it makes me feel, the taste.. the excitment, everything about this tea is perfect. After the sampler I had to order more, I feel healthier, happier and thankful to have it.
Nice delicate flavor. The tea leaves were good for a total of 3 infusions and the third infusion still had the same level of flavor as the first infusion. The higher cost of this tea is a bit offset by the number of infusions.
Very light, clean, refreshing with a subtle taste. Great anytime you a looking for something light. This quickly became a favorite of mine and will be a staple at my house. You will easily get multiple infusions from this high quality tea.
This is the first white tea I've tried, and I am completely thrilled with it. It has a subtle flavor that will not impress those looking for a robust tea, but I find its lightness very approachable for many different tea-drinking situations. To anyone else looking to try white tea for the first time, this is a fabulous choice.
This tasted very weak to me, and lacked character. But I'm not much into white teas.
What can I say? Silver needle makes me feel like the young lady that I used to be.
A truly sublime white tea. This is probably the beast white I've ever had.
This silver needle is a very good white tea with a light delicate flavor and a sweet finish. However, the White Symphony has everything I like about the silver needle, plus a little more body, flavor, and sweetness. For the price, I'd take the White Symphony any day.
I love this silver needle tea. And I need to order some more! It has a light flowery, peachy kind of taste. A very good white tea.
Took several cups before I felt I could give this tea a fair shake. The flavors are nice, but just too subtle for my taste. Plus you have to use a considerable amount of leaves per cup and that starts to get pricey. Ill reach for the White Peony when a need a afternoon white. Still...Its the only needle your doctor would recommend you main line.
This is a fantastic white tea. I'm not one for white teas, but a friend of mine came to visit and I ordered this for him to try. It has a fantastic smell, color, and flavor, and it's made me open up to trying more white teas.
A must buy. Earthy, mild, salacious, outrageous!
A very subtle flavor. even for white tea. I brewed it again with twice as much tea and it turned out lovely. I also tried it with a bit of jasmine and it has a nice, delicate nature.
this is a mild tea that leaves you with a clean aftertaste.
HEALTH CARE FOR ALL.
I love this tea, beautiful, settle and gentle. This tea is great at anytime, day or night. It's very relaxing and easy going on the pallet.
This really is a wonderful white tea. The flavor is subtle and delicate, great with or without sugar. Can't recommend it enough.
I absolutely LOVE this tea! I had tried another Silver Needle years ago, but never had it again. It's very light and flavorful, and does not need any sugar or sweetener at all. Delicious any time of day!
this tea has a very earthy sort of taste while still remaining on the light side of flavoring. with its mild flavor this makes for a quick cup while on the run or to wind down after a long day before bed without risking a cafine high.
My favorite tea, the go-to for a little relaxation in the middle of the day.
Good stuff when you want a light white tea. I'll be getting more.
Very light and mild for my taste. Still a good tea though for anyone who enjoys a subtle white tea.
Decent Silver Needle. Slightly sweet flavor, not very aromatic. I was able to get 3 quality infusions out of it (3 mins at 180F). My sample contained a noticable amount of broken leaves.
Honestly, not my favorite silver needle. With its soft delicate green bean aromas it is basic, and it doesn't demonstrate any subtle fruity notes or sweeter notes like cotton candy/caramelized sugar that I expect from a quality silver needle.
Thought I'd give a white tea a try. Can't say I really liked it one way or another. Flavor is too mild for me, but I guess that's just white tea. If you're into that sort of thing, what flavor is here, is good.
A very nice white tea, probably my favorite. Beautiful clear flavors.
White teas take a little getting used to. This one is very mild but with a definite 'greenish' taste. Takes a good 5 minutes to brew.
A simple green tea with pleasant flavor. I like mixing it with heavier flavored teas like vanilla greeen and white peach.
This tea is fantastic! Light, super sweet flavor, with grassy and vegetal tastes, smooth with a wonderful smell. I just wish it wasn't so expensive!
Nice mild tea, perfect for iced tea on a hot summer afternoon.
Green tea cleared up my problem skin nicely, so I figured if white tea is supposedly higher in antioxidants and other health benefits, why not drink it instead? I don't mind the subtle taste of this tea, but to be honest, I probably would continue drinking it 3X a day even if I hated it for the reasons outlined above. Maybe next time, I'll try peach or blueberry flavored white tea.
This tea has a smooth taste. It's very distinct too. I absolutely love it. I had purchased it because it looked almost identical to a tea a fellow coworker had suggested to me. I believe he called his silver tip. I purchased this for my significant other. I'm totally getting a batch of my own next time.
My number 2 tea. This has an incredibly complex yet immeniently light flavor with strong natural sweet tones and almost no bitterness. It is expensive, but it is worth it to treat yourself to this tea. If you like delicate teas this is the one for you.
While I enjoyed the silver needle very much, I don't think it exactly lived up to the hype. May have been as I purchased it off-season. I'll buy some more when the next batch comes in and give it another go.
This is a really good, simple white tea. It is a bit pricey but one of my favorite white teas.
I use this to mix with other teas, especially oolongs and herbals. Strictly for health reasons. The tea alone tastes like mild, flavored water.
This is the best White tea I've had. It's a bit pricey, but it is worth it. Very light flavor. Great for when you want tea, but don't want anything strong.
Extremely clean taste, one of the smoother teas available.
This is my favorite white tea thus far...it's subtle and delicate, but very smooth. I suggest multiple steepings for slightly different tastes.
A very good tea. Not my favorite but would order it again.
A very light tea with a mild taste. It tastes good when mixed with some of the flavors as well.
