A nice light flavor with some grassiness, but it isn't overpowering. Good for any time of day.
Silver Needle white tea is among the most revered of Chinese teas. Gathered only for a few days in early spring, a dedication to perfection is evident in the pale, ivory-colored liquor. Delicately honeysuckle floral, with a warmed sugar sweetness.

A nice light flavor with some grassiness, but it isn't overpowering. Good for any time of day.
This tea was different but I would try it again. Not one of my favorites but ok.
I revisited this tea recently and love it completely. The aroma it gives off can only be compared to a meadow coated in dew. Theres floral and grassy scents, and it seems all too fresh. Love this tea and sharing it with friends now.
This is my favorite tea. It has a mild taste even if I overstip it.It doesn't get bitter. I drink it iced or hot.
bright and green-tasting with light floral notes. i can definitely see why silver needle is considered a big deal!
Silver needle is a great tea, clean and wonderful in the afternoon. A bit pricey but worth it!
I love the sweet flavours that such a delicate leaf can lend. This one provides a smooth, gentle cup.
this is a really great tea. It was my first time buying loose leaf and I was surprised how much better this was then tea bags or bottled tea. I drink it for the antioxidants and I have noticed it to have a calming effect. I add in a teaspoon of raw honey and squeeze some lemon juice in.
My favorite tea, yet! Soft, smooth, light,
WONDERFUL white tea. I actually can drink this very close to bedtime without much of a caffeine kick. Smooth, very clean flavor. Great as a 'first' white tea for those looking to branch out from black tea. I steep 1-2 heaping teaspoons for five minutes in the Ingenuitea.
This tea is very subtle in both aroma and flavor, yet very balanced. It tastes of fresh vegetables and brews to be perfectly clear. One of my favorite teas thus far
Adagio's Yin Zhen is great. Not the best I've ever had, but always more than adequate. Good quality
Simply put: my favorite. When I first tried it, it changed my whole outlook on teas.
A very subtle floral and vegetal flavor. Delightfully mild.
i don't like this alone, but it is a great tea to blend with. we currently blend it with the white peach and it make a great cup
I love Silver Needle tea. It has a nice smooth quality and is somewhat sweet. A good relaxing cup is great to settle down with.
i was surprised at the earthyiness of this tea. for me, it is average. my mother in law likes it though, you may have a new customer in her!!
This is a very good white tea. It has a very light flavor and slightly 'earthy' undertones. I enjoyed it very much and I think anyone who enjoys white teas will too.
Not as much flavour as I would like, though I am new to white tea and that may just be how it is
Absolute bliss, great tea for a green tea drinker. This tea has all the best qualities of the finest greens, with no harshness. Add tea liberally, as it brews very lightly.
Good silver needle. I like it hot or iced. Worth checking out..
I've tried this a few different ways - different strengths, different lengths of time when steeping, and I keep getting vaguely flavored hot water.
Amazing, sweet hay like flavor. I'm going to have to get some more!
The first time I find this tea with a distinctive taste as well as a wonderful
I just received my silver needle tea after I ordering it yesterday! I did brew it and it was... excellent. This was my first ever order from adagioteas and I will order again. Jerry P.
Mild taste, delicate flavor...a good choice in white tea.
This tea is at the top of my list. Every time I drink it makes me feel relaxed. I love it.
My absolute favorite. Haven't yet found tea tasting better than Silver Needle.
the recommended temperature on the bag says 195 degrees...i personally think that is too high especially for white teas. i brewed mine at a slightly lower temperature and it came out great. just wish there was a bigger variety of white teas to choose from but this one is definitely going down into the favorites box.
7 minutes at 170 degrees will give you a mellow and delectable brew. It will rebrew at least once and give you a very good second go around.
This tea is ok. Not bad if you blend with other teas.
Downy and soft-tasting, this tea is light and has some pleasant floral undertones.
This is awesome tea! It is smooth and light - a great afternoon tea.
One of my favorite teas, definitely recommend. It is incredibly smooth and light and has a hint of sweetness.
Awesome White Tea. I have had Silver Needle tea from several other Tea Shops but this was the best. I like white tea in general but the Silver Needle has an aroma and taste that makes me look forward to my first cup of tea in the morning. Besides the awesome tea, Adagio had my order to me by the next day. Great Tea and Great Service, looking forward to experimenting with the other white teas from Adagio.
For me this is simply the best tea around. The flavor is wonderful and subtle. It is very low in caffeine and high in anti-oxidants. Even someone extremely sensitive to caffeine would be able to enjoy this tea.
I love this tea, it is great for drinking and reading a book with. just watch out, it puts me to sleep sometimes.
This is a wonderful tea, the flavors are very subtle though. Personally, I prefer the bolder flavors of pai mu tan, but this tea is delicate and understated and absolutely delicious.
I tasted silver needle from another vendor before and I was not impressed. So I was taking a gamble by purchasing silver needle from Adagio, and the gamble was highly successful. This silver needle is a lot flavorful than I was expecting. It was fresh, floral, earthy, and slightly sweet without adding anything. If it wasn't for my budget, this tea would be a regular staple in my apartment. Awesome white tea!
Wonderful light stone fruit notes and a great sweet aftertaste, a really great tea!
Delicate flavor. slightly sweet almost a honey flavor.
This was my first foray into white teas and it was fantastic. Whatever you do, don't skimp on the tea. Was able to brew the same leaves 3 to 4 times with no discernible loss in flavor.
A light and delicate flavor. Great as an after dinner treat.
Not what I expected. I think I am more of a fruit/herbal fan.
A superb white tea particularly well suited to multiple infusions. A great choice if you prefer a more subtle flavor.
One of my favorite teas. I enjoy the ease of using the teabags.
This tea is so delicate and light, but it doesn't taste weak. Very good if you're not looking for a really heavy, strong tea.
Nice subtle white tea. Good alone but can also be blended with other teas. You won't notice it much when blended but will give the tea an antioxidant boost.
I drink this in the afternoon at work. I restate about four times adding some additional time each Brew. It has a really nice mouth feel.
best nighttime tea ever. better to not be stingy on the quantity of leaves - 2 heaping teaspoons per cup
