Very nice tea. Subtle and pure in taste. One of the cleanest tasting teas I've bought.
Silver Needle white tea is among the most revered of Chinese teas. Gathered only for a few days in early spring, a dedication to perfection is evident in the pale, ivory-colored liquor. Delicately honeysuckle floral, with a warmed sugar sweetness.

Very nice tea. Subtle and pure in taste. One of the cleanest tasting teas I've bought.
Method: Gongfucha with 5 grams to 100 ml of water with no rinse.
This tea brewed first very light. Slightly fruity on the first infusion. In the third infusion on, there was a very strong taste and smell of apricots. This tea is very nice, but its price is beyond me for now, this sample was, however, exquisite. (I forgot to review before I ran out of tea! :( )
This was a good white tea. Although I am finding as I try more teas that I partial to oolongs.
This one was alright. I've never been able to enjoy white tea very much, but it has an interesting light flavor.
too some on the first night getting it with my mom and when we both woke up we were feeling a lot better with our cold
Just a very 'clean' cup of tea
-without the fruit- that I normally enjoy
Light, refreshing. Needed a bit more 'zing' for me though.
My first white tea ever, and I'm not sure another will do. Absolutely perfect. Light, but tasty.
This was my first encounter with silver needle and I really enjoy it. It was great while I was writing a paper
Tried this in the store, and just had to take some home. Light and refreshing, not as overpowering as green tea.
The most pure and exceptional white tea available in my opinion. No flavors, no treatments, just pure white tea. The flavor profile is slightly vegetal and very mild and mellow. It has sweet undertones and finishes dry. Love!
This silver needle tea produces a very sweet cup of tea. A very pleasant floral scent accompanies this tea with a lingering after taste that is very pleasant. Adding a little flavored white tea with this silver needle will make this an antioxidant power house.
Silver needle is probably my favorite of the white teas. I could drink this all day long!
One of my absolute favorite teas. very light, very delicate, and very tasty! A wonderful relaxation treat.
Smooth, very smooth. Almost scentless, the colour is gorgeous. I shared a pot with a friend that loves White teas. We steeped it for about 5-8 mins, paired with some tea biscuits it was a nice pick me up after a tiring morning.
Verrry mild rosemary flavor. No bitterness. Best white I've ever had.
Very soft and light, one of my favorites for nighttime when I want something warm but don't want the full caffeine and heavy taste of darker teas. Delish!
Just all around good white tea. I drink a whole pot of this tea at a time.
Enjoying my first cup of Silver Needles. Wow. I'm usually a Black Tea fan, but this is so light and airy. It has very subtle hints of sweetness and earthiness. A very enjoyable cup.
This tea was much better than I thought it would be. Pretty sweet, in my opinion and, I don't believe it needs a sweetener.
Adagio recommendation to brew at 195 is just too much. Generally, white tea should be brewed around 175. 195 will burn the leaves and fade the flavour.
It has fructose scene and gives imaginary silky sweet flavour (general trait of white tea). Very gentle taste, actually the most gentle among all white tea.
Favorite of my family: very sweet and floral white tea. It's certainly the best tasting white tea offered by Adagio. I think it is better in taste than the Master's version (but not in overall quality).
Delicate without being insubstantial. It has a naturally sweet nectary floralness that feels both like and unlike other white teas I've tried, with the powdery floral finish lingering somewhat. A lovely tea.
I saw that this tea was rated extremely highly, so I wondered what the hype was about. I decided to order a sampler for myself and I have to say that it was probably the finest white tea I've tasted.
I have always loved a good white tea. But this one out does all the other. It has a sweet, very light flavor to it. I could drink cup after cup of this all day long. Definitely a must try for anyone looking to sample a lot of teas like I do. Thank you again for putting out such great tea Adagio!
This is the best tea I have ever had (as it should be given the price). Green tea use to be my go to evening tea (I love drinking tea while reading after work), but this is now my new go to. And to think I used to believe white tea had no flavor. Silver needle has all the flavor of a great green tea without any of the down sides (bitterness, broccoli-ness, etc).
Ahhh, my first white tea, and I must say, that it was quite lovely.. The flavour was pretty mellow with a little hint of citrus, perhaps. Must have again.
Silver needle never disappoints when it's ordered from Adagio. I had one from a cheaper online store and it was just powdery dried up. Both orders I got from Adagio were fantastic, and I take tea steeping to a scientific level.
Really nice tea. Subtle, delicate but sophisticated flavors.
The silver needle white tea general review is on the mark with the drinking experience I have had with it. The first cup had the fullest flavor of slight sweetness with a soft, almost fruity essence to the palate. I steeped the same leaves five over the day and a continued tastefulness, albeit weakening with every cup, impressively prevailed until the fifth. The saturated leaving buds were extremely physically robust. Steeping temperature with this white tea should be more around 185 F. Health-minded tea drinkers must opt for this along with the green teas.
Light, clean and refreshing, with just a subtle hint of sweetness. I would probably buy this again.
I'm not a huge White tea fan, this was sent as a free sample by Adagio, but it's really pretty good.
This is my favorite tea from Adagio. It's very pure and healthy, and I can really taste the 'honeysuckle' flavor. I love white tea, and I'm grateful to have found this new complex tasting addition to my life.
Lovely and light, sweet and soothing. Never bitter. I find it requires a longer brewing time than specified. 8 grams brewed 7 minutes at the mid-range white tea setting on the utiliTea kettle for a 15oz. mug is my preferred. No sweeteners added as it would overwhelm the subtle flavors of this tea. I just received a new order, brewed up a cup and this latest batch was ever so slightly more vegetal, less sweet and with a more buttery mouthfeel than the last. My last batch withstood multiple infusions (up to 4) with a great cup had on each.
Wonderful white tea. The jasmine silver needle just ever so slightly nosed this one out of first
Amazing tea my favourite! It gives me energy for the whole day and helps with digestion.
Excellent. Strong flavor you'd expect from a quality green tea, but cheap in price. This also withstands multiple brews very well.
OMG! This is by far one of the best teas I ever tried. It was my firs time drinking white tea. Kudos to the sales person at the Adagio retail store in Naperville for the recommendation. My co-workers loved it too.
Really healthy tea. One may notice that it is very hard to make the taste of the leafs come out though.
Ok honestly this is the first time ive tried white tea so i only gave this a good. But that said ithos tea was a suprise it was light and very refreshing i was kinda shocked i will be trying other white tea.
Very nice delicate white tea. A hint of sweetness makes this tea an all day delight!!
Opening the bag, silver needle smells like strong herbal/leafy tea. After letting it seep and pouring it into my mug, it mellows out and smells like weak green tea. It has a very delicate and subtle flavor. Almost like a green tea but not. I think I should have let it seep longer...
Too light for my tastes... I barely notice that it's tea. People sure do go crazy over this! But it's not bad if that's what you're into.
Another fantastic white tea. It's Light but complex taste is easily missed by those too busy to appreciate it.
Very light and crisp taste. One of the best white teas I have tried. It's not too fruity or floral. Just tastes like excellent white tea.
This tea is like magic in my mouth! I am new to white teas and bought this based on the health benefits. I had no idea I would love it so much! I wake up looking forward to this tea now, instead of the coffee I have been drinking for years.
This was delicious, very subtle but was good, was nice and smooth, was good too when I added a little wild strawberry to make it a little tart.
I want to love white tea, but I am just not 'there' yet. I just might not have the refined taste buds necessary to truly enjoy these light and delicate flavors. However as whites go, this one is better than most.
This tea isn't awful, but it just isn't as interesting to drink for me. I prefer stronger black teas I guess.
Worth the price - this is a great tea morning or night
