I love Silver Needle, I have been drinking it for years. It is my occasional cup of tea.I like to brew it a bit hotter and a bit longer than recommended to bring a bit of strength of taste to it.
Silver Needle white tea is among the most revered of Chinese teas. Gathered only for a few days in early spring, a dedication to perfection is evident in the pale, ivory-colored liquor. Delicately honeysuckle floral, with a warmed sugar sweetness.

One of my absolute favorite teas! (Besides Jasmine silver needle!) Very soothing to drink while hot but my favorite is to drink it cold.. Because the taste is so light it simply just refreshing! I love it! :)
The first time I tried this I wasn't as excited but after several tries I have grown to love this tea. I love taking it after a good dinner.
Very different taste to me but not bad I did enjoy this one a lot. I loved it more without sugar its better plain but we all do have different taste.
Since this tea isn't a bold or highly caffeinated brew, I like to drink it when I'm relaxing or winding-down for the night. It is absolutely perfect for this purpose and has therefore filled a niche in my personal tea cabinet.
Ah, silver needle - the only tea I have to own its own reserved canister. Lovely, delicate and goes with most every mood. It is my ultimate favorite and just sipping a cup is uplifting and soothing at once.
Have ordered from other sites but the best quality thus far have been from here.
Silver Needle is a very mild tea, but is still flavorful and delicious.
My first silver needle however I like to drink it with my dinner. Very nice light tea to drink in the afternoon.
I don't care much for this tea. It tastes like a combination of those vegetable potato chip things, and hay. I could drink it, but it's expensive, and I probably won't buy it again. Far too pricey.
This tea has a really nice light, clean taste. The smell always reminds me of edamame though. Like others have said, the price may seem high but you'll be able to resteep it.
This tea was very good. It is a bit pricey but by far the best white tea I've ever tasted. Very subtle pale liquid with a bit of fruity taste to it. Loved it.
This was my first 'pure' white, with no additional flavor and I really liked it. I did have to steep it at a higher temperature as my first try it was too weak. Also, I was able to get three infusions out of it before it started to lose it's potency. It's very delicate which is exactly what I would expect out of a white tea, but still had good flavor.
the taste of this tea is wondrful. It is one of the bestive tried
Great tea. Subtle flavor as expected and as I was seeking. Would purchase regularly.
There's not much to say about this tea. It's the best of it's category.
This is my comfort-tea, actually, and it's the one I keep on gift-wish-lists since it's relatively expensive but I always want some on-hand. I definitely like the purity of Silver Needle's taste. It isn't mixed with anything so that light, faintly sweet white-tea taste comes through, but it also isn't too light. It has some body to it, it's just a very delicate body, and I really enjoy that.
This white tea is quite light and refreshing, I can't see anything to complain about.
I feel like the reviews really hyped this one. It was ok but not something I can see myself reaching for regularly
Nice smooth cup. Just finished the 5th brew and hope to get a few more.
a very lovely tea. I enjoy inhaling the subtle flavors. About a teaspoon gets me 2-3 cups, with no loss of flavor.
I had this idea that I didn't care for white tea because I prefer deep, richly flavoured teas. Then I discovered that 'real' white tea (vs that found in tea bags in the grocery store) is a remarkable, subtle, and beautiful treat. Silver Needle is my first 'real' white tea. I love it and I can't wait to try many more.
Very pure and sweet. I steeped it in my yixing pot and it just added to the experience. If you never tried white tea in yixing I suggest you do!
The best tea. I wish it was an actual needle so I could stab myself to death after drinking the most glorious cup. Life would end wonderfully.
I love the silver needle. This and my green tea is my go to. Fresh, clean and very tasty.
Nice tasting tea and just so unique and beautiful -- very good!
This tea has magnificent health benefits and makes me feel as if i could climb mountains after drinking it.
I love nothing more than sitting down with a cup of silver needle tea after a hard day at work.
When paired with white blueberry and white symphony together they are a good substitute for my favorite white blend Daily Happiness. It's how I like to start my mornings. Smooth and pleasant tasting as a blend.
This is heavenly. The scent reminded me of raisins for some reason, and it tasted so fresh. I love it but I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I guess you have to pay for quality! (The good news is that it can be re-steeped a few times without losing flavor.)
one of my husband's favorites but not always available
Wonderful, light flavor. Refreshing and relaxing. Re-steeped 3 times
nice cup of tea. brewed and enjoyed hot. thank you.
So delicate. I love how light the tea tastes, with a hint of sweetness.
This tea is light, smooth, and delicious! Make sure not to over brew because it will taste bitter. Highly recommended!
Probably my all-time favorite of any tea. Good to have on hand when not a lot of caffeine is desired. Hearty flavor but also slightly sweet. Leaves arrive from Adagio whole and not broken up.
A good standard. Great flavor. Reliably pleasurable.
My first white tea and I thought it was good, possibly great but to date, I have no comparison to make. I got 3 to 4 steeps.
Very nice subtle flavor that isn't overpowering but present enough to give your tastebuds an experience.
sweet smell and subtle sweet taste. Will reorder.
This wasn't what I expected. I'm glad I only bought a sample...not really my cup of tea (to be cliche). Wasn't strong enough for me. Its a very mild flavor.
A nice tea with a nice clean flavor.
I thought that this white tea was very pleasant. Seeing as I have not had another silver needle to compare it to I can't quite give it a great rating just yet.
I love this tea when I want to relax. Expensive but well worth it.
Almost had an earthiness I was not expecting, but was pleasantly surprised by. Very good when piping hot. I drank the whole kettle over several hours unsweetened as it was flavorful, but light of body. This was also my first White Tea experience, and it has had me coming back for more.
The shape of this tea is so elegant! The fragrance is too!
Absolutely wonderful tea, and probably the best white tea offered on this website besides the masters variety. If you are willing to pay the extra price it is very clearly a step up from white peony and white symphony. Being that I cannot, I will continue to drink white peony, which is still a very good white tea. Steep at 170F for 5 minutes, and add a minute for each addition infusion.
This tea is just as good as everyone is saying! I tried it quite some time ago, so I can't recall specifically how it tasted, only that it was well worth the price.
Light, sweet, and refreshing. I will definitely have to get more.
One of my really favorite teas. Very smooth with a very pleasant taste and with great antioxidant qualities. This along with gyokuro and genmai cha are my favorite teas.
Silver Needle tea has a light, clean flavor. While the health benefits are fantastic and the flavor is nice and sweet... I know I am unable to spend so much money on a daily tea so I need to find the next best thing. If you have the money to drink this every day, you should. And I envy you. For the rest of you who need a less expensive, everday white tea- try White Peony.
