Excellent white tea with a very clean taste and pleasant cucumber taste.
Handpicked fine silvery down bearing buds from carefully reared tea bushes in the Fuding area of Fujian, China.

Excellent white tea with a very clean taste and pleasant cucumber taste.
I wanted to see what an expensive tea was like. Lets just say, it wasn't my cup of tea.
A delicate floral tea that floats across the tongue and leaves a pleasant memory of peach blossoms. Best enjoyed alone - I discovered to my regret that food will override its whispery flavors.
This is my all time favorite tea. It instantly makes me happy. The flavor is rich and smooth, and changes with subsequent steeping, always giving off a new surprising note. I steep it both the Western way (then it's good for at least two infusions) and gongfu style (can definitely yield more and does more justice to the high quality of the tea). Also, it's incredibly pretty. Am I in love?
I really enjoyed this tea, and while it took a little work to figure out the right brewing temperature and amount, it was definitely worth it in the end.
Just not a good tasting tea! Wanted to like it, wouldn't order again
Not quite what we were expecting. A pleasant tea, but lacking the richness or refined flavor we were expecting from a tea of his quality.
Yummy, sultry, delicate tea..so smooth I love it!!!
The color and taste of this tea is just excellent. Very light and delicate taste, beautiful clear color. I make this in my glass teapot just to watch the color change.
Definitely a unique loose tea; Highly recommend everyone try this, if only to discover something new and slightly exotic.
Very subtle, pleasant flavor. I brewed my second cup longer than usual to get more of the flavor.
This was much tastier than I thought it might be. All the flavors really did come out, though at different times. There was a great first sip flavor, a great mouthfeel, and then the after. Recommended!
I make this tea when I'm in the mood for something light and mild. It has a good flavor that's not too strong and sits easy in the stomach.
I like this, but I can't say it is worth more than the basic silver needle. Other signature series teas have blown me away, but this one is a bit less impressive given the alternatives.
Great white tea. Amazing flavor and was able to set several steeps with this. I found that honey in this tea really brought out the flavor.
Not what I had expected , thought it would have more favor , I guess just ain't for me
nice white tea with floral notes and can be steeped many times with consistent quality
Nice white tea. Don't brew in too hot a water or it might get bitter.
Nice flavor and complexity. Nice to wake up to and start the day
One of my favorite teas. Perfect for an afternoon cup
If you like silver needle teas, this is just lovely! Delicate and soft, and with that clear distinction that makes you a silver needle lover. It definitely is better if you watch the temperature of the water. I just bought the adagio tea kettle, which has the different temperatures programmed, and it makes a difference. If the water is too hot, it clearly takes away the character of this tea.
Although they have been on my to-try list for some time, I have only started tasting white teas this year and this one is delicious. It has a delicate aroma and taste and, yes, I can detect hints of a melon flavor. I have been enjoying this tea at work. It turns out that our Bunn coffee maker heats water to 180 degrees (I measured it). While this is really low for making coffee and might be one of the reasons I don't like the coffee at work, it is ideal for this tea.
This is lovely, smooth, floral, and great for multiple infusions.
This tea is amazing! After the first cup I decided it will become a main tea kept in the house. If you're nervous about trying a tea like this, don't be. It's perfect.
Very light flavor, probably not worth it in my opinion but still good. As a side note, the tea leaves are VERY soft and fluffy, almost like a fabric.
amazing tea, again I bought the sample when it was on sale and now I will buy a larger order because it is that good and worth the price!
This is one of my favorite teas. Somehow I got away from it.Very refreshing, delicate yet aromatic taste. Very enjoyable as an afternoon refresher.w
I just tried my first cup of this and enjoyed it very much. It has a very light and smooth flavor. I am a bigger fan of more aromatic teas, is the only reason I do not list this as great.
The Fujian silver needle is a nice white tea. It re-brews well once but the second re-brewing seems a little weak so use less water.
I bought this when the masters collection were on sale and it was nearly the same price as the regular silver needle. It was too similar to justify higher price, but great for the sale
Very light, refreshing white tea. Takes silver needle to an entirely new level.
I guess I'm just not a silver needle person. I've tried several varieties, and none of them did it for me. I like the flavored whites a lot better. It came close to watery when steeped at the recommended 3min. 5min did away with that, but I still couldn't taste much, certainly not nuance.
Honeydew melons and honey and milk and cucumber, so delicate, very delicious and light. Silky. Creamy. Great aftertaste.
it's nice. VERY mild and delicate. I steeped this one forever and it still looked like water to me. can barely taste anything in my opinion
This teas was good but i realize i like black tea much better i felt that this tea was very light in flavor
There was a very light and almost slightly floral character to this tea. Had a more subtle flavor than I was expecting, and reminded me slightly of jasmine tea, but even lighter and less tannins due to being a white rather than green tea. Very good for a white tea, leaves were great quality and and still had fuzzy hairs, hence the 'silver needle' name. Although it was great quality leaf pick, I found myself almost wanting a bit of a stronger or more unique flavor. Overall, a good white tea a bit on the clean and light side.
great clean taste... I like regular silver needle just as much though
The smells was a strong fruity impression for me when I first opened it. As for the taste, it was subtle and fruity. The tea is light so it would be suitable for late night drinking for me at least. Some of the leaves in the can were broken though so that's why I didn't give this a full five stars since the tea was supposed to be premium grade.
Got a sample tin with one of my $10 coupons. Its expensive and not really sure the taste justifies the price for me. I didn't notice a dance of the leaves either. That being said. Its a very nice subtle tea.
Very nice mild flavor! Try the sample (tad bit pricey but not bad). It's pretty far good.
Okay, so I fully acknowledge that this is a master tea and a great treasure and so on, and that the problem here is me. That said: ugggggggh, this tea.
I first realized this tea and I would never be an OTP when I smelled it while it was steeping. It smelled like seaweed. Exactly like seaweed. I know I was supposed to get melon and cucumber and all that, but all I got was kelp. When I tasted it -- well, on its own, it tasted exactly like I'd steeped seaweed: very green and salty. However, when I drank it while eating something sweet, the salty taste went away, and I did get a tiny hint of delicate vegetable flavor. It still was not what I'd call delicious, or even entirely palatable, and this tea was honestly best for me when it was nearly indistinguishable from drinking plain warm water.
Visually, the tea is very pretty, with green needle-like leaves (my kid said it looked like grass clippings). That is probably the best thing it has going for it.
I'm going to have to give the rest of my sample away. This tea is Not For Me.
This tea. I loved it. Little bit of sugar. Rich and creamy.
My personal favorite tea. I prefer to brew this Gong Fu style.
This is really great tea. There was no indication of how much to use. The sample size says about ten cups, so I divided it all out evenly into 10 stacks and it came out to 10 teaspoons. I used 1 teaspoon to 8oz and it was great.
One of the best fujian silver needle teas! Love it!
This is a definite upgrade over the regular silver needle. It is a bit pricey but I really enjoyed it.
Very light and herby scent as well as taste. Refreshing flavor that didn't become astringent even after over-steeping (for ten minutes...). A second steep proved just as tasty. This would be lovely iced and with a slice of cucumber.
Very good quality. Delicious tea with great flavor.
One of my top 2 favorite teas. It's subtle yet full taste leave a clean palate so you can enjoy the last sip as much as the first.
If subtlety and nuance are your thing you will want to marry this tea. The flavor is extraordinary but it is by ot's nature easily overwhelmed by honey, sugar or milk.
