I will always have throat therapy in my tea stash. Not only does it sooth a sore throat, which is necessary with my year-round allergies, I love the taste. I'm a fan of licorice, cinnamon, orange, and hibiscus, and they mix wonderfully for my tastes.

A perfect blend of spicy teas that smooth a groggy throat. Hot with honey it is better than medicine.

This is good. I'm not huge on licorice but in tea i found that i seem to like it quite a bit. I'll be having this again.

Very soothing on my throat after a day of allergies. I am able to sleep better after drinking. Usually have a cup about a half hour before going to bed.

Once again, this blend was quite helpful during winder cold season. We always make sure to have some on hand for the next time we need it!

While it does seem to sooth my throat the taste is bland. I will try it again, but it won't be a go to tea.

Adagio never disappoints. Taste Great and it helped me get back to normal. When I need something special or am looking for my standbys I can count on Adagio.

This is one of my wellness staples that I'll drink with honey for a soothing tonic. Whether to stave off a cold, alleviate slight allergy symptoms or heal up after an overzealous karaoke session, this blend does the trick. It can be an acquired taste to some, but I don't find it off-putting as I like many different types of herbal blends.

A nice blend when you're feeling a little unwell. Pleasantly but not boldly minty. Great served hot on a cold day.

★★★☆☆

The slippery-elm is strong in this one! If you're ok with that, then I'm sure that this will be to your liking, but I prefer a little less of that in my throat teas.

★★★★★

Throat therapy tea is a soothing and delicious blend that can help ease your sore throat and boost your immune system. The aroma is sweet and spicy, with notes of licorice, aniseed, cinnamon, and orange. The flavor is smooth and refreshing, with a balance of sweetness, tartness, and warmth. Throat therapy tea is perfect for cold and flu season, or whenever you need a splash of comfort and healing.

I'm putting it down as a four because I'm so confused. I loved it the first day I drank it. And I mean, I drank a lot of it. Over 40 oz of it. My throat was horrible, but when I saw the slippery elm I said, I need to use this. This was one of three teas my mom gave me for this time of year. It worked so well that I was able to go to class for 2 1/2 hours (grad school, stats class). But now it's the 3rd day, using the big bag I bought, and it does not taste the same as the first day. I couldn't get it down and ended up either chugging the cup for the properties, or dumping it down the drain because I can't get past the taste. So guys, my review in simplest terms is this; properties are perfect for a sore and/or dry throat, taste is good, and smell is really good.

Throat Therapy is amazing, actually got rid of my soar throat. I love it and ordered some more; since pollen season is coming.

This is a great tea for when you’re feeling sick. I’ve had it a few times, but I had mostly bought it for my dad, and he swears by it.

★★★★★

This is a delightful tea even when you aren't sick, but the soothing properties are definitely a bonus. This was the one tea from the Cold & Flu Teas sampler box that I absolutely had to buy again. I'm glad to have it on hand to help soothe my throat from illness and seasonal allergies.

Sore throats be gone! The perfect blend to combat any sort of funk. The licorice is surprisingly well balanced by the cinnamon spice and it makes for a lovely cup.

Sorry, I don't like fennel flavor. The fennel is way to present in this cup of tea. If I had a sore throat and didn't have ability to taste anything then I might like it.

A great alternative to Traditional Medicinal's Throat Coat, but with a much better flavor. Adding ginger root to it gives a nice spicy kick.

Enjoyable for a medical tea but not one of my favorites. But I don't much like a few of the ingredients so that's too be expected.

Good for what ails you! Sore throat? Race to heat your cup and enjoy! One dose is great but two is better.

A heavier tea, but perfect for the days for the itch in the back of your throat. I have other days if just want a more full bodied tea.

This ( not medical advice) helped stave off my last cold. I started drinking it as soon as I first felt that back of the throat scratchy feeling.

★★★★★

Deliciously sweet and flavorful! Others have said they tasted a heavy licorice flavor, but I honestly don't pick up on that too much. I think the aniseed is the much stronger note. It really does help soothe your throat. I also have a very finicky stomach, and I've found it really helps settle that too :) Double benefits!

The Throat Therapy tea is the perfect remedy for a sore throat when you have a cold, flu, or seasonal allergies. It is a warm and soothing drink with blends of sweet and fresh raspberry and anise, providing such a comfort when you are feeling run down and tired. I add honey to it as well to help coat my throat. I think the throat therapy is better that the Medicine Ball from Starbucks, and it is a lot cheaper too!

★★★★☆

I honestly couldn't determine the aroma out of the package. After brewing, it takes very much like another brand's bedtime tea.
It's good, but definitely needs sugar.

★★★★☆

Very nice blend. I always wonder how people come up with these blends. The licorice, a nice and slippery elm were the stars of the show. I got hints of the other ingredients. I enjoyed it for the tasting but personally I am not a fan of licorice. The ingredients added their own sweetness and I did not add a sweetener

This tea would be beneficial *if* I had a sore throat. As a 'try it' tea, I really disliked the heavy licorice flavor. Really not my thing.

It's not the worst, but it does have a 'good for you' flavor that isn't something I would reach for while healthy. Taste aside, it does help a scratchy, swollen throat fell better, and is soothing when you are sick.. My four stars are for its ability to make you feel better and relieve symptoms, not the taste.

Perfect blend for those sore throat days!! I love that the herbs are spot on and it doesn't taste medicine(y), or weedy. Just a bit of raw honey makes for a perfect sick season cup!

I agree with the comments that this has strong licorice and anise flavors. It was decently good just not great. It reminded me of the Ricola cough drops which actually uses a herb from the mint family called horehound, which they say taste like a cross between root beer and licorice. Interesting! As far as it's purpose for aiding a sore throat? I'm not sure. But I would definitely grab this if I did have a sore throat.

A soothing tea that I fully believe would be excellent relief for a sore throat. I'm not a fan of licorice or anise, but I didn't mind their presence in this cup. Would have liked the orange or cinnamon flavors to be stronger to balance it out.

Update: I tried this again and the flavor isn't bad. Licorice is dominant with hibiscus in the background.

I wasn't a fan of this. The flavor of cinnamon, aniseed, and licorice was too strong for me.

This tea tasted really good for a good-for-you tea. I didn’t mind drinking this at all. The licorice wasn’t overpowering and there was a nice touch of cinnamon in it. It smelled good too.

This is okay. If it actually helps with a sore throat, I’d drink it. Otherwise, the flavor doesn’t really appeal to me.

★★★★★

Very soothing blend, the cinnamon really brought it all together.

★★★★☆

This isn't a tea I would drink in a non-medicinal fashion, though the taste itself is pleasant enough, if a bit sweet. However, I've had a cold for the past few days, and this tea did in fact soothe the itch in my throat, though only while I was actively drinking it and a little bit after the fact. Overall, it does what it says on the tin!

Well… it certainly smells and tastes like medicine. Somehow this tea manages to be both bitter and cloying, with an unfortunate aspirin-meets-cough syrup aftertaste. Don’t know how it affects a sore throat- I simply couldn’t stomach it.

Edit 2/28/23 - this was much better the second time around. The flavor was pleasant and again, helped out my throat. It was also good relief from spicy food!

The flavor on this wasn’t very strong, but was a nice relief for my throat. I didn’t get the overpowering licorice or anise that others have commented about, just a faint flavor on the back of my tongue. Honey would definitely improve it.

Ok. I cheated and drank this a few weeks ago when I felt a scratchy throat coming on. I can appreciate a good wellness tea when needed. The licorice and anise was not excessively dominant, nor was the hibiscus, hallelujah! I did taste a teeny tiny bit of raspberry leaves, which really didn't need to be there. I added a drizzle of honey to the brew; something I rarely do, but honey is medicine, right? :) This tea served its purpose, it helped stave off a sore throat, but it is not a tea I would sip everyday. There is a time and a place for licorice!
