Excellent and very effective. My friends also love it. This is nice to have as you can drink it any time of the day or in any season.

I'd recently run out of my regular detox tea from Rosemary's Garden, which I've been drinking for years. Because I'd had such great luck trying and loving several Adagio teas recently, I thought I'd try their aptly titled 'Tea-Tox'. The ingredients were similar, and the taste was practically the same (but this one tasted slightly better because of the mint).
Just as potent and you'd expect Adagio teas to be, you can brew this one and store the concentrate in the fridge overnight to add to your water all the next day or throughout the week. Great to flush out your system and cleanse your liver.
This is a new favorite. A lot of different flavors going on, but feels very good.
I drink alot of tea. Thought I might as well try one that will help with detoxing my body from all the fast foods i ve been eating recently.
Definitely an herbal remedy-type tea, it’s perfect for winding down in the evenings. I don’t drink enough of it to get the full benefits, but enjoy an occasional cup. It’s not bitter and does not require any sweetener.
I love the taste of this tea. It does not upset my stomach or anything like that. It just taste like the earth in a good way.
I’ve never tried this before but it’s Delicious!!! Would buy again
Wonderful flavor, soothing and fresh. Doesn't taste bad like other detox teas I've tried
It was good. Not sure if it actually did anything as far as a detox, but it was good.
I really like the flavor of this and the fact it isn't too medicinal tasting.
This tea has a little licorice smell but is calming. I don’t know that I see how it helps “Detox” but it is nice
This tea is refreshing and delicious! I highly recommend it!
Something in this tea did not agree with me. I'm pretty sure that vomiting is not a recommended form of detox.
The taste is quite intriguing. It took me a while to get used to, but now I love it.
This is my go to for detox. Surpasses any other brands I’ve tried.
The best tea to drink in the morning on an empty stomach!! Has a maple flavor I love.
The Tea-Tox is great. It has a small hint of mint and it helps to curb appetite.
I take this tea whenever my stomach is feeling a little upset or bloated. I feel it helps, or at least makes me feel better. The taste is enjoyable, but not something I would drink nightly.
Not bad. I got it for the dandelion root. The ingredients looked good.
This will definitely make you feel better! After just 3 cups I started to feel more energized and healthy! Also it's delicious!
This is a lovely it tastes great. I expected this to taste medicinal but I was pleasantly surprised.
Couldn't do it. Too many flavors going on, which made it a weird mix. This is the taste I associate with all healthy tea, and for me the taste isn't good enough to drink it even for its benefits. (Reviewed through CommuniTEA; 5 min @ 212F)
Part of the April 2021 CommuniTEA box. Spritely and energetic, ready to work its magic!
Tea-tox is a feel good tea. The peppermint flavor is mellow with a hint of cinnamon and mild creamy flavor.
Tastes pretty good, even though I'm not normally a big fan of detox teas.
I only taste chamomile and maybe a tad bit of mint.
Definitely not for me. I'm sure it would be great if you were sick. But it's extremely medicinal. Just not my cuppa tea.
I received a single portion of this tea as a sample as part of the CommuniTEA box. As this is a blended tea, it may be unbalanced compared to a larger portion. On with the review.
The pouch of tea smells medicinal, almost overwhelmingly so. It's somewhat disarming, to be honest. None of the smells in particular pop out, not even the peppermint leaves that usually overwhelm any sort of blend that they're in. Steeping for five minutes at 212 degrees F creates a somewhat golden yellow tea that smells less medicinal, though only marginally so. The taste is interesting, highly herbal with the peppermint coating my mouth in the end. It has a wonderful natural taste to it, almost a natural sweetness without sugar at all.
Overall, this tea is pleasant, and it's easy to see how this tea would be an enjoyable tea to help one feel better when they're sick. The peppermint doesn't overwhelm, and while the other ingredients aren't ones that I would normally think to enjoy, they create a very pleasant tea in general.
This tea unfortunately did not work for me. The leaves smelled like celery when I opened the bag, which was a little bizarre. The tea tastes like a jumbled mishmash of herbs. Not pleasant together unfortunately. It's only redeeming quality is that the ingredients are so healthy. I would definitely not choose to drink it again though.
Really lovely tea, the bag has a very strong smell of Peppermint and you get a hint of the tea with it. When brewed, it's way more balanced in flavor and smell. You get strong flavor of cinnamon up front then the tea and it then leaves your mouth with a soft Peppermint flavor. It rebrews well keeping its balance through the brews.
Interesting combination of ingredients. I was surprised to see bothersome burrs in the ingredients list, but apparently they are drinkable! I always feel good about consuming drinks with health benefits so bonus for that aspect. The tea itself is good and has a clean refreshing mint finish.
Lots of interesting ingredients I wouldn't think to put together. Naturally caffeine-free. I sampled this Tea as part of the CommuniTEA April 2021 Box .
I can't say I like this too much. It's just kind of 'dirty' ttasting, like just kind of muddy and meh.
I feel as if I have to apologize, but I tasted this tea and then tried another 3 sips to be completely sure that I really did not like this! Down the drain it went, life is too short to drink tea that I dislike. I guess there is a reason all these 'healthy' teas need to put that kind of name for it to appeal because it certainly isn't the taste. Blech! Sorry, my Canadian soul feels the need to apologize for a negative review but I also want to be honest! This tea may be tea- tox, but I found it somewhat noxious...sorry.
The name says it all. This tastes exactly as you'd expect a detox tea to taste. The mint was definitely the strongest flavor for me, with a woody, cinnamon flavor in the background. It was perfectly drinkable but not the type of tea I would choose to drink every day. If I had an unsettled stomach, then I can see this doing the trick.
Warm and cozy tea was not what I would have expected from a tea named Tea-Tox. I was pleasantly surprised at the well balance herbal taste. Only a hint of mint in mine and no discernable cinnamon. It's nice to have so many options of herbal teas with a number of health benefits to choose from at Adagio.
Hmm I liked the smell of this one more than the taste. The smell was like cinnamon and licorice, but the taste is dominated by mint and earthy root flavor. The earthiness was just a bit more than I like, and there are other herbal blends that I like a lot more, so I can't see myself buying this one.
I was hesitant at first looking at the ingredients, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients really go well together and had a refreshing taste!
Today's CommuniTea packet was Tea Tox, an herbal blend of burdock, milk thistle, green rooibos, cinnamon, lemon balm, dandelion root & peppermint. The tea brews up a pretty golden color with the expected rooibos dust. I found the aroma somewhat offputting. I adore peppermint and cinnamon, I but couldn't smell either of them. There was a slight aftertaste of cinnamon when you swallowed. If I was to have this again, I think I would try adding either more peppermint or cinnamon. (12 oz of water at 212°F for 5 1/2 minutes.)
Although there is conflicting research on the benefits of burdock and milk thistle, the blend is a pleasant-tasting “herby” tea. I steeped at 212F for 5 minutes and enjoyed it with a bit of honey. Stands up to a second steep, too.
Well. I didn’t HATE it. But really, that’s because I really just didn’t taste much from this. Even though I made a smaller cup than usual, and I got a relatively strong color, I never got much more taste than hot water with a little stevia. I didn’t need to dump it down the drain, but I wasn’t compelled to brew a second steep either.
This was surprisingly good. It doesn't have an overly medicinal or herbal flavor. There is just a light touch of peppermint that I accentuated with a bit of sugar. There is a bit of an earthy flavor but it's not overpowering.
This tea is certainly one of the tastiest herbal health blends I've tried through this site. While I won't be ordering any after trying it through the CommuniTEA it is not for lack of utility or taste. I don't really have a need for a detox tea and wouldn't want to consume a diuretic on a regular basis. I can say it does what it says it'll do and tastes great to boot.
Cinnamon and mint are two of my favorite flavors. I think everything else in this blend works well with them.
Color me surprised - based on the smell, I really thought this was going to be a bad one. It is extremely woodsy and grassy in smell, but once brewed it's definitely tolerable.
Peppermint is the main flavor, though it's milder. Hints of the 'weeds' (burdock, dandelion, etc) are there, but it's not unbearable. Not sure if I'd purposefully reach for this one though.

This is a chonky tea. Lots of interesting ingredients, including some that I don’t think I’ve come across before, namely the burdock & milk thistle.
The mint & cinnamon are most predominant, but there’s an earthiness that I’m not quite fond of - this coming from someone who likes rooibos, so I don’t think that’s the culprit, perhaps it’s the burdock.
I have to say I’m not really into health/detox/cleanse teas. If I’m speaking on flavor alone, it’s not the most offensive tasting health tea I’ve tried, but I don’t think it’s one I’ll be reaching for again either.
Steeped 212F, 5min
This tea, for me, was just ok. Maybe it would be good for an upset stomach, but the cinnamon didn't blend well in my Communitea sample with the other ingredients, although in all honesty I don't know what burdock or milk thistle add to the tea.
I keep a large tin of tea-tox in my personal tea stock. I enjoy the taste. I also drink this on weekends, after a week of teaching or on days that I need it, to provide support and to balance my body. I always sleep very well at night if I drink this throughout the evening. So, I know it's doing something! Great tea to keep on hand. Taste is good. Benefits are great.
This is a nice tea. I honestly liked Speedy Recovery better has medicinal teas go, but this one wasn't bad by comparison
I can't attest to the health benefits of this tea, but I found it tasty with plenty of mint.
