Great tea for when you’re feeling not the best. Overall pretty good tea.
I'm so glad I gave this a try, since it definitely takes my top pick for under the weather tea. It's not too rough on the palate and gives that cozy feeling that you really crave when you're going through a sick spell of any kind. Minty, soothing, and nice to smell for any stuffiness.
Bought this tea as partof a Christmas sampler. We really liked the Speedy Recovery. We even had it when we were not sick.
I ended up buying a 16oz bag. Will definitely have this in kitchen always!!
I enjoyed the flavor of this tea and have shared it with my co workers and they have also enjoyed it. I wanted a tea that I felt would make me feel better and that I am drinking something healthy and something that would aid me when feeling under the weather. This really made me feel better and it is very smooth.
I'm not sure it helps me feel better, but it is a great pick me up when I'm feeling run down and sick. Great taste and soothing.
This tea is a great addition to my wellness tea supply. My daughter recently had surgery and asked for this tea. It's her go to tea for colds, flu, covid, and now surgery. It's comfort in a cup.
Best “cold” tea to have around the house. Tastes good (we add honey for sweetness and health benefits) and helps you feel better. This was the most requested tea by my child during his bout with the flu. (One odd thing, the recommended brewing temp changed from 180 to 212 with this last bag of tea received. So I still brew at 180.)
One of my favorite teas was gone in less than a week!
i've had an upset digestive system all week, not really sick but not great, either. I decided - what the heck - it can't be worse and might feel better. Well - i'm really pleased with this tea. I did add a little honey after trying it without. I like the nice balance of flavors and the peppery mint aroma. It's not strong at all and i'm feeling better, already (because warm tea is a good thing.) This looks like a re-order for me.
Taste is very medicinal, but it does make me feel better (even if this is just a placebo effect).
This blend is great for when you are sick or if you feel like you might be coming down with something. The combination of green tea, ginger, and mint with notes of licorice and fennel and are super comforting!
My sinuses were really acting up and after drinking this tea I felg such relief as my sinuses opened and drained. I'm definitely keeping this on hand
I really like this tea when I’m sick. It has a nice strong mint flavor and I feel like it does help my throat & body feel a little better. It’s a nice low caffeine level to help perk me up a little.
love cardamom, neutral to fennel, hate mint teas. this one was meh to me
A nice green blend and surprisingly a mint tea I can drink and enjoy, the fennel works to mellow the other flavors out a bit, not sure how or why, but I taste it and it seems to work.
Nice tea for a green. The peppermint overshadows the other flavors
I don’t know the effects of Speedy Recovery on TBIs and Brain Tumors, but the tea has a nice balance of spicy, sweet, and minty flavors, and it is really soothing. The peppermint is relaxing, and the ginger ginger bring zing off flavor while the licorice and fennel add a touch of sweetness. The green tea base is not too strong, and it provides a moderate amount of caffeine to keep me alert. I added 1/2 a tsp of raw honey for green tea to enhance the taste and the health benefits. The taste is great, so I should keep it on my shelf and see about long term effectiveness. I let you know.
I am not fond of tea blends that have spearmint or peppermint, so that is the only reason for a 4-star rating - it’s just not my thing. Having said that, at least the mint taste wasn’t overwhelmingly strong. I brewed it at 195 for 3 minutes. If you enjoy teas with mint, you will probably love this one.
This is a tasty herbal blend - the mint is dominant, with the licorice root and green tea being the next most prominent. I didn't notice much fennel or ginger with what was in my CommuniTEA packet. A bit of sugar is a nice addition.
Steeped it longer because I'm a big fan of herby, spicy teas. Mostly I got a lot of mint from it, but the combination of so many different flavors came together in a slightly odd, generally mostly harmonious blend. I did enjoy it! I could see drinking it when I was feeling sick! But I don't think it's an everyday tea for me.
I can't speak to the healing benefits. Mostly, it tastes like peppermint. I don't really notice the licorice and the ginger gives it a little warmth.
I don't put much stock in tea as alternative medicine, but as a regular green tea with herbal infusions, it gets the job done.
I'm not the biggest fan of the licorice taste, but I can see the benefits of this tea when someone isn't feeling the best. I think the taste is interesting, but I'm not the biggest fan of it, despite it being lighter.
This tea is a LOT. Some flavors blend better than others, leaving an overall tangy impression that may help you feel better, but wouldn't be something I'd drink regularly.
mmm not what I expected but really nice. steeped 5 min as directed on packet, boiling water as I don't have a kettle and cant control temp. To me it tastes like a mild green tea with peppermint, and something else I think is the fennel? that's faintly medicinal. Can't taste anything else but don't mind it! Very smooth and soothing.
I don't normally like it when green tea has too many other flavor profiles added to it, but this one was acceptable. The peppermint in my packet was the dominant character, but the fennel began to slowly come thru and made it interesting. Ginger was shy, but the peppercorn picked up the slack. Not a tea I would drink everyday, but still good.
Nice mint and green tea aroma, can't smell the spices from the dry tea. 5-ish minutes @ 165 I forgot to set a timer. Definitely taste mint and get some bite from the ginger. Maybe a hint of bitterness with mild astringency. If it's helping me physically feel better or it's psychological, I'll take the win.
I was pleasantly surprised by this one! I always a some sugar to my tea but this one was nice even without! The mint is so nice! 👍🏻
I like mint tea and have used it when feeling the blahs. This one kicks it up a notch and has many 'good for you' ingredients that blend together well, not medicinal at all.
I liked this green tea with ginger. Most of the other herbs are covered up by the ginger. There was a little mint in the aftertaste, which was very refreshing. This was nice hot and also after my cup cooled off. It would be nice iced.
This tea has a forward taste of mint. I’m thankful that the primary taste is not licorice and/or fennel. I drank the entire cup and it was delicious.
This blend of flavors isn’t my favorite paired with green tea, but I know that isn’t the point of this brew. I bet for most it works great to get your back on track when you are feeling less than ideal. For me, the mint and ginger is just too aggressive. I’m also one of those people that mint doesn’t help; it can actually hurt my tummy and sometimes even make it worse. I took a few sips to get the flavor profile, but it’s not for me. If it’s for you, drink this and get back in the fast lane! Happy Sipping!
I personally don't like much of the ingredients of this tea, but it was fun to try something I've never considered trying. It smells and tastes like it's healthy.
today's tea tastes like salad water. I sampled today's tea as part of the CommuniTEA March box.
Not a fan of licorice flavor. . . Consult your doctor before consuming.
You wouldn't typically think of a medicinal type tea as refreshing, but this one is. When feeling under the weather, this tea helped me perk up and feel invigorated when not much else worked.
This blend is great! Very flavorful - from the spice of the ginger to the cool bite of the mint. Perfect for flu season & clearing out the sinuses.
Good tea, wish there was more licorice flavor though!
Had a sample size of this and had to buy the full size bag. We don't want to need this often, but when we do, it is a great booster. Those daycare colds come often enough to keep this in the pantry year round.
This tea is wonderful. Great for when you are feeling under the weather but also good anytime. Very comforting.
I wish I'd bought the larger bag of this one. Out of the many packs of teas I'd purchased, this one was gone the fastest. Delicious unsweetened. Next time, I'm going to try to let it steep overnight in the fridge, just to see how it turns out.
One of the best from the Cold & Flu Teas sampler. I don't love licorice or fennel, but the ginger & mint balanced it quite nicely.
Really does make you feel like you’re healing when you have a respiratory illness. Even my kids enjoy it.
Comforting tea when I'm feeling under the weather. Recently had a cold, I found this tea to be soothing and calming to my symptoms. I would recommend having some on hand for when you feel under the weather.
Not my cup of tea. I prefer the ginger teas for cold/sore throat recovery. This didn't really do much except for being a warm cup of mint tea.
I cant tell you if it genuinely slows down a cold coming on but it’s a great comfort when you feel worn down. Not overwhelming like some herbal remedy teas can be, just fresh.
I came down with a flu like illness last week and was nauseous as heck. I remembered buying this in case of illness, so I decided to try. Best decision I made. Soothed my stomach and helped me get better fast, just like the name says. Pleasant taste and scent.
Absolute life saver! I started coming down with a cold and it was a blessing on my overall symptoms. I highly recommend!
The mint makes it soothing and the ginger flavor come through. Was hesitant to purchase for fear it would taste too medicinal but that wasn’t the case. Glad I took a chance.
Really great tea. Has helped me with the flu and stomach bugs. Has a nice light flavor but the mint is soothing
