I love this tea! I drink it on most days--with some sugar (as I do with all tea).
I know that the first listed ingredient is the matte but I was expecting to taste the other flavors as well. I couldn't taste the cocoa nibs or cinnamon or any nutty flavor. Even with honey the taste was very flat. Glad I only bought the sampler.

I can’t say I’m a fan of this tea. I don’t quite know how to describe the flavor except to say that something in the nuances of flavor somehow reminds me of mushrooms.
I did not car for this. Very heavy feeling and almost bitter in taste.
This tea was delicious, I really like it for the morning instead of coffee. It has a nice crisp taste and is delicious with a bit of honey.

Got this in my CommuniTea. Quite possibly one of the worst teas I have ever gotten from Adagio (the worst was probably Candy Apple). Didn't enjoy the smell or taste. Really weird combination of flavors. Hard to even explain what is going on.

I am confused as to why the packet said this was an herbal tea (of which I'm not a fan), but the description is completely different. In any event, this was my first experience with mate, and I did enjoy this tea.
I got this as part of CommuniTea, otherwise I probably wouldn't have tried it. It does have a nice nutty factor, but it isn't quite to my taste. I only brewed for 6 minutes, and probably should have gone for a couple more as it seemed a little weak.
I really liked this tea. With a nice kick of cinnamon it was my afternoon jumpstart 🤗
I was excited about this tea because I was expecting a rich, dark, mate/cocoa flavor. For me, the predominant flavor I got was cinnamon and a hint of the mate. It's not my favorite, but not bad! If I were looking for a cinnamon-heavy tea to give me a warm, Autumnal feeling, this would be a great pick!
This tea tastes like nutty cinnamon with a dry cocoa nib. if you like the taste of a dark chocolate or black coffee then you might enjoy this. Not for me.

This is so-so, to me it doesn't have much flavor despite having cinnamon and cocoa nibs in it. I'll have to mix it with a stronger tea in order to properly enjoy it.

Very energizing, could not really taste the cinnamon, cocoa nibs, or kola nuts though, the taste is mostly made up of the earthy quality of mate
After giving up coffee, this really fills the void. Tasty and gives a light boost.

This tea is a little tricky. I read the previous reviews and decided to take a chance since I was looking to replace coffee occasionally.
The tea smelled ok before brewing and I was excited as I waited for the steeping. I was let down when I smelled the after brewing. It smells just like a chai spice and tasted just like it too. While some people love or like chai, I do not and will just stick to coffee until I try some of the breakfast teas.
My absolute favorite blend to get the day started.
This reminds me of an old tevana blend, Java Mate. It s a strong rich brew, that s super caffeinated and stand up the the heartiest breakfast. You re gonna want to drink it while it s good and hot.
It's good and cocoa-y, reminds me a lot of coffee. It's very pretty to look at too. I bought a sample to try, but gave most of it away. It's just ok.
This isn't my favorite mate blend, but it has good flavor and is a nice boost when ya need it.

This a nice tea! I bought it in teabags so it would be east to make at work. It is smooth and tastes good. It did not make me jittery, which is good.
This is the perfect coffee alternative. It delivers my much needed caffeine boost, but without making me feel jittery. Based on the ingredients, I thought this tea was going to be spicy like a masala chai or seasonal autumn blend. Rather, this tea has a lovely complexity that reminds me of coffee.
Great Blend! I was skeptical about the cocoa additives but the taste is subtle creating a rich mellow blend filled with caffeine

Wow! Absolutely an energizing blend, great for keeping at the office. Maybe good for people who don't normally like tea, as the kola nut gives it a distinct coca-cola flavor. It's not overpowering, but some people may find it offputting.
This tea definity give you a boost, but tastewise, I like some of the other mate teas much better. This makes me think of an orange pekoe that's been steeped for a little too long.
