It tastes good and is nice and warm when you're feeling sick, but I think I prefer a lemon tea and theraflu to help me recover.
As the name suggests, our Elderberry Wine is a full-bodied, complex tisane. With notes of grape and cranberry, it is the perfect tea to sip on to satisfy the need for bold flavor.

Tried this hot and it was good, tried it cold and it was AMAZING!!! If you like upbeat teas this one's for you. A little sweet, a little tart but all around smooth flavor. A great summer cold brew!
This is good, but not my favorite. Probably a winter tea for me. Elderberries are so good & although I could taste them it wasn’t as strong as I wanted.
More bitter than I would enjoy normally, but would be great with cold symptoms!
I have made some cold brews with this and I love the gorgeous pink color. I will have it in place of wine in a wine glass. The tea is so pretty it makes me feel like a fairy, and the taste is mellow fruit, it doesn’t have a fake phony fruit flavor which I hate)
If seeped a little too long it can get very strong but it’s a good flavor!!
This tea was good, but my favorite. The flavor was definitely elderberry. It comes across almost like jam, which was not exactly to my liking but would be great for someone who loves elderberry flavor!
I really liked this tea. It has a lot of different flavors and they play together very nicely
Very good tea i love it
This is my favorite iced tea that has the lemongrass notes which I’m not usually fond of in my afternoon iced teas.
I love the flavor of the elderberry wine! Great for evening tea time.
This tea is very fruity and delightful. I would definitely order again.
Complex and satisfying with bold flavors perfect for an afternoon revival.
After baking for hours I was ready to sit down and relax. After being around all that sugar, a different flavor was needed. This sweet/tart tea was exactly the right choice.
As a child who grew up in rural farm area, I’ve tasted actual elderberries, and later some homemade wine. This offering was a pretty good replication of notes I remember. I did find the rose hips to be more prominent but not a distraction. I’ll try again iced.
A bit tart but pairs perfectly with Dragonfruit dream to make a fruity iced tea
Not QUITE what I thought it was going to be, but very good. Tastes very much like a good mulled wine.
Fantastic tea for chest congestion, especially blended 1:1 with Breathe Well. Deep fuchia color, medium body, nice berry flavor with a slight bite from the lemon grass. Good unsweetened, but rounds with honey for Fruit Tisanes or sharpens with honey for Garden Herbals.
Great herbal for evening cups of tea. Love the fruity profile. Would reorder again. Delicious.
I enjoyed this flavor chilled more than warmed, surprisingly! Wonderful color and fragrance!
I got this as a sample and think it might make a better iced tea than a hot tea. But the flavor was delicious and nothing stood out as overpowering the other ingredients.
Very nice flavor. The elderberry flavor is strong, but very good.
This tea is very flavorful and great warm feeling. It does have a strong wine and elderberry taste but nothing that is too strong.
Very good elderberry taste! Excellent with honey! Nice flavor! Very good after dinner tea! Cant wait to drink in the winter as well!
I had to fight with a friend over this blend each time she came over. I guess I need to order her a box.
Too fruity and astringent for my taste. I did not love this one although the blend is nice.
This elderberry tea is light but tart and has a very nice blend of berries and lemongrass that go well together. Quite refreshing!
I liked this blend. It is an interesting flavor and has some body behind it which I enjoy, especially in colder weather where you want something that is a bit more substantial.
This is a very comforting tea, great for when I’m not feeling well. It tastes great and I love that its good for me
This tea is stellar, especially considering that elderberries are actually quite unpleasant. It is stunning with a bit of lemon juice, no sugar needed. I appreciate the antioxidants and immune boost as well.
A 'tea' with no tea leaves in it, it is slightly tart. It does, however have Hibiscus, which I have found that I do not like. The presence of rosehips moves it into the 'ok' zone. 212F for three minutes.
The cold-brew I made of my CommuniTEA pouch seemed more herbaceous in character than fruity, though, to be fair, I have no idea what elderberries actually taste like. I did not sweeten it, which might have helped to bring out the fruity notes more. I will admit that one thing I was looking forward to was the tisane's color, but to get the full effect of that, I suspect one needs to brew it hot and then chill as my cold-steeped version was just a vivid bright red and not the rich crimson that I see in other photos. Ah well...more experimentation to be done...the next time it comes around in the CommuniTEA.
Gorgeous color, and quite delightfully fruity. Though I have to admit I find I'm not the biggest fan of some of the flavor combinations--perhaps it's the rose and grape, or grape and hibiscus... but either way, it almost has a soapy taste to it. Still drinkable, I think maybe today's proportions were just not ideal.
So had a bit of a cold when sipping so going with what I can. I definitely tasted a sort of jammy flavor that reminded me of some dry red wines. It was tart, but enjoyable. I look forward to trying this one iced sometimes and hopefully while feeling better for a fairer review where I can taste all the different flavors I bet I am missing out on. 212° 5min
CommuniTEA sample: 5 min @ 212 F, The flavor in this blend is very mild. It has the fruity, tart, and tropical aspects of hibiscus, it has some extra tartness from the lemongrass, and it has a little bit of berry flavor. But it feels like it's weaker than other hibiscus blends, I don't know if it really has enough direction. I feel like I prefer berry blast as far as similar hibiscus blends go. It's not bad though, I can enjoy it, I got a second infusion out of it, it's just a little weak in flavor.
This is a nice herbal brew, and it really is wine dark in the cup. However, it’s a little sour for my taste.
Very flavorful and the elderberry is complimented greatly by the other flavors. I drink while studying so it’s like having a pick me up after long equations
My wife's new go to tea and I actually love it as well vary flavorful .Great both hot and cold .Definitely recommend
Cranberry and grape? Yes please. Beautiful and tasty tea. Would buy this again in a bigger size for sure.
Update: I decided to try it and see why my friend loves it so much.
Let's just say, maybe this would taste better to me during a zombie apocalypse. By that I mean, my options for tea might be seriously limited! Bottom line - it would take too much sugar to sweeten this up to my liking.
I buy this for a friend, who unlike me, loves the tarty taste of hibiscus. She absolutely loves this tisane. According to her, the elderberry is bold and blends sweetly with the hibiscus and rose hips. Plus, it has the added benefit of echinacea. A winner in her book!
Great flavor. Very tasty I really enjoyed this purchase
This is by far still one of my top favorites. Amazing taste and aroma. The visual of the color is just beautiful!
It's okay. Mine didn't have much elderberry pieces . I mix it with berry blast for a fruitier tea
Lots! of deep flavor. This is a pretty tea to look at and it is delicious warm. Great with a dessert
I'm conflicted - it doesn't taste like either elderberry or wine to me, but it does taste good. It's sweet and tangy, but I had to make a very strong batch (a tablespoon of tea for 2 cups of water) before I weakly tasted the flavor. On the other hand, my MIL drank some from the same batch and said it was too strong for her! I went between our two opinions and rated this four stars.
A little tart and sweet flavor. Nice! I steeped it extra long
This has become my go-to fall and winter tea. Elderberry and echinacea are amazing for the immune system. It doesn’t hurt that it tastes great
The first steep is a bit rough, but every steep afterwards is so smooth and delicious!
This is pretty good! I love the tartness. I used sugar and honey and its perfect. It tastes great iced too. My mom loved it for a sore throat too.
This is one of my new favorite teas for daytime drinking.
This is a tart little tea which might surprise the unexpecting (and me). Because I double my portion amount, the tartness was a tad off putting the first time i tried it BUT, once I mixed in some other fruity loose leaf--the blend was beautiful. I also added 1 sweetner.
