This thing is amazing. Makes wonderful tea with one touch. The keep warm function works even after you lift off the pitcher to pour a cup. Perfect for at-work tea service where you don't have room for a separate kettle and pot. Easier to clean than I would've guessed. It does seem that I can/need to use much less tea per ounce in this teamaker than in my teapot. That could be a bug or a feature, depending on how you look at it, and I'm still learning where the sweet spot is. Regardless, this is a great design!

I really like this tea maker but the tin brew cup and lid seem very cheap for a $100 machine. I hope they hold up.

I have been patiently (like 15 years) for a tea maker that didn't drain my account. I have an electric kettle and while it has worked, I always wished for a device that would do my tea like a coffee maker and then keep warm. HERE IT IS! I love this tea maker. It makes the tea exactly how I like it and it keeps my 32oz warm for my day. I am thrilled with it and highly recommend this!

Oh my gosh, no more oversteeped tea, no more having it go cold too fast, and best of all I can make more than one cup! I love this thing already and my tea already tastes better. It's well made, very attractive, and works like a charm. Totally thrilled, even if it was a little spendy.

Bought this and got it today. made a couple of cups of black tea and loved it so much. Then I made enough herbal to go into my carafe to take to work. The taste for both at the correct setting was just wonderful. I see myself using this a lot when I know I am going to drink more than a single cup in a sitting at home.

I've made black tea, herbal, green, and white in this so far, even a pu erh and I am loving it. Next up is an oolong, I just haven't decided which one I want to do.

the teas that I have made taste just wonderful and after an adjustment of tea level based on the large pot, I just truly love it so much.

This is the Best. I ask myself, Why didn t I get purchase this earlier? This tea maker brews all my favorite teas Perfectly! What surprised me, is that I combined some loose tea with a couple of tea bags and it was just perfect.
What a game changer.

The VelociTEA is amazing! I love that I just push a button to brew the perfect cup of tea (based on the type of tea) AND it keeps my tea hot for an hour!

When I first received this, I didn’t realize the elevation of the city I live in and I discovered that this wouldn’t work on the black tea setting. However, thanks to the comment of another user and Adagio’s response, I now use the Oolong setting with success. I’ve already used it a number of times and I look forward for years of use.

This is a great Idea. So often I sit and wait for the water to boil using a kettle and open flame. Its nice to be able to set this all up hit the button and go off to do something else and not have to worry about what's on the stove. also if I don't get back right away it stays nice and hot until I get back .First Time we tried it it worked pretty well and we may just need to adjust the amount of tea leaf used to get it to our taste. Its also so easy to reheat brewed tea rather than sticking it in the microwave. If you love your tea you will love this.

Received VelociTEA Tea Maker. Made one cup of tea and it stop brewing after the first cup. Tried to call customer service for replacement but could not get in touch with anyone. I went online to their website and immediately spoke with someone using chat. Customer service immediately sent me a shipping label via email to return damaged VelociTEA Tea Maker. Within two weeks, I received a new VelociTEA Tea Maker. I love the tea maker. Great for making one cup of tea at a time and very easy using the preset buttons. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Love the pot-of-plenty tea in the busy AM!

Does not work in higher elevations. I live in Northern Colorado and discovered it will not circulate the water correctly. Very sad that I didn’t get to use it.

I am completely in love with this tea maker!! I drink tea all day long, and quite often, I end up over-steeping it, or I just struggle to get the water the right temperature, especially for delicate teas like whites. This takes the guess work out of it. Super easy to use, and I love that the steeping basket is large enough to let the leaves have plenty of room to expand. This is such a perfect size, easily brewing 32 to 40 ounces, but you can certainly brew even just a single cup in it. Highly recommend!

Still figuring this teamaker out. I like to brew large amounts and then transfer to a thermos.My first time brew was with loose herbal tea and I had to brew twice( 2 cycles) to get the steep right, or water to circulate.~ Just now, I used tea bags on the black tea cycle. The water seems not to be circulating through the basket as stated in the directions.~ The reviews are positive so not giving up yet.

I can t stress enough how much we LOVE this! My wife and I bought it as a Christmas gift for ourselves, and we have literally used this every day for the last month. We always used to forget our tea and oversteep it, and just used regular boiled water

Love it! For early mornings, I prep the night before and have my early bird husband press the go button for me. I'll brew 32 ounces and drink the first half at home and take the rest to go in my yeti travel tumblr. My everyday tea is Ceylon Sonata from Adagio and it is so nice how this teamaker manages to get a nice deep brew without oversteeping (something I am prone to doing).

This is a great tea maker when you have company (or like to drink two to three cups yourself). The system for infusion is ingenious (and kinda fun to watch) and makes perfect tea. You will have to experiment at first to get the best tea-to-water ratio but once you have that figured out, it works great. Clean-up is good (the basket is easy to clean) but you will want to rinse and clean out the carafe as soon as you can as the tea can dry and stain the bottom.

I m enjoying this as I don t have to guess the temperature in a pot on the stove and remember to set the timer for steeping. When I want to re-steep, I refill the pot and use the same leaves for the second go round (I make ice tea by the gallon, so I make a concentrate in the pot and then dilute it to make the gallon). I have one tea I have to manually set a timer for that requires 212 degrees for 3 minutes. Wish there was a setting for that combination.

I love this tea maker. It is so easy to use and makes steeping the perfect cup (or pot) of tea so much less fussy! The only thing that would make it better is if extra tea baskets were available - I like to reuse my tea leaves and I would like to have an extra basket or two for steeping different teas without having to dump the leaves.

I love this maker. At 9000 feet in elevation water boils at about 190 degrees, so the herbal and black tea options won't work.I use the Oolong setting instead. My tea maker arrived with a slight problem.Customer service was quick to reply. I've returned my tea maker for a replacement. I'll update my review after I receive my replacement. Replacement received! Works great!

This may look like an advertisement for Adagio.com's Velocitea, but it isn't. I just love my new electronic tea maker. So, in my opinion, the best things about this teamaker are:

It makes tea quickly.
Water temperature and brewing times are specific to the type of tea you want to make.
Both loose tea and tea bags work in the pot.
Amount of water and tea are adjustable.
The tea is very good.
I do think it is kind of pricey, but so far, it is worth the price. My daughter and son-in-law gave me a gift certificate to Adagio.com and I ordered it there. I had wanted this for a while, but had hesitated because it cost around $100.00 (if you pre-ordered) and then increased a little. Still that is not an insignificant amount of money. So far, I love it and recommend it to anyone who likes top quality tea on a regular basis.

This is a no brainer - you don't have to do anything and your tea is perfect every time

Worth the investment... you won't be disappointed!

Love this tea maker, it's perfect. My white teas taste much better when brewed properly.

The first time I used it I was very happy to have a pot tea instead of making tea by the cup. With this it’s like fill it and relax. No concern for temperatures or time.

I never write reviews, but I'm so disappointed. I received this yesterday and it won't brew tea. It heats water and then turns itself off. Maybe I just got a defective item?

I had a great hot water maker, but this tea maker has it all. So easy and so wonderful. If you don't want your tea immediately it will reheat. Tea in minutes. All those simple settings will not have you guessing about water temperature. This is a keeper.

This VelociTea Tea Maker is fantastic, so convenient, it takes the work out of making tea, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy perfectly brewed tea every time!!

So in love with this tea maker! It makes my life so easy, especially for someone who probably drinks more tea than water! One brew at the max line gets me through the day (compared to having to brew multiple batches a day), and every batch tastes so perfect! So simple and efficient!

This thing screams quality, the tea kettle itself is really nice and overall works beautifully. The temperatures are spot on, you push a button with the preset temp and time and the tea comes out marvelous. The teapot and strainer are super easy to clean with a simple rinse from the sink. No issues with flavor ghosting. I am taking off a star only because there is no way to manually adjust the time. You are locked into the presets. Now there is another tea maker on the market where you can adjust the time, but it costs twice as much! Not really worth the cost in my opinion, but this would be a great feature in a future revision. I like to make 40 oz of tea (the max amount you can make with this) and pour into my 40 oz thermos to take to work with me everyday. Super happy about this purchase! I have made several pots in the short amount of time I have had this, everything from green to herbals and they have all turned out spot on and delicious. Good job Adagio!

I love this teamaker! I preordered and received it a week ago. Ive made at least one pot every day since then. Super easy to use and love that I can fill it with loose leaf tea and water, press a button and come back a few minutes later to perfect tea to drink then or later, plus it has enough capacity that I can drink some right away plus fill a big mug to take into work. Kind of wish I’d preordered 2 so I would have had one for home and one for work!

Works as advertised. No more forgetting and over steeping. Easy to use and clean. Great product!

Wow I'm so glad I pre-ordered this. It arrived yesterday and I've made two pots of tea so far. This tea maker is so cool, it's magic! And the tea is spectacular! It's fun to watch too. Using the right temperature and steeping time really does make a difference, I love this!

Awsome Tea Maker. Just pour water in and put tea basket in and hit the right tea button. The Water heats then pours over the Tea and beeps when done.

I love this little sucker! It brews my tea perfectly and so far has been easy to clean.

I bought this for myself for Christmas and I AM IN LOVE! This kettle is perfection. It has seriously upped my tea game to the next level!

FINALLY a very affordable tea maker. easy to clean and makes a great amount of tea that keeps warm for at least 30 min.
