The tins are very good. I would like the option though to pay a little extra and have tea shipped in the tins instead of the bags.

an attractive way to store teas. once you get more than a couple bags in your cabinet, it's nice to have a more organized way to store.

I really love these tins. They're 3 for $9 which is a great value and hold 4oz of tea each. The airtight seals are great and as long as you don't abuse em, they're long lasting. The reason I rated em as good and not great is because they're rather simple, I kind of wish they were a bit more decorated. Other than that though, definitely a must! Keeps your tea fresh and a great way to store it :)!

One of my tins came with a semi-cracked lid. Very cute though. Also when I washed it with a harsher sponge, the lid got scratched up realllllly easily.

Aesthetically simple, affordable and just the right size. Stores a reasonable supply of my favorite teas without compromising freshness.

These are so useful! They stack well and will contain a 3 oz bag though for the more poofy teas it will be a close fit.

Useful these are! Just enough room for the 3oz pouches I bought to go in them. And enough room on the tin to stick the labels on there so I know which teas they are! Definitely plan to get a couple more of these for the teas I get in the future.

Now, I haven't been buying tea from Adagio for long enough to remember getting tea in tins, but I can say that I preferred buying the tins, have having a set amount rather than having an abundance of tins that I have no use for.

These tins are perfect. They're just the right size to hold a decent amount of tea (unless of course it's super fluffy white tea, then you'll find yourself refilling the tin quite often). The seal is very tight, so you don't need to worry about that.
The only thing that I wish could be improved would be the stacking ability of these. Maybe designed slightly differently so they could be stacked a few tins high without the worry of them falling over. I stack mine two tins high, and there's already a slight lean, as they are not designed to be stacked like that.

It's too bad that they don't sell them with the tea though.

Nice tins! It's hard to find something with a clear lid that either screws on or has a flip-tab like these do. These are just the right size for the 3oz bags of tea. The only thing that's slightly disappointing is that while they do technically stack, they don't do so tightly and are easy to knock over. Would love a version that fits together better.

I wasn't using Adagio when these tins were apparently used to ship tea rather than the current bags, so I didn't really have a problem buying a few to keep in my cabinets. They really are leagues better than the bags, keep the tea fresh, and look really nice. What more can I ask for?

Exactly what I needed for containing the staple teas. I'd tried to find this type of latching jar at the thrift stores with no luck, and prices would have been same as new ones anyway. The lids are secure, but still easy to open - no awkward prying.

The lids were flimsier than I expected, but the size is good and the price is right. I will likely order more.

They look nice and work well. I think that as some one that just found this site as I did, it would be better if for your first order you got the tins for free with any tea purchase of 3 oz or more of one kind of tea.

It's the perfect size if you maintain a variety of tea.

I love these tins - they look much snazzier than the pouches and are easier to organize in my cabinet. I've found they stack well enough as long as it's not an area that will get jostled a lot. They're a good deal for the price, bigger and much nicer than other tins I could buy locally for the same cost. The lids are convenient, too, and much easier to use than fitted metal lids or resealing zip-style pouches. I'll be ordering more of these in the future.

Cheaper than that place in the mall and the lid is attached. Win Win

As someone who is always dropping thing left and right these tins have been a lifesaver.

There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about these tins - I bought them in 'Grasshopper,' and the color is gorgeous and adds a great pop of cheer to my pantry, the lock keeps the lid closed, and they even transport well from home to work. I couldn't be more pleased to have added them to my collection.

I add these to my order every time. They are great for storing the 3 oz bags.

Perfect size, like the clear flip top. The only bad thing is they don't have a variety of colors. It would be nice if they would get the red and blue back in stock so people can order more than 2 colors! I'd definitely order them if they were available! Maybe some new colors too!

I love these tins, I bought a few of them for my favorite teas that i keep stocked. They work great and seal tightly.

These tins are nice and handy and adorable. I love the clear tops that allow me to see what tea is inside each one without constantly having to open the tin and let the smell out. It would be a nice touch if they were stackable, but I would buy them again just as they are.

These tins hold any 3oz bag of tea with no problems. If you descide a particular tea is not your desire, and put a different one in it later, no problem again as it does not carry residual smells or flavors.

Nice sturdy tins that stack well for easy storage. There is a space to write the name of the contents so you never have to guess which one you've grabbed (if you are like me and have multiple teas in your cupboard this is a big plus) but I've found it's a good idea to write on a piece of clear tape instead of the can itself so it can be reused for a different blend.

Love these. My stash wouldn't be complete without them.

I love these tins, and my favorite part about them is that they're actually quite stackable. The fact that you can see the tea inside of them is also a huge plus! I'll definitely be purchasing more of these soon to replace my old tins. My only complaint is that I wish they came in sizes larger than 4 and 8 ounces.

These are SO CUTE and I love them!! Can't wait to order the other colors and have a full set to better display my obsession. .)

Incredibly helpful. Wish they had a label slot on them to slip in paper. Like that you can look through clear top.

Good size to keep on the counter. I use a dry erase marker to label them with type and instructions. Love the color(grasshopper), it goes with all the green in my kitchen.

I love the Tins. They are great to store all my different teas in.

I got the set in Grasshopper and OH MY GOSH is the color gorgeous! They seal tightly and are just so pleasing to the eye. Now I just have to decide which teas go in them...

I bought the set of sky tins with my first purchase of tea from Adagio and I have been very happy with them. I'm not sure how it will go when I try and wash one out to switch the tea that is inside, but I don't expect any problems. I actually took one to work recently so that I can have my good tea there too.

I love these tins! They are great for traveling to and from work or a weekend at my daughters.

I, too, wish I could just buy tea in these, especially custom blends! Regardless, they're great quality tins. I rinse and let dry before use, and any plasticy or metallic odor quickly goes away. They seal tightly, stack, and fit the standard 3oz bags that Adagio sells very well. Can't wait for other colors to be available again.

Perfect for storing my favorite teas! My bags of tea were a mess, always falling all over my pantry and sometimes disappearing behind boxes of crackers. These tins are a great size not only for holding the tea, but for taping on the label from the bag as well so the teas are easily identifiable.

These are nice:) I like them and they fit perfectly in my dorm room storage!

I don't like having to only give three stars to these, but unfortunately I've had bad luck with the ones I got recently. Of the last set of three I ordered, two have broken already in the course of regular, every-day use - they weren't dropped or used roughly, but the plastic cracked on them where the tins latch. Very disappointing, especially since I've genuinely liked these in the past. I can only hope it was a bad batch, but I think I'm going to stick to the tins I can get locally from now on.

Right size, air tight and stackable. I either peel or cut the label off the ziplock bags and tape them to the outside of the tin.

I love the clear lids. I can easily see which tea is in which tin!

I quite liked these! Mine are a lovely green color in person, but I have plans to go ahead and purchase the blue and yellow sets later on. The locking mechanism is nicely airtight while also being really easy to open one-handed. I would have liked a space for a label that matches the size of the labels that came with my tea, but other than that these are basically perfect for me. I particularly liked the clear tops. And hey, you can't beat the price!

Seriously, the people bitching about how they used to be free should suck it up and deal--I'd much rather Adagio stay in business without free tins, and these are at least a dollar cheaper than I can find just about anywhere on the Net, while looking much nicer than half of the ones comparably priced.

I got these tins with my frequent cup points, and I must say that I wish they still came with the teas. These tins are perfect, and alot better to store tea in then the bags they come in. I will definitely buy some more to store my growing tea collection

I just received my tins! I got them in the green colour, and I really do love these. A bag of the tea cookies I ordered fits perfectly in one tin. I love the clasp on them. The green shade is perfect, too. :) I didn't know about Adagio back when the tea came with the tins free, but I don't mind paying for them anyway. I will definitely buy more tins soon!

I like having my tea in tins instead of bags. It is easier to scoop out and are better for storage. My only problem is when storing them, they do not sit on top of each other well, so I often have tins falling on me while searching for what I want. I also wish it had labels to put on them so I can put a different tea inside and not have a mess with crossing out the old blend.
