Absolutely adorable!!! I love this teapot, it's even cuter in person than in the picture and it's very pretty and conveniently sized. It's much smaller compared to the 10oz cup than I expected (frankly I'm not sure I believe it's a full 17oz), but it's still a good amount of tea and it's nice to not have to commit to an entire 5 cups of one kind of tea if I want to make a pot. I do wish the infuser had mesh on the bottom to allow for better steeping, and my lid has a small rough bump on the ball, but I expect if I contact customer service they'll send me a new one. Overall I have a few minor complaints but I'm mostly very happy with this teapot and intend to use it daily!

Works really great and the capacity is much larger than I imagined.

This is the first teapot I've bought since regular sized teapots are far too large for me to use regularly. I found that it can hold a lot more than 2 cups (as per the description), you can fill around 3 cups without it spilling out the spout.

Looks very nice, but not as easy to use as my previous 48oz pitcher. Since it's all metal and glass, the tea brewed tasted excellent. 16oz of water comes just up to the top of where the spout meets the pot while the infuser is removed, so it certainly only holds two cups. It's extremely light. My biggest complaint is that there are no holes on the bottom of the infuser, so it's harder to swish the leaves around and the water doesn't drain out quick enough when lifting it out to stop steeping. The holes look laser-cut so unless your tea is ground up, it's probably not going to leak through into your pot.

The teapot looks absolutely beautiful and works good! This is my first one since I started steeping my own tea and I'm very happy with it. Such a pretty piece of kitchen-ware. It's interesting to watch your tea change color and brew in this teapot!

This is the perfect size teapot for a single tea-drinking household, especially for someone just getting into tea, like me. I didn't want to spend a lot while I'm learning all nuances of brewing, and this cute little pot suits my needs perfectly! I always make a double serving because that's the perfect amount for my larger travel mug, but it could easily make three cups at one time.
I steep my tea without the basket because I really enjoy watching the tea leaves unfold and the tea develop, but the basket is roomy enough to allow the leaves to move around like they should- big plus because a lot of teapots come with a basket that's way too small.
The only drawback (which didn't even rate a downgrade)- be careful the first time you pour because the angle of the spout made it shoot right over my cup, ha ha! Once you get the hang of that, it's really a great little teapot.

Overall I really like this teapot. The one flaw is that there is no vent hole in the lid, so it needs to be held open slightly pour the tea smoothly. It is light but strong, and I like that you can see the color of the tea.
★★★★★
Perfect size for two delicious cups. Nothing like tea brewed in glass or China!
★★★★★
great quality cute design. I pour 2 tbsps of tea in the diffuser and fill it with boiling water, then let steep for 4-5 min. perfect cup of black tea

The teapot looks absolutely beautiful and works good!

Literally the perfect small (approx. 2 cup teapot). Large infuser to assure maximum room for the leaves to expand. Pours elegantly. Yes, it's fragile, but it's glass. Highly recommended.

I use this teapot nearly every day. Originally a gift, I liked it so much, I bought a replacement when the first broke after two years of use. Just don't slam yours against a ceramic cookie jar. The metal infuser hasn't rusted in the two years it's been used. Yes, the infuser gets hot from the tea, but picking it up quickly and putting it in a cup to drain has never been a burn issue. However, I never use this infuser with rooibos and wouldn't recommend that because of the hole size, but other teas infuse fine. I love that the glass pot lets me see the tea inside. When finished, I put it all in the top rack of the dishwasher. The size gives me about three teacups worth of tea or nearly fills my liter thermos that I take with me everywhere during winter months. Let me know if you need a new lid. I now have two!

its good and looks nice but it was way smaller that what I thought.
★★★★☆
Solid teapot. Relatively easy to clean with the possible exception of the spout. I usually clean the spout with a Q-tip. The strainer obviously does get quite hot after infusing with tea steeped at a high temperature. One more negative, the top can fall off and break easily, but luckily adagio sells replacement lids cheaply. Perfect size for 1 or 2 people.

i bought this for my wife to have at work. she loves it. easy to handle small enough to keep around your desk and does the job for a hot refreshing tea at work.
★★★★★
Love this pot...it gives me an experience that is as close as I can get to a tea ceremony ... the pay back is that it has broken many times under my partners heavy hand... that then gives me the opportunity to let go... forgive and ... buy a new one...
★★★★★
Perfect for one or two to share , also suppose it's broken it's replace new one , thank you. Will buy another ...

This is a wonderful little pot. I'd give it 5 stars but the spout is a little hard to clean because it's so small. Much to my dismay I can't take the little pot everywhere I do (I do take my own tea) but the metal infuser goes everywhere with me. Yea I'm a nut but a nut that like her tea. The infuser strains out the smallest particles so it does an excellent job.
I don't have any breakage problems with this little glass pot but I do hold the lid when pouring, and I leave the infuser in the pot until after I've poured the tea - no burnt fingers.
★★★★★
I love my little tea pot. I especially enjoy seeing the color of the tea. I read the reviews about the lid not staying on while pouring and did not intend to allow my 8 year old to use the pot. She had it under control.
★★★☆☆
While the size of the pot is terrific, the design of the lid is not great. It doesn't fit on snugly and the first time I poured the tea without a hand on the lidit slid off and shattered.
★★★★★
I really like my petit teapot it makes it so much easier to drink multiples cups
★★★☆☆
Very cute little teapot that does the job well. My only gripe would be the size - while I do understand that it is meant to be undersized (the word 'petit' clued me in :P), it really only produces one very large or two somewhat scant cups of tea per brew. Just another ounce or two of space would do it some good without compromising its space-saving qualities. [UPDATE]: Had to downgrade this from good to merely okay - about a month in I dropped the lid - on CARPET - and it shattered. A few months later someone else tried to wash the pot itself for me and accidentally broke the stem. The kettle is still quite cute and does its job, but it's too fragile to be worth it.
★★★★★
I love this teapot! It is a perfect size for one or two people. My one problem with it is the glass is thin and breaks easily. The metal infuser it comes with is nice and high quality. The holes in it are really tiny and should work for most any type of tea. Overall, it is a great little teapot and I use it almost every day.
★★☆☆☆
I purchased two petite teapots at once, but
the round cover handle of one of the pots is broken when arriving. The way it broken concerns me, and I don't want to keep the second set even though it is still good. The glass mug and infuser is good though. I will keep it.
★★★★★
I love this teapot. It's the perfect size when I want to brew just a couple of cups, and it works great with the blooming teas.
★★★★★
IN LOVE WITH THIS TEAPOT! perfect for little old me, or for two. The infuser gets a bit hot, but, well, what do you expect? The handle doesn't get hot at all, and although the glass is very very light, it seems rather durable. I would never wash my glass in the dishwasher, though
★★★★☆
This teapot looks nice and works great. I really like the spacious steeping container. The only downside is the glass is extremely fragile and the lid doesn't sit firmly in place. The lid on mine slipped off while pouring and instantly shattered. Not a huge deal though because the lid doesn't really have a practical purpose.
I would recommend this teapot.
★★★★★
I just brewed one of my favorite blends in my new petit teapot and so far I love it. The glass is lovely to watch the color change and it's the perfect size for two nice size cups for myself. I've read some mixed reviews so I'll keep an eye out for any changes but I'm hopeful it'll last me a long time.
★★★★★
I bought this teapot after reading some of the reviews here. I thought I would only use this teapot once in a while, like for making a blooming tea -- which is why I wanted a clear teapot. I have found that I have been using this often since I got it in the mail. I am gentle with it, taking advice from other reviewers, and it is actually easy to brew small amounts of tea with this pot, up to about 4 cups at a time. It works great, since I can see the color of the tea and have more control over temperature, no more over-steeped bitter tea, and clean-up is easy! Especially since the strainer is nicely designed.
★★★★☆
The infuser is a very fine mesh yet not too flexible, so it keeps the tea in and is easy to wash. The spout on the tea pot is very small. This is good in that it pours very accurately with little spilling but bad in that it takes some time to pour a cup. One real complaint I have is that you can't fill the pot more then about an inch from the top. Because the spout pours so slowly its easy to dam the tea against the lid and spill from the top.
Over all I do like this pot. It's appealing but perhaps a little less practical. I'd recommend it for people who slowly enjoy their tea and don't mind taking a moment to drink a cup.
★★★☆☆
Great for brewing in, especially because you can see the color of the tea developing, but be careful with the lid. Mine broke, and every time the spare lid is available for purchase, they seem to run out before they can ship my order.
★★★★★
A little bigger than expected. in a good way. The strainer is so nice with the tiny holes. Perfect pot for 1-3 people to share some flowering tea!
★★★★★
Just a gorgeous teapot --- you almost hate to use it! But what a cup of tea it makes. Highly recommended.
★★★★★
this lil guy is so elegant. it adds a great aesthetic quality to the tea drinking experience!
★★★★★
I loved it! So beautiful, it made my tea drinking experience fabulous!
★★★★★
I just received my petit teapot today, and I'm absolutely thrilled! It's terribly cute! Though it looks delicate, the handle is very comfortable and feels solid. The previous reviewer mentioned an issue with the lid, but I just remove it when pouring. Haven't had any issues with the spout either, it pours beautifully. I'm very happy with my purchase!
★★★★★
I love the Petit Teapot! Being able to see the beautiful colors of the teas makes brewing tea special, even though we do it every day! The size of the pot works very well for green or white tea for two people, or black tea for one.
★★★★★
The teapot is so very cute and holds just enough tea to toss into a travel mug. I love being able to see my tea brew very fun!
★★★★★
I really wanted a teapot with an infuser, since the (tiny) teapot I was using at home would require me brew in my ingenuitea and then transfer the tea to the pot. This little guy is awesome! My only complaint is how hot the infuser gets, but that's kind of silly considering that it's metal submerged in boiling water. Really, I should've been more careful. But I am excited to use this full-time, since it's cute and makes a great cup of tea!
★★★★★
I use this several times every day. It's the perfect size for one person. It's small enough that it doesn't get cold before you can drink it all, but big enough that you don't have to make a fresh pot every two minutes. It's pretty, too. The glass is thin, and at first I was afraid of breaking it, but I've used it heavily for a few months now and I'm convinced that it's sturdy. I'll probably be buying a couple more of these as gifts.
★★★★☆
This is definitely a small tea pot, as described, but it looks great and functions well.
★★★★☆
While this is teapot seems to be made of very thin glass, it is perfect for one person and actually keeps my tea very warm for quite a while. My only issue is the aforementioned thinness of the teapot, it makes me want to keep it wrapped in bubble wrap.
★★★★★
My Favorite Tea pot I am glad I bought it.Though I did break the lid I am glad they sale lid replacements
★★★★★
It looks great and it works well! This is my favorite tea pot.
★★★★★
We recently moved and my old teapot was packed up in the basement. I used tea balls for a while but then had to finally breakdown and get new pot. Its so easy to use and keeps all the tea where its supposed to be- in the infuser. Great product.
★★★★★
I love this teapot setup. Usually I keep the entire thing on a tea towel since the counter top is hard and cold. After steeping tea I will put the infuser in a small bowl for drips using the towel to touch it and pour into a cup while my finger holds the lid on via the ball. The ball on the lid wont be warm because it is solid. The infuser isn't mesh but it has the finest holes I've seen, only with rooibos does anything really drift into the teapot. That being said I still grabbed the $5 warranty cause it's clear glass and I don't live alone.
★★★★★
A great little teapot - it's delicate but sturdy. As others mentioned, if you hold the lid on, there are no problems (though if you didn't put a fingertip on it, it might fall off). Perfect size for two cups. My only complaint is that the spout is very slender, so the tea pours out slowly - however if you're one to stand on ceremony and not impatient like me, you'd probably not even notice.
★★★★☆
Alittle fragile, but nice. I expecially like the infuser.
★★★★☆
This is a beautiful pot with a roomy, fine-holed infuser and a perfect size for just one or two cups. It's also surprisingly durable. I knocked it against sinks and counters for months before it got a crack, and the crack hasn't grown or leaked since then. Beyond simply brewing tea, though, it has a few flaws. The lid doesn't have a steam vent, so the pot gets plugged up easily. The lid also slips easily. After the second one fell and broke, I gave up. (Then you have to hold the infuser to keep it from slipping sometimes, or if you want to take it out, and it gets hot.) It is quite pretty though, and especially considering that I got the pot on sale, it's been well worth the price. I love being able to watch teas unfurl (bonus of not having a lid). When it breaks, though, I'll probably find a different pot to use.

I purchased this item as a gift for a friend. It was a big hit.
