I purchased this for my husband and he really loves it. We have a similar pot that is slightly bigger that we got as a Christmas gift, but he wanted something that he could pour just a few cups from in a short amount of time. The pot itself is really well sized and the steeper allows the leaves to really expand and bloom. The pot itself feels very fragile though and I have to be quite careful when I was it. The angle of the spout makes it somewhat awkward to clean, but otherwise, this is a lovely little teapot.

I was so excited to get this teapot, and honestly I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did (2 months). it is VERY delicate and broke with the smallest bump into it. I do still use the infuser with a standard mug.

This is the perfect teapot for one, or two if you’re using small, Japanese-style cups. Dishwasher safe (or at least I’ve found it to be).

Teapot itself looks nice. However it is very delicate and the spout broke within a month :(

The glass is really fragile. Be extremely careful, and don't let the lid out of your sight. That thing shatters just by being breathed on. Only thing I really liked is the basket. I usually just use the basket for my small cups more than for the teapot.

Love this teapot! Holds greater volume than advertised.

It's a great little teapot for my needs. If you are live alone or are the only one in the household that drinks tea I would recommend this, its a nice size for one or two bigger mugs of tea.

I love this little teapot. It is perfect for my afternoon pick me up.

Its Small but Holds about 2 cups of Tea maybe even more depending on your mug or tea cup and its very very easy to clean

I have had this teapot for 2 months. Today, i noticed a large crack along the bottom. I have been very careful with this teapot because it felt thin. I do not recommend if you plan on using it.

Perfect for one to enjoy by yourself. Yes, this petit but use common sense on storing in your kitchen. ATTENTION : Caution of top of teapot...If you pour make sure the top is being held on too, or just take off the lid off and pour your tea. I personally wash by hand so the dishwasher will not break the teapot. I just adore this adorable teapot.

This teapot is wonderful! The spout's almost flower-like opening does a spectacular job at keeping a self-contained stream that's easy to pour and doesn't drip. I use the tapering shape of the spout to measure by-eye that I've put enough water in, and I've been pleasantly surprised that the teapot gives enough 'landmarks' to work with (despite being clear glass), if that makes sense: so my brews have been very consistent. I pour boiling water in within seconds of my kettle telling me it's ready, and the teapot is borosilicate glass so I have 100% confidence in it holding up to the heat.
The infuser mesh basket is very fine: it has only ever let a single leaf through (I stir my tea leaves quite vigorously right before taking the basket out) and I've made over 10 pots of tea before writing this review. I have long nails so it's easy for me to just grab the basket right out of the teapot once the appropriate steeping time has passed--and then I can pop it right back in to start a second brew! Because the metal of the basket is so thin, even someone without nails can pick it up without burning themselves once it's been outside of the pot for a minute or less.
The lid fits nicely with and without the basket, and I don't notice much steam loss through the spout at all. Overall, my tea brewing experience has definitely improved by this little teapot.

i was expecting the glass to be a little thicker. it does make me nervous when i use it with hot water because it could do some damage if it shatters but when i have used it i love it. i use with my chai teas and add milk for a little treat.

It does what I need it to do, but I kind of wish the spout were not so thin. I have to use a straw cleaner to clean out the spout, which is kind of a hassle.

This teapot is perfect for me. It hold just the right amount and it doesn't get tea leaves in my tea like others have.

I loved my little tea pot!!! Until it broke, not i will need another one. Great if you want one or two cups of tea

I ordered this for my MIL. It's such a cute little teapot. Great for a couple of cups!

Has a very delicate look and feel, but hasn't broken yet despite my clumsiness! I use it nearly daily now, perfect for personal use or sharing with one other person. The infuser goes down very deep into the pot, ensuring tea leaves will most definitely be fully submerged-something I appreciate, especially for teas that unfurl and expand. I will say it has a tendency to mist up on the inside, a miss if you want the clear glass aesthetic.

Great little pot that comfortably serves 2 people. Easy to clean and maintain. Design helps to enjoy the color and texture of the tea being made.

I have purchased this teapot more than once (due to breakage), and it is worth the investment! The tea is always so beautifully-flavored, when brewed in the glass, & it fits perfectly on my teapot warmer. Adagio is also very good about replacing broken parts, when you purchase the warranty.

Lovely little teapot. the spout feels a bit fragile but I haven't had an issue yet.

I love it! I have a one cup as well but I always end up wanting two cups; this is perfect.

Perfect for 2cup brewing. The glass is much thicker and sturdier than others have mentioned; ive banged it a couple times and was lucky my pot was unscathed. So long as your careful this should hold up well.

This is officially the cutest object I now own. Brews a comfortable amount for both group tea tasting and individual relaxation. Pours smoothly and without drips at any angle, just remember to keep a finger on the lid. 10/10 please do buy.

I have two issues with this teapot.
My first issue is that the spout on this teapot is so incredibly thin, I was nervous as soon as I took it out of the box, but people seem to like it, so I tried it.
The first day I used it, a piece of glass broke off of the spout and landed in my cup of tea.
I did not touch the spout to the cup when I poured so I have no idea how it broke.
I almost drank the piece of broken glass, but I happened to see it in time. I will be ordering a more sturdy teapot from somewhere else, this is just too thin and fragile for me.

My other issue is the fact that the order page has it sold alongside a lid. It was not clear in the product description that it already comes with a lid, so I ordered the lid too. Now I have two lids. I think Adagio needs to make it clear that the lid being sold next to it is a replacment/extra lid.

I bought this when my daughter accidentally broke my old pot. It is an adorable little pot and perfectly sized to get me through my morning without wasting extra tea, which I was doing with my old larger pot. My kids commented on how cute it is on our counter. I like that the glass top and handle don't get hot to the touch, and it has held up ok on the 'warming' zone on my stovetop.

Very nice, can get quite a few cups of tea out of it. I also enjoy watching as the tea infuses.

BUYERS BEWARE! This teapot is really nice except for one thing; it's just too delicate to use. I literally broke mine within the first 10 minutes of use. The lid fell off the pot and broke the spout and the lid while pouring. I was so upset with myself because I'm used to handling crystal wine glasses. I've been using those wine glasses for a while now, cleaning and polishing them (sometimes while still inebriated) and I've not broken a single one yet! But this thing broke itself from typical use. This teapot should either be made of thicker/stronger glass or redesigned so that the lid doesn't fall off by itself while using it.

I love this teapot - it is beautiful and makes the perfect amount of tea. I also use the insert alone in my travel mug sometimes.

Within the first week of my getting this teapot, while hand washing and drying the knob on the top of the lid came off. I did not purchase the insurance as I felt I did not need to, because my first teapot lasted for many years and I replace it because it got a crack near the spout. I was very disappointed but was glad I had kept my old lid.

It is the perfect size for what I need it for. I have made a lot of different kinds of tea in it now and I love how convienent it is.

I bought this so I'd have something to make blooming teas in. It's the perfect size to show them off. :)

This is the perfect little tea pot. The strainer is so fine, no tea leaves escape into the tea. My favorite part is that you can order a replacement lid if you happen to break it. I broke the lid of my last teapot, from another company, and they did not have replacement parts so I had to get rid of the whole teapot. I am so happy I found adagio!

I have reordered this pot after my cat knocked my first one off the counter and onto the tile floor. My original pot served me faithfully for several years, and I liked it so much that I had no second thoughts about replacing it with one of the same! That said, I think this pot has slightly thicker glass than my last one, although I am not sure if I am simply remembering wrongly. Either way, it's great, and this is my favorite easy tea pot.

The tealot is great. I love that you can see your tea being made. It's also great because you can keep the tea heated with a candle or on the stove.

The teapot itself is adorable and does everything I need a teapot to do. However, the glass seems very thin and I am counting the days until I knock it against something and break it.

Very nicely made, enough for a nice little tea party for two or a second cup for me :-) Someone had trouble with the lid falling off when pouring. My solution for this is to gently hold the lid with your thumb while pouring. As for the stainless insert, hot water stainless steal = hot stainless but not too hot to lift out with your fingers.

I gave this as a gift with some jasmine flowering tea. It was a huge hit!

Great size, 2 mugs or 4 tea cups. Spout does not drip.
