very cool teapot. perfect size for my freind and I to have a tea night

I love my purple teapot. it makes the perfect brew every time. Good size, too, holds about two cups.

I really love this tea pot and cup set. It holds just the right amount of tea, and the strainer is great. The one thing that I would say could be improved upon would be that I wish the strainer had some sort of a handle on it, since the metal can get very hot while the tea steeps.

I keep using this beauty over and over and over again.

What a great teapot! It holds just enough for a few cups and insultates quite well. I find that I need to make a new pot just as the tea inside is starting to go tepid. It's the perfect amount for those who want to do two or three cups but don't want their hot tea turning to iced tea after 10 minutes.

I love this tea set! The color is beautiful and it holds just enough for me and a friend to have tea together. It feels sturdy and have no fears of using it any time I can.

First real teapot! Love the color despite the difference from the one shown on the site. I think it adds to its charm. I only have one issue, the built in infuse basket allowed a lot of fine pieces through and my cup ( the last one served) had a bit of finer tea at the bottom which was not really pleasant. However for the price paid it is great!

This is such a great teapot! It's the perfect size for one giant mug, or 2 normal tea cups. It's microwaveable, which is great for my insanely busy lifestyle. And for $9? WHATTTTT. Such a fan.

I just got this and have already made and awesome cup of tea with it. My only complaint is that the color is a little uneven in places, like the pout and the handle.

This adorable teapot was the perfect wedding present for my ex-roommate and her now-husband! The purple was a great, rich color, and the size is perfect for two. However, if not poured quickly enough, it can drip, and small leaves (like rooibos) can fall through the strainer and make it into your cup. Regardless, I'd definitely recommend this pot!

This is mine and my husband's first teapot, and it is perfect for two people learning how to brew tea properly! Holds heat well and looks quite stylish.

I got this as a present for a friend and she seems to love it. There's quite a bit of room in the mesh for whatever tea you want. She combined a few flavors.

Well, I did order a plum teapot and plum cups, but upon opening my order, I found I had an orange teapot! The cups were plum though. I've talked to adagio customer service before, and I knew I could easily get it fixed, but I actually really loved to color combo. The pot has worked great so far too! When my fellow tea addict friend comes over it's nice to be able to brew up a large pot for the two us. If you want a relatively inexpensive and nice teapot, I would highly recommend this!

It's the perfect size for just enough tea for me! It keeps tea hot pretty well. Just don't forget the tea leaves are in there when you get cozy.

This is the first real teapot I've had, and I love it. It's super easy to clean, the lid doesn't fall off when I pour my tea, and it's pretty!

For the price, this is a great teapot. It's the perfect size, the lid sits nice and low so it doesn't fall off, and the inclusion of the tea basket is very nice. The tea basket could be easier to remove from the pot, but I feel like that's a minor complaint for an otherwise great teapot.

This teapot is the perfect size for me when I want a cup or three. Also it isn't hard to clean, which is always nice. I love the color too.

I love this so far! The strainer was fine enough that I got very little dust, the spout didn't drip and it's easy to clean since it's so wide on top! Definitely a wonderful value.

Nice little teapot. A few small things about it - the handle is really too small, so you risk burning your hand when you're pouring the first few cups. Everything but the handle gets really, really hot, so be careful. White shows through in a few places - mainly the top and the tip of the spout. The top on mine was chipped, but not seriously, or in a way that harms the tea, so I don't really care too much.

This is my first legitimate teapot. It's lovely in all aspects! It cleans up easily, has a pretty color, a very easy to clean strainer basket, and the spout has a wall that keeps leaves from being poured into my tea if they happen to get through the strainer or if I were to not use the strainer. I recommend this teapot!

A small, practical teapot. The color and shape are very cheerful. Some of the white ceramic shows through the purple along the edges. The tea basket works excellently for most teas, but does let through a little dust with finer teas (such as rooibos). It is easy to use and wash. Overall I'm very pleased, especially given its low cost.

I use this teapot at work daily. It does the job well. It holds about 2 cups of tea I wish it held closer to 4, but thats probably more just me.

this was really good except my only issue is that what the hot water I fet as if maybe chemicals could come out of the purple pain on the ceramic since it was also in the inside but still very good

I enjoy my orange personaliTEA so much that I'm getting a purple one for a friend! This is a study little every day teapot, excellent size, with a convenient infuser basket that reaches nearly all the way down to the bottom of the pot, allowing the leaves room to brew even when the pot's not completely full of water. The infuser itself is constructed to be somewhat springy and flexible, which means it can even fit into teapots other than this one, if you like. As others have mentioned, the color of the purple teapot is slightly lighter and less-saturated in person, but I think it's a stylish color, and I enjoy the slight touches of white peeking through the glaze. I hope my friend is as pleased with this teapot as I have been with my own!

This is my first non-Yixing tea set and when this arrived in the mail, today, I became rather excited. I used it today for brewing 'Perfect Carlos' from Cara McGee's NVCR fandom set and this is everything I really want in a teapot. It's classy, not too expensive, and the color is positively gorgeous. I would completely recommend it to others.

I loved this little tea pot! It perfect for me. I normally don't drink more than two cups of tea at a time, and this one only makes 3 at the very most. However, I must caution that if you leave it right over the burner, the handle will be hot too.

I love this! I really do. Makes the perfect amount of tea for me, and is super cute (the color selection for these is perfection). I actually don't have much problem with this pot dripping much when pouring, even if I fill it, so that's a bonus for me.

Love the color! I have used this many times already since I received it in the mail a few days ago and it really works well. It keeps my tea warm and I love how big and spacious the infuser basket is!

This is absolutely adorable. The only problem I have is that I don't use the basket that comes with it, which causes problems when it comes to cleaning out the tea leaves. They put several small holes rather than one big hole for the spout, so I can't just wash the leaves out from there...

This teapot is of quality ceramic, and the holes in the strainer are small enough not to let too many particles of tea leaves slip through. It perfectly fills two large mugs of tea (or lets me have one mug hot and then, once I've forgotten about it and it's cooled, have another cup iced!). The color is also gorgeous. My main quibble is that the pot does sometimes dribble a bit as you pour it, though this generally only seems to happen if you overfill it or try to pour to quickly. Be patient, and this teapot will treat you well. I would certainly recommend it to a friend!

AMAZING tea pot! love the color too! keeps tea very very warm! The color IS a bit lighter than pictured, but I like the actual color better than in the photo. I use this teapot every day for single cups of tea, as I'm the only tea drinker at my house. However I've made extra tea before, and left it in the pot until I finished my first cup. It stayed fairly hot!

These are fantastic tea pots. The large infusion basket is perfect for the teas that really take on a lot of water and space like chamomile or some of the fruity herbals. The spout is well formed and does not drip after pouring! And the purple is so pretty!

It's a lovely little teapot, aesthetically pleasing and also pretty great as far as how well it works. The only complaint is that while it holds heat well and the handle stays cool, the rest of the pot gets almost too hot to handle if you accidentally brush your knuckles while trying to pour. Overall, it's a great little teapot though, and I'm so pleased with it!

These cups are adorable. My only problem is that the color is a little duller than I expected.

I love this thing. Its a beautiful color, though not as dark as in the photo. I didnt have any problem with leaking and it makes 2 -2 1/2 cups of tea and thats just perfect for me. Thanks adagio!

This is a perfect little teapot - the 24 oz size makes just over two regular-size mugs of tea. The mesh of the infuser basket keeps most of the dust out of the tea, and I've had no issues with dripping from the spout (although you have to be careful to keep an eye on the top - I've managed a couple of small spills that way). The purple is a bit lighter than the pictures showed, and lighter in the edges in a way that makes it look a little worn (in a good way). I've used it at least once a day since getting it. I might be in love. The only real problem I've had is that the metal infuser basket gets *hot* and I usually have to lever it out with a knife or a spoon.

This purple tea pot is so adorable. I have a little trouble with the spout dribbling but nothing that couldn't be handled with practice and care. It brews beautifully and is certainly aesthetically pleasing. So points for functionality and beauty!

A very pretty teapot, but nowhere near the color I expected. I've got the same teapot in chocolate, so I know that it's a fantastic pot, and it brews a nice pot of tea, of course, but there seems to have been an issue with the glaze on this one--it's very thin-looking. I'd call the color more of a grape color than anything else, and the white bisque of the clay shows through on the handle, tip of the spout, and edges of the lid. It's not unattractive, but the difference really shows next to the other pot from the same line.

I love the color, but the lid doesn't quite fit perfectly so spills have become quite a hazard. It's a pity - I bought this to replace my old white personaliTEA pot, which was perfect and lasted me several years before I accidentally broke it!

Best purchase I've ever made from Adagio! The purple color is not as dark and matte as it seems in the picture, it's actually a lighter color with white 'worn' spots around the spout, handle, etc. The tea basket is so handy, plenty roomy enough for oolongs or greens. Makes about 2 normal mugs, 1 super large mug, or 3/4 little tea cups.

This little tea pot is great. It was much smaller than I expected but the small size makes it portable. I actually got this for my mom on mothers day and she said she was going to take it to work to share tea with friends. Having the built in stainless steel filter was nice as well.

I'm really glad I got this teapot and the matching teacups. I love the color! The pot is smaller, so a full pot will fill up one of my large mugs. When I use it with the matching teacups, it helps me pace myself so I'm not drinking too much tea (if there could be such a thing). The pot keeps the tea hot for a while. Warning! Taking out the mesh strainer to prevent the tea from oversteeping can be painful! I use spoons to get it out so I don't burn myself.

The photo shows a gorgeous deep, gorgeous purple, but when my pot arrived it was a weak, medium berry color. I'd have kept it, but mine arrived without a lid, so I had to send it back and took the opportunity to change the color.
