I have only used it once, but I already love it. It is a good size for sharing, and it kept the rest of the tea warm while I was enjoying my cup. The filter was easy to clean, and it poured spill-free.

an I just say that this teapot is so perfect to brew my loose leaf teas? It`s the perfect size, the strainer isn`t hard to clean out (hail jesus) and you don`t need to turn it upside down to get every drop of your tea out. Only problem is it is porcelain so it heats up and becomes rather hot so make sure to hold it by the handle. lso wait for it to cool down before washing it. you don't want it to crack!

My lovely purple pot makes me happy! It's a perfect size for making as much tea as I want (normally two cups) and it holds the heat of the water really well. If you want to start using loose tea, definitely purchase one of these.

Works well, and has a very deep, rich color. The tea basket isn't as large as I expected but it's a good little teapot.
The plum color is awesome. The cups are perfect. The spout doesn't drip at all. I only have two gripes. 1) The holes on the strainer let a little too much tea through so the last cup is full of dust. 2) When the strainer is in the lid fits nicely but when it is off, it is very loose. You can't beat it for the price though. Love it!
A very attractive teapot! I have a cast iron teapot that I use for greens and oolongs since they absorb flavors over time, so I purchased this teapot to use when I'm in the mood for black teas. It holds a good amount of tea, and is very attractive. The purple is faded around 'seams' in the teapot, though--like around the edge of the spout, and the lip of the lid, etc. But it doesn't detract from the appearance much. The infuser is WONDERFUL! It's very large, so even if you're steeping an oolong the leaves have enough room to expand fully, which has always been a problem for me with other teapots. It is kind of hard to get out when the tea is done steeping, though. I have to jiggle it with my fingernails, which can be difficult since I like to keep mine short. And it keeps the tea warm for a while, but dribbles a little bit when you pour... not enough to be a big deal, but it can be slightly annoying. And I got two fo the cups to go with this teapot, and they're just the right size! Attractive purple on the outside, and a nice white on the inside so you can really see the color of the tea! My cast iron cups are black inside, so it's nice to use this pot for my green teas sometimes so I can enjoy the color of the tea, too. Overall it's a nice pot, and I'd definitely recommend it. :)
The teapot works really well, I haven't had any issues with drips or comfortable pouring. The cups are also really cute -- they're small, but nicely shaped and perfect for cupping in your hands. The only issue is that the coloring on the teapot is not as even as pictured -- it is very pale or even white along all the edges -- so it doesn't look quite as nice as I expected. It's still a pretty nice little teapot, though.

Hold a deceptively large amount of tea for such a small-looking teapot! I also like that that lid sits down inside the top of the pot so it stays on when you pour. The plum color is really beautiful as well.

Perfect size for one or two people, or one person that enjoys tea! Only minor issue is that it tends to drip when trying to pour and gets rather hot. The infuser works great, and looks very nice as well!
This is an adorable little tea pot that is just perfect when I know I'm going to want another cup of tea, or when I have a guest over. I love the color and it holds two normal sized cups of tea (Which I tend to have big mugs so that can be annoying, but not the fault of the teapot's!)

The teapot is the same good quality as the white one I had before and recently dropped on tile floor. I was very excited about finding purple teapot, but when it arrived, the color was nothing as pictured. It is much lighter, and has 'aging' applied, so all the edges have lighter color, as if the teapot was very old and the paint rubbed off with age. That was a disappointment. I wanted solid deep purple color as pictured. I am keeping it because it is cheap and I need a teapot but I will not buy it again
I love my new teapot! Other than being adorable and the perfect size for two people to enjoy a good cup of tea, I can NOT stop using it. I received this pot in the mail two days ago and have already made five pots of tea. This pot is also super easy to clean. The tea doesn't cling to the mesh basket and the pot is small enough to be manageable to clean in the sink. The only slight downside is how hot the teapot gets. However, if you drape a tea towel around it, the tea stays warm longer and it is easier to carry. The color is beautiful as well, I like how it isn't completely even- this effect adds a lot of character.
I ordered the pot and the cups. The color is definitely pretty but as others have said it is more of a glazed purple than a solid color. There is a little drip but that diminishes if you pour slowly. It holds around 3 cups of tea.

I love this pot! The large basket inside allows me to brew my tea as strong as I like while the deep-set lid keeps everything together, even when pouring. I'm already choosing which color to buy for my aunt!

This is my first teapot, and it is great! The purple color is beautiful. The infuser is wonderful, there weren't any leaves in my mug at all. I like to drink a few mugs of tea on weekend mornings, and making a pot of tea is much easier than infusing each mug separately. I love it!

This tea pot is absolutely adorable. I fell in love with it when I saw it and bought it on the spot. As it is ceramic, the tea can get cold after forty five minutes or so, but I always guzzle the tea down before that happens anyway. The matching tea cups make this set perfect!

I have a purple tea pot. That makes everything better. For reals though, this thing does make great tea. Far surpasses the stuff I made before this. There weren't even any leaves in my tea! And it's very purple.
UPDATE (19 Aug 2012): Adagio has changed their picture to be a darker shade. This is closer, but the pot is a touch lighter than the new version (or how the new version appears on my monitor). Be accepting of a little variance in color and it'll work out great. ORIGINAL POST: This is a great little 'two mug' teapot. The color pictured by Adagio is a bit inaccurate. The color is less rich/saturated - very fitting for the 'Plum' name or the 'eggplant' listed in the url. The spout of the teapot seems to be improved over my older white version - I get fewer spills. A great find, especially for the cost. In the hopes of giving others a better idea of the look of the pot, I uploaded a photo. Two things I really love about this teapot: the mesh infuser basket, which is huge and very nearly reaches the bottom of the pot (allowing smaller brews) AND filters out rooibos, and the spout, which is much more drip-free than most other teapots I've used or owned. The wide mouth makes it super easy to clean, too. I bought this for my roommate and I wish I'd snagged one for myself while they were still doing the free cups promotion! D:
Such a cute tea set! Holds about 2 1/2 cups comfortably, 3 cups makes it hard to pour without spilling. Perfect for when you want two mugs of the same tea without resteeping.
