So fun to use, this matcha tea is so new to me, it's fun to make and now my favorite by far.
The accessories are fairly priced and are also pleasant to use. I start my day with a cup of matcha as advised by my doctor and by using these tools it really helps to cement the tea ritual as a part of waking up. The scoop that I received fits perfectly inside of the sifter which makes it easy to break up all clumps in the matcha powder.
These make for a nice addition to my matcha experience. It is hard to be consistent with the scoop, but it makes the process more fun with the flavor/strength variation that occurs.
The little matcha whisk does what it is supposed to. Perhaps a bit flimsier than some of the other whisks that I have seen.

I had read a review that pointed out matcha was truly different while using the correct accessories and they were absolutely right. I don't think matcha should be enjoyed any other way. These absolutely make such a significant difference in the taste and enjoyment of the matcha. I am absolutely glad I got them.
The whisk works really well to froth up my tea. I really enjoy using it! The container it arrived in was cracked, but I didn't need it, so that was totally fine.
I got the matcha strainer! It's heavier than I expected! It has a nice, wide mouth too, which will work perfectly.

I bought the strainer because I was tired of the fanning at the bottom of my rooibos tea. It certainly gets a majority of pieces but not 100%. Never-the-less it is much more tolerable than only using the strainer that comes with the double walled porcelain mugs.

I don't drink matcha, but on the recommendation of another tea drinker, I bought the strainer to filter out all the tiny bits and crumbs from those teas that always leave sediment. I brew my tea in a pot with a metal infuser basket, then pour through this matcha strainer. It does a great job of resting on top of a cup and so far it catches 100% of all the sediment that my normal infuser lets through. It doesn't take up a lot of room in the drawer, and it is perfect for the task I bought it for.
If you want to make authentic matcha, then a matcha whisk in particular is basically necessary. This one is lightweight and seems relatively sturdy despite that, and has made several batches of delicious matcha for me already. Seems to me that it was worth the price.

The matcha whisk is really nice for making matcha. I had previously been using a regular small kitchen whisk, but it didn't always do the same job at mixing the matcha and getting the right amount of froth.
Can’t live without them! Tried the fork and the whisk route; did not work. I now enjoy a proper matcha ceremony every morning :)

I got the matcha sifter. It’s nice! A good size, density, easy to clean. Just what I needed.
The quality of these accessories is good. I ve enjoyed using them so far - I got the whisk, the scoop, and the strainer. The scoop I mostly use to press down the matcha powder in the strainer rather than for measuring/scooping the matcha.
The one tip I have is to make sure the strainer is completely dry before using, as if it has any moisture the matcha will stick together and gunk up the strainer.
The only minor complaint I have is that I wish these came with any sort of instructions. I am new to using all the fancy accessories, so I was kind of clueless on how it was done and had to look up videos on YouTube.

Recently purchased the small strainer. It's exactly what I was needing -- having dealt with a much smaller one, for too long. Extra fine mesh does its job perfectly.

Set works great. I'm really happy with it. Whisking it properly takes some getting used to, but if you uncurl the whisk ends on accident, you can reshape them with a little work (just warm it and get it went and ease it back to its curly position and hold it a little, and it'll curl back. Or did with mine!)
This chasen is durable and useful but not that expensive. Other places sell them for twice as much but the product itself is not that different. I will buy this from here again.
Bought the whole set and no complaints. I was surprised at what a difference the strainer really makes! No clumps at all, not even tiny ones, when you add the strainer to your matcha ritual. Highly recommended.
