These are perfect I know have a home for my match whisk so it does not get broken!! Nice quality I also got the spoon which is perfect for getting just the right amount of Matcha.

The whisk is very nice, and comes in a little plastic tube that can also be used for storage. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to clean, too, just rinse and let it dry. Don't be too rough with it!
I had been using multiple substitutes for a matcha whisk and the tea tastes significantly better using a real whisk. I 'm not a huge fan of this whisk in particular. I've used a friend's from another brand I like better. But it's certainly good for the task. The sifter is a godsend. And I'm spilling much less matcha with the spoon. Those I could not rave about more.
I got the whisk and the whisk holder. Both items were packed very nicely. Items themselves felt of good quality and worked just fine for my first cup of homemade matcha.
Useful items in good shape, seem to be holding up well to frequent use. The whisk is great for making a smooth and foamy mix, and the scoop measures perfectly.
The chasen (whisk) is a well-made bamboo whisk, and has so far performed well! There were a couple of loose bamboo pieces when it arrived, but it was easy enough to remove them, and there was no impact on the functionality of the whisk itself. The handle is a bit narrower than other whisks I've used, which I prefer as I have smaller hands.

works infinitely better than my old method of a fork for making match! whisk is easier to clean than I expected, I store it tines up in a small jam jar (like the tablespoon size ones)
These seriously make life so much easier. I used to always have clumps when I made matcha lattes, but the accessories eliminate that completely.
Guess what: an actual matcha whisk works so much better than chopsticks or a fork. Treat it gently.

Matcha whisk: My first time using one of these, and it worked really well. It's holding up nicely to whisking in a chawan, and makes a much more consistent matcha than the electric frother I was trying to use previously. 5/5

Matcha strainer: Came with sharp areas that I had to file down with a metal file. Mesh is a nice size for sifting, works well after filing but does not seem high quality. Eventually replaced it with a nicer Japanese strainer. 2/5
I’m still learning to use this set but can use the strainer as an infuser by laying on top of mug filled with hot water.

I bought the matcha whisk holder. The whisk fits nicely...helps keep the whisk in shape and dry. A nice accessory to have with my matcha set.

I ordered the strainer because I wanted a small, fine meshed strainer for use with gong fu sessions. It works well for any steeping method to catch the stray leaf that might sneak into my cup. I have not used it with matcha because I rarely drink matcha ( I prefer to add it to smoothies or homemade ice cream.).

I've been using an aluminum whisk for my matcha for years, and if I had realizes what a game changer a proper bamboo matcha whist is, I would have made the change much much sooner. Well-crafted and well-worth the price.
I purchased the matcha whisk and I like it. It didn't come with a drying stand so I let it dry on it's side on my dish drying rack. I read an article online about how to properly care for a bamboo whisk, and it helped me a lot! I recommend anyone do that research before using the whisk for the first time to make it last long.
This is a beautiful set. What is nice is you can also buy the individual pieces. Since I had already had the whisk, (works great), I bought the teacup sieve this time. It is JUST perfect. I use it mostly when icing my hot tea. I put my filter in my tea cup, add tea leaves and some beet sugar, pour in hot water and steep. Then I remove the filter and let it cool. After cooling sufficiently, I pour the tea into a large tumbler filled with ice. I put the sieve over the ice filled tumbler and pour it through that to catch those fine grounds that get left in the bottom of the tea cup. Works perfectly, and often those are very very fine rooibos grounds but it catches them beautifully. I can also use this when straining bone broth by the cup when I don't want to be bothered with cheesecloth and that mess. It is slower, but it is so much neater.
Cannot have Matcha without the right tools! The Matcha accessories are perfect and work great. Waiting on the Matcha stand to hold all my tools in one easy spot. Worth the purchase to make that perfect cup of Matcha tea!
