I bought this after seeing my infuser became stained (especially from black teas) and I couldn't get it clean. However, after dropping it in the silverware basket of the dishwasher, it came out as good as new. It is still nice to have as a back-up.
These little filters are awesome. They keep all the leaves out of your cup!

For some reason, the original infuser kept 'floating up' every now and then, so I replaced it. This new one is better but it still comes up every now and then, which allows the leaves to come out.
I can't believe I have lived without this. It'is awesome.
Now that I know microwaving warps these little things, I probably won't need another replacement for awhile.

Great product, works quite well. As simple as adding hot water (or heating it in the teapot), add tea leaves, wait and pour!
A really awesome idea, and easy to keep on the desk! Easy to clean and use, a perfect addition to any cube or office.
There is a little trick to getting these things in. You have to soften them in hot water before pushing them in place for the first time.
Does not work as smoothly as Teavana's version, but is okay. Wish it came with a matching mug (would have paid extra for this).
A handy item to have when one of your other ones gets pressed into place by a spoon that punctures it. :( I am really glad they offer these.

I have had this thing for 2 months and now i cant live with out it. The only problem i have had is with the filter popping out but i have found it wont happen if you pour your water on the side rather than right on the filter.

The filter that came with my ingenuiTEA didn't fit well and kept popping out of place and floating to the top. I ordered a replacement and it's fit well for months now. There must just be slight variations in the manufacturing.

I orderd this and din't realize it was for the smaller infuser when i have the larger one.
I am really loving this gizmo! Makes it really easy to work with loose teas and unlock all their flavor potential. The only problem is the filter - I didn't realize it was supposed to stay in the cup and not come loose only after seeing other complaints! It would be nice if it either (1) was a permanent part of the cup, and didn't come loose, OR (2) it had a longer post on the center so you could push it back in place easier (and use the filter as a way of cleaning out most of the leaves by pulling the filter up out of the cup by the post!). Anyhow, this is a second one, because I got tired of lugging the other one back and forth from my office at school, so obviously, I like it enough in spite of its minor flaws to keep using it!
It is a teapot that looks neat, that has a good filter, and that makes it hard to see how full your cup is while filling it.
Once I figured out how this worked, it's been a lot of fun. Cleaning out loose leaves after brewing is a bit of a chore, though. I'm just glad it's dishwasher-safe!
Being a first time tea drinker, I wasn't really sure what to get. Teapot, kettle, ect... I figured I would be making a lot of tea at home and work so opted for something portable. This teapot is really something. It's small, microwavable and the autopour feature is brilliant.

This has worked very well. I got extras for people I gave the ingenuetea as a gift too.
It's good that a replacement infuser is offered as you might inadvertantly throw it out when you empty the container (like I did). The problem is that the replacements are a little bit bigger and will not fit.I went through four of them and they were all too big. The difference is ever so slight (probably due to injection molding construction), but it can be remedied by sanding the edge a little then it will snugly fit. The irony now is that after several uses it now fits a little loose like the original. Oh well ... the ingenuiTEA is still my favorite way of brewing my tea at work.
It's a decent product, its easy to use but I recently got a good quality tea stick, now those are easy to clean.
This little gadget is so awesome, that I had to buy another one to take to work with me!
My boyfriend and I have three of these between the two of us, one in each of our apartments and one at his office. I haven't had the problem of the filter popping out--and I run it through the dishwasher about once a week (just to get it extra clean). This is the only gadget I've found which actually keeps rooibos and cammomile in the POT and not in the cup!
Wow, excellent product. Steeps my teas perfectly. The 'food-grade plastic' maintains the heat of the water all the way through the steep. Plastic also appears to be rugged enough to the point where I wouldnt be afraid to throw it in a backpack and go. Excellent product for making 16oz of tea correctly.

really like the design. be careful not to overfill using a normal coffee mug. a little less than 3/4 full seems to be about right.
I love quality tea, but I live in a dorm so I need something that can take a fall or two. This is perfect for college students because the plastic makes it durable, yet the tea it makes is wonderful. I hope you enjoy your pot as much as I have.
Just don't put it down on an uneven surface! I keep forgeting it's meant to empty out over a mug!
The plastic filter separates from the bottom more often than I'd like. Adagio's been great, however - they're sending me a free replacement filter.
I go through enough of these, I wish they'd come in bargain packs.
Couldn't possibly live without this gem. It makes making a cup of tea an art form! Easy to use to experiment with blends of Adagio tea. Will probably buy another soon to leave at the office.
From other people's reviews, I wouldn't be putting this in the microwave to preserve the fuser. But all in all, a very handy single serving brewer

I love my ingenuiTEA, but I wish the infusers lasted longer! This one warped almost immediately from microwave use.
I can't say enough great stuff about the IngenuiTEA dispenser. It sits perfectly on my desk at work, and i find being able to vividly see the tea brewing a very calming excercise.
