Haven't had to use it yet, but glad that I have one here just in case. I would hate to not have one around, I read other reviews stating you will need one quickly. So I got one with my first order.. I have been lucky not to have to have one as of yet:)
This is ok. I think I must have done something funky to my ingenuiTEa as I took the infuser out to wash it and it's never been the same since. I thought a new one would fix the problem, but they don't fit properly and sometimes float to the top. I just push it down with a teaspoon, but it can be a pain.
I bought several of these as gifts for relatives. All of them love it.

My dad lives in Malaysia and, well... he isn't sure but he thinks that he lost his ingenuiTEA infuser in the toilet...don't ask me how. Anyway, he was thrilled when I told him that I had just ordered and received a replacement for it. I just hope it wont end at the same place as the first one.

What can I say, glad they offer the infuser, I've had my ingenui tea pot for about a year and have replaced the infuser twice so far, I use my ingenuei tea pot all day long, you can find the infuser by clicking on the ingenui tea pot, I had a hard time finding it.
I use my ingenuiteas (home & work) so much that the infusers finally needed to be replaced. What a great product!
Perks my ingenuitea right up! Daily use (no matter how well you clean it) needs a new one about every 4-6 months or so, or the teas start to take on the taste of one another. If you're picking up an ingenuitea, it'd be a good idea to pick up one or two of these at the same time.
I ordered a replacement infuser for my ingenuitea, but it was actually too large and did not fit. But customer service was great and I recieved another one in the mail just a few days later and it worked out perfectly.

It's amazing! I never knew how easy it was to make loose tea! As an avid ex-coffee drinker in college, I think this is a great thing to have if you're trying to kick the coffee habit. Now I use this teapot everyday! I love it!
I am not sure how to review this one. I love the ingenuitea concept. easy to brew and watch the tea. Filter is easy to replace.
Works well. Would recommend for any tea drinker - just put in micro, heat up water and add tea - the nice thing is that you can see how strong the tea is - I often forget how long I leave my tea in and sometimes ends up very bitter.
I ordered this with my starter set because other reviewers said the ingenuiTEA filter clogs after a few months - it's worked fine so far.
I have been using my ingenuiTEA a lot lately and the infuser is showing some discoloration. I am happy to have a spare so I won't have any tea downtime.

I use my ingenuiTEA about once a day and I find that the strainer becomes loose and dirty after three months.
I love the IngenuiTEA. The pot and the filter wash well. But using black teas will stain the mesh. Being able to get replacement filters is great.
After a while the infuser is going to get bogged down with a fine sediment from the tea and may get stained a dark color. Good to get a replacement after a while.
This tea pot is perfect for the loose teas. Makes a great gift!

I had heard so much good about this tea infuser before buying it, but it still surprised me how amazing it actually is. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and the tea comes out with NO remains of tea leaves in it, just perfect. I love it!
It fit very snug at first but now it's nearly as loose as my first one.
My old filter had loosened somehow over time and wasn't sitting properly, but this one snapped right into place perfectly.
Very easy to carry around, and extremely convenient. Cleaning is also easy if the infuser is used to keep the leaves separated. I recommended not to fill the teapot with too much water if you plan on heating the water to boiling point, it will spill over and make a rather inconvenient mess. However, if you are planning to heat water at 180°F, it will not be prone to bubbling over.
For somereason this filter does not stay in place and always floats to the surface. Before I can put in some tea leaves, I need to poke this into place with the teaspoon.
How did I manage without? I have one for the office, two at home, one in the motorhome and for travel...you get the picture.
Worked really well, no spillage. I only have one complaint. It is too big to fit in my microwave (it advertises as 'microwave safe', so it would be nice if was microwave usuable!).
I haven't needed them but it's good to know they are there! If you place an order and almost qualify for free shipping get these.
This is a boon to anyone who's too lazy to deal with loose tea on a daily basis. I was, but no longer. Ingenuitea works great - I nuke it 3-5 times a day and it holds up well, though the plastic is starting to get a bit of discoloration. Would be perfect if they made it out of glass/pyrex. Ah well. Love it anyway.
Blows away people who've never seen it. I like that I can microwave it. A bit of a pain to get the leaves out, though.
If you are waffling between buying the small one or the big one, I'd go with the big one. I kind of wish I had bought the bigger size. This is a really handy thing to have around if you make a lot of tea! Easy to clean, too!
It takes too much time to clean especially if you use it at the office where you don't have time. I like something simpler so I ordered and now use the paper filters. It's great. No hassle and no clean up. You can have as many cups of teas as you like and not have to clean out the teapot each time.
Fantastic product that makes a nice cuppa every time. I use the spent leaves to enrich the soil of house plants.
