This item works like a charm. I often want to make more volume though (ie for myself and a friend), and it takes a long time with just one of these.
love this thing! Perfect for a nice big cup in the morning. My only problem is that my replacement filter isn't fitting it too well.

I got this for my mom because I already had one. It's great to take to work and super easy to clean.
This works pretty much as good as the first one should have. I accidentally put a hole in my first one (totally my mistake). This one filters just as good but doesn't come unstuck anymore! so that's a total plus.
a must to order if you drink the tea's frequently - washing it is ok, but having a fresh one on hand does wonders for leftover taste/tea residue.
My ingenuiTEA is easily my new favorite toy! The only downfall is that the valve (on my unit, at least) leaks a drop every few minutes so I make sure to keep it's tray handy but other than that, I have no other complaints. I highly reccommend this product.

Pretty easy to install - use a plastic spoon to press down the edge and be careful, as I can see how there is a probability you could tear the filter.
I kept wondering if I should buy this teapot, and I'm so glad I did. Using teaballs and the teakettle takes time, and a stove is not always available. This pot can be used in the microwave, which is a major plus.

This teapot couldn't make steeping tea any easier. It's great for multiple cups of hot tea or for steeping a pitcher of iced tea. It cleans easily and is one of the few that I found with replaceable filters. Great for steeping tea while away at work. A must have for any tea drinker!

I ordered a replacement infuser for both the 16oz and 32oz pots. The only one I replaced so far was the 16oz. It was VERY difficult to snap in. Almost to the point that I gave up and thought about returning it. However, I forced it to fit and told everyone not to try to take it out. I don't think I could get it back in again.
Did exactly what it's supposed to do. I keep one for blacks, one for greens and one for flavors. They are a little tight at first, but with use they get easier to install/remove.
I love my ingenuiTEA, but unfortunately while I was cleaning it, my filter fell out and I lost it. So I bought a new one; but when I tried to put it in I accidentally made part of it tear, and then I did something that I shouldn't have done and tried using a lighter to meld it back together making even more wholes in it, so now, yeah I have to buy a new one again. It's really a pain to put in, just make sure you don't push down on the mesh part, and only on the hard plastic part to get it in, or else it might tear.
I read many of the reviews, and was concerned about the issues others were having with the screen dislodging when the hot water is added. I talked to an agent thru Chat, and she was very pleasant to work with. I bought the teapot, and am I glad I did. The screen on mine has dislodged twice, but that was it. Otherwise, it works amazingly well. It actually makes the "ritual" of making tea that much more fun. definitely pick this up.
I use this every day to make my morning tea when I don't have time to relax and brew gong fu style. So easy to use and easy to clean.
hard to put in, but after soaking it in boiling water for a minute or two, I was able to squeeze it in!
I found it a little hard to put in (seemed too big to fit?), so I had to use a wooden kitchen utensil to, literally, forge it in. Once in, however, I had no other issues with it.
this does not fit into the pot well at all and pops out. It comes with no instructions which led to ripping the infuser trying to make it fit!
These last quite some time, so the low price is quite a value. Just be sure to wash them after every use so they don't retain the scent of every different tea.

I've tried countless ways to brew loose leaf tea. From mesh strainers to tea balls to special tea pots. I was thrilled when I saw this product won for best way to brew loose leaf tea on America's Test Kitchen. I immediately ordered one. I LOVE IT. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is flawless. BPA free - dishwasher safe - and doesn't drip to leave tea stains on my counter tops. I've encouraged all my tea loving friends to buy one! I even use it to make iced tea for my family.
I have used this a few times and it works well. Very nice that I can also use it in the microwave.
a little stiff to try to put in but i am sure if i heat it up it might go in. i would order 1 extra filter when you buy this broduct just in case i still love this i just hate cleaning out the leaves afterwards!

The repalcement infuser fits tighter and does not fall out like the original did. Like the Adagio Teamaster recommended, if I preheat the ingenuitea (which I usually do not do), the first infuser is not as loose.
I bought a couple of these to have on hand. So far I have not had to replace one due to wear and tear. I did order the bigger Iced IngenuiTEA teapot for at home (hubby always wanted a cup with me), so I sold my smaller one to a friend and replaced the diffuser. Super easy to do, didn't have a problem and it is seated nice and tight in the pot. I did use a big metal spoon to push down on it on the plastic parts so as not to rip the mesh. Easy...Peasy.
This one had the same problem the other one had. After time, the infuser has to be pushed down otherwise it will rise to the top (ruining the "batch"). I just use a spoon or something to push it down after the first bit of water hits the filter.
Great tea infuser! Works as advertised and pleasure to use. It is somewhat difficult to clean inside though as leaves stick to the bottom.
i have to saty this mechanism is awesome i love the ease of just putting the cup under and watching it pour i though it was gunna be a little bigger and a little disappointed , but its still a great device none the less also i have to use a spoon to dig out all the leaves afterwards because i dont have a garbage disposal but i will use this thing for ever

Was hard to put in I do enjoy the loose tea using the ingenuiTea small pot.
I own two ingenuiTEA teapots and use them both daily despite my usual dislike for plastic in my home, and my preference for traditional cookware. The ingenuiTEA tea infuser is an excellently crafted gravity tea infuser and ensure that I make perfect cup after perfect cup even on my most hectic, crazy mornings.
Totally awesome, makes brewing loose tea easier than using bags. Every serious tea drinker need this!
I am sending it back-I hope the replacement they send back is better. I tried over and over (even with a little oil on the edges) to put this in my pot-it's just too big. I never had a problem with my other infuser-it went in and out easily.
I have a coffee dripper made with the same mechanism. Both of these are fantastic, and the ingenuiTEA may be my favorite way to make tea now.-
The replacement infuser for the ingenuiTEA solved all my previous issues. It's a *very* tight seal and doesn't pop out. I actually haven't removed it since I inserted it to make sure it stays snug for a good long time.
Good replacement infuser. You have to get a new one every once in a while afterall
Great pot!, I wash it right away though after I make my tea so the aroma won't stay in the pot.. since I have more tea's. It's good though, my friend thought it was 50$ alone and I had to correct him lol.
Ordered one with my ingenuiTea so I could have a spare. Tested it out and everything works as it should.
The replacement did not come when I ordered it. I chatted will customer support and was very impressed with the service. The replacement was delivered two days later.
Did not fit the ingenuiTEA for which it was intended. (An older generation, perhaps?) Seems to be very good quality, though. We were given a second ingenuiTEA for Christmas; perhaps it will fit in this one. It's hard to give it a "bad" review--I've never given anything on Adagio a BAD review!--but it feels like a bit of a waste of time/money to get something that doesn't fit at all. Furthermore, I bought it to replace the filter in my old one (received as a gift) that never really fit ITS ingenuiTEA--would bubble up when water was poured over the leaves! Sigh. :-(

Good item and a fair price. They can be washed with a brush several times before needing to be replaced too.
