I have two indenuiTEAs. I do not exaggerate when I say that it is the best thing to happen to individual loose leaf tea drinking since, well, ever. A perfect brew every time. The plastic filters need to be replaced about once or twice a year, but that's a lot cheaper and better for the environment than tea bags or paper filters. I would not give it up for anything.
I purchased both ingenuTEA sizes and am loving them both! Easy to use, easy to clean! I haven't needed to change the filter yet, so I am unable to attest to how hard/easy that is, but everything else is great! I highly recommend them both!

Great for brewing! I've had many mishaps with loose leaf tea brewing, but this experience has been mostly perfect. The only things that prevent me from giving this product a full five stars is the (widely known by now) fact that occasionally the filter pops up while the water is being poured - though this can be avoided by pouring a small test amount in first and pressing the filter down if it begins to rise ominously - and also an unfortunate incident or two where the valve had become stuck slightly open. I am still not certain how it happened or how the issue resolved itself but because it happened more than once (Read: twice) I felt it was worth mentioning.
However, If I knew what I know now about the IngenuiTEA at the moment I bought the thing, I would still buy it, as it is light, portable, and super easy and convenient to use and clean.
I love this thing! We now have 3; one for home, one for me at work, and one for my husband at work. Its brilliant. Perfectly strained tea every time.
Unfortunately I've broken a few of the filters for my ingenuiTEA (my own fault) and have had to replace them. Sometimes they'll come loose after turning the teapot over, but they're fairly easy to put back in place.
This teapot is the perfect size to make a thermos of tea to take to class, and the filter works great even with the tiny leaf bits in rooibos and mate teas.
Occasionally have trouble keeping it clean, although the dishwasher usually manages. the smaller one works better with the filter that pops out. the larger with the filter that does gets disgusting quickly.
This is a great device to use to introduce tea into your life for the first time. It is beyond idiot-proof, extraordinarily easy to clean, and very handy when heating water on the stove is not a practical or available option. Just fill it with water, microwave it, add your tea, and steep! Goes right into the cup without a drop spilled.
Love, love, love this tea pot. I enjoy watching the color develop as the tea steeps, and some teas actually rise and fall while steeping-like dancing! Every tea or blend has it's own shade-beautiful to see. The ease of emptying the pot into my various sized cups/mugs is amazing. Some people don't like the way the plastic starts to hold the tea stains, but since I don't display the teapot, I don't care at all.
I have given the ingenuiTEA teapot as a gift and will do so again.
So happy to receive my replacement filter last night! A little tricky to install, but thanks to a review I had read previously suggesting to heat some water in the ingenuiTEA first, I was able to get it placed in time to enjoy some afternoon tea :)

This is my new favorite toy! So happy I ordered this! I plan on ordering some more as Christmas presents. I was worried that it wouldn't fit over the mugs I like to use, but the bottom is pretty big, and so far it has fit over all the ones I use. I have to say this makes tea drinking not only easier, but also kinda more fun!
You should have an extra infuser just in case. Mine had an "accident" and the replacement was here in two days.

As a college student, I highly recommend this teapot. First of all, it only makes one cup, so you can easily use the tealeaves (for shame, for shame) a second time. It is easy to heat up the water, put in the tea leaves, leave it for the desired number of minutes, and either A) put it in a to-go cup, or B) put it in your mug. Either way, a delicious cup of tea quickly awaits without all the hassle of creating your own teabags or having to make a whole pot of tea when you only want a cup. Must have!

The replacement infuser did not fit my ingenuiTEA (16 oz). I sent it back for replacement but I have not received any type of replacement yet and its been over 2 weeks.
I got great use out of the original filter, im sure i could still use it too after about half a year. But im glad i can buy these. inexpensive and a must have for ingenuitea lovers like myself
It is great...just make sure you soak it in hot water before you try to install it.

I wish they had a giant size ingenuiTEA!!! The best invention ever for loose tea fans. You can microwave the water - great for home or office and replacement filters are available. It does get a bit tea-stained after a while but I could not live without it. Have bought several as gifts. Have one for home and one for the office. Plan to send one to my daughter who just left for college.You will not be disappointed.

I would recommend getting a spare filter when you order the ingenuiTEA. Since the filter sometimes gets loose after use, it's a great deal at only $3.
My dog managed to get a hold of my infuser after I cleaned it. I had to buy a new one and it just poped right in with no problems.
Its a great way to make a cup of tea quickly!! Cleaning is a little tedius but its worth it.
After I ordered my first one, which eventually cracked, my second one has trouble with replacement filter screens fitting properly, I almost have to hammer the things down to get it to go in all the way and not float up when I add water.
This is the first negative review on a product so far I've given this company. The replacement infusers I ordered have trouble fitting into the tea container when you're steeping your tea. It took me several atempts to make it finally fit. the one that comes with the kit initially works great but the replacements are way too tight at first.
This little teapot is great! It's sturdy and small, and gets the job done. I use mine at school for the perfect little tea corner. It doesn't take up too much space and looks nice. Steep net is fantastic and works very well.
The best way ever to make tea at the office without making yourself into a complete geek. (like that is a bad thing) Also a good conversation starter. "What IS that?" I'm using it at least 4 times a day and it is still holding out well.
This is a must get. I wish every tea pot came with at least one replacement infuser.

After a while, my ingenuiTEA's filter was beginning to stain because of all the different teas I used in it, especially the fruity teas (Berry Blast, etc). My teas no longer have the slight aroma of blueberries :D
So far my original is holding out just fine, even after several months and LOTS of use) but it is nice to be able to replace it if something happens to it.

LOVE this thing. I usually like a larger cup of tea so the smaller one was not quite enough. I will eventually buy the larger one. I really like this because I dont create more garbage with tea bags or paper cups.
