It's amazing. Only problem is after a little less than a year it started leaking so much that it was just about unusable. Still -- I'm buying another because I can't imagine not having one.
Great idea, I use it everyday. However, I sometimes have trouble with the filter staying in place as I pour water in. That's pretty rare, though. It does fine in the dishwasher and keeps the tea hot while steeping.

I had an older version of this device at home and I wanted to upgrade to something a little more modern. This was perfect for loose leaf tea. The filter did not have an overly tight tolerance to the slot for it, which made for easy removal and cleaning. Really, a perfect product.
I'm not a hardcore tea fanatic, but there's hardly a week that goes by that my trusty ingenuiTEA pot doesn't get at least two to three uses. Wonderful gift for friends

How can this not have won a Nobel peace prize? I now own three of these. Only negative is the tabs at the bottom are fragile so be careful.
Really awesome idea. As a first time loose leaf tea drinker, it was very easy for me not having to worry about removing the leaves after seeping.
It's pretty well put together and doesn't leak out the bottom. (only had it for a few days and used it several times so I might write another review if it starts.)

Have had some trouble with it leaking and unfortunately had tossed the box. Appears I may need a filter but absolutely love how it brews tea so I hope this is a fix. If not, I'll buy another and this time, umm, read the instructions!?
This handy little teapot/infuser is simply the best. This size I keep at work to brew myself a perfect cup. I just now bought the bigger one to have a home so my hubby and I can both have a cup. It is easy to use and cleans up beautifully in the dishwasher. I have had no problems removing or reinstalling the filter. I find that it easily pops in or out for cleaning. I highly recommend this product!!
This is the best! I can't describe how much fun it is to make a cup of tea in the ingenuiTea. Pop some water in the microwave, pour it into the ingenuiTea with your favorite loose tea and get ready to relax. I love the built in filter in the bottom.
Have been using mine a couple of times now, and I'm loving it. Before I actually saw it, I was wondering if the valve mechanism would be reliable - when brewing two cups, I don't want to spill tea all over my counter top! But it works wonderfully - it doesn't spill even a single drop of the precious liquid.
It works really great, no matter if you want to infuse your tea for multiple times a day, or just once and throw out the leaves. I tend to try multiple infusions with green teas, and it's easier and more hygienic than with paper based filters: Drain the tea, drink it, and leave the leaves in the IngenuiTEA pot: They'll be ready for the next infusion.
To summarize: The IngenuiTEA is absolutely fantastic. I wish I had started using it a decade ago. (-:
The ingenuiTEA brews up to 14 oz. of your favorite tea. It is easy to use and can be entertaining to watch. Just select your favorite tea, place it in the tea brewer, add the appropriate amount of hot water and then wait and watch the tea leaves as they seem to dance magically in the hot steeping water. After several short minutes the fresh brewed tea is ready to enjoy. Just place the ingenuiTEA over your favorite tea cup and watch the flavorful liquid flow into your cup. Ahhh now relax and enjoy.

We love this teapot! IT has made vrewing tea so much easier and it has made our tea better too! It is so neat to watch the gunpowder tea unfurling in the ingenuiTEA and it is good to know that our tea has enough room to expand as it should.
Disappointed that the replacement filters I have to keep buying always come too small. Other than that, it works well.

Very easy to clean and use. Have been using for 3 times a day average. So far has stood up to multiple drops, and hasn't leaked. I have not discovered the function of the plastic/acrylic disk that came with it.
The ingenuiTEA is amazing! It's so easy to use I now drink tea 3 times a day. It is more than worth the cost and is excellent for company. If you love tea, you need this!

I saw one of these 'tea pots' at Max Brenner's in Union Square and immediately came home to figure out how it worked... Turns out it's become my best friend! It sit's patiently on my desk at work waiting for me to enjoy my favorite adagio blends. I don't think there could be an easier way to drink loose leaf teas!

This thing is awesome. Had it for only one week but I use it 3 times a day.
I love this tea steeper. I originally thought I'd be able to microwave it, but the new model has a metal mesh filter, so microwaving is out of the question. I just heat up water in my tea mug, then pour it into the ingenuiTea. It's big enough to make a nice big cup of tea. It's easy to clean, too.

what a wonderful invention. The best way I have used yet to brew loose tea. Lost the filter at some point, not sure how, but the replacement I got fit perfectly and I am a happy tea drinker once again!

This thing is great!! If this is to much work to make tea than you are not meant to drink tea! Cleans supper easy. Only negative is the plastic does pick up a little discoloration over time but just hand scrub and it remove most of it.
When you're using loose-leaf tea (and if you're shopping on this website, you are) there's no better tool that I know of for brewing your tea. I use this thing several times a day and absolutely love it.
