Wonderful contraption! I love that this one is made out of plastic because you can even put it in the microwave if you are in a hurry. Always produces wonderful tea.
I like it. It's easier and cleaner to use than an infuser. Cleanup so far seems to be a snap - just rinse out with hot water. It doesn't always seem like it's brewing since leaves tend to float to the top, but it works out.

Very easy to use and very handy. A full brewed container or this will make about three full cups of iced tea. But remember to wash frequently and take out the loose leaf teas after brewing because it will stain the container.

I really like this! It's my first time having loose-leaf tea and I had no idea how I was supposed to steep it, then my friend turned me onto the ingenuiTEA and suddenly I could make my own teas with minimum fuss! More than that, I can watch it change colors as it steeps - and the cleaning is super easy, too! This is the first thing I get for my tea-loving friends when I find out that they don't know how to prepare loose-leaf teas. Why should I have all the fun?

This infuser was demoed to my fiance and I during our in store tea tasting. It strained the tea leaved out really well, and the tea tasted great. I was so impressed I recently purchased one for myself as well as one for my sister!
I love this!!! I it is so nice to be able to have the tea steep correctly because the leaves have room to expand. I also like this model better with out having to take apart like the other one that was likes when the store 1st opened in Westfield Mall (Old Orchard).
I bought one through Amazon back when I first started into loose leaf teas. This is seriously the best thing ever. It fits over the lip of almost all our cups (we have some huge plastic tumblers that are too big, but I just push the bottom of the strainer with my fingers. No big deal). The mesh does get stained from tea after a while, but I've never had it carry over flavors from one tea to the next. I finally picked up a second one through Adagio since hubby and me have been taking turns with the first one so much - now we can both have a cup at the same time :D
An absolute favorite! The lid keeps the water hot while seeping and the bottom strainer is really convenient for dispensing. Clean up can be a bit tricky so I recommend disposing of tea leaves immediately and rinsing to minimize build up with an occasional deep scrubbing. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase and recommend it for all tea lovers.

This is great, I am ordering a second one for at work. The lid keeps everything hot while brewing, and the clever design strains perfectly. Cleanup is decent, really easy if you have a garbage disposal.
I wish it were made of glass.

I love, love, love this little tea maker. I will be gifting them! Adagio you have done it again!!! Do yourself a favor and purchase one of these! I honestly think this makes a better cup of tea because it lets the leaves open up completely and the aroma is intoxicatingly Devine!
I had a perfect teamaker from Teavana and it broke a year or two ago. That being said, I think I like the ingenuiTEA much better. The mesh filter seems a little finer and much larger. I had no issue cleaning it out.
I am using mine for my oolong teas so they have more than enough room to expand. I love watching the tea balls unfurls.
This makes my day easier. I french press coffee. Now this. I like being able to get up. get water going. Pour wait and get some things around the house down for a few minutes like dishes. It doesnt fit all cups I have. Not a problem though. I first worried maybe itd leak or something. No mess. Glad i bought these.

I love this brewer. I had been using a small french press, but this? This is amazing. I love setting the brewer atop the mug and watching the tea just stream down. Plus, it's easy to empty the spent leaves, since they're not compressed or compacted, like in the french press. Just flip the top and dump them out! A quick rinse, and it's ready to go again.
I love the ingenuiTEA. It is perfect for filtering loose leaf teas in a hurry and is super fun to watch as the tea is filtered into your cup of choice. I just wish it were a little easier to clean. Other than that, I was quite pleased with the product.
So, the first teapot a bought when starting up on tea was a real cheap thing. After I realized that it dribble and was a bear to clean, I decided to go ahead and invest in a proper teapot. I went ahead and bought this contraption. It's really brilliant. I was nervous that the water would start draining without being on top of a cup, but that doesn't seem to be an issue. It works smoothly. It's incredibly easy to clean. It's sturdy. And, yeah, I don't have to worry about dribbling with this one.
UPDATE: So I still love this gadget. But there is some dribbling after I've poured out the tea. I have to put it in a paper towel so it can dribble just a little afterward. This is annoying as I was hoping to get away from the whole messy tea business.
When I first got this, I thought it was the best thing in the world for brewing tea. It made it so easy and fun! But the fact that it's plastic is a little off putting. I know it's supposedly food safe, but the FDA declares lots of stuff safe that turn out not to be the case. So now I use this only for travel, b/c it's so easy, and for everyday brewing, I use a glass mason jar or a teapot. Here's a tip: I put in the amount of water for one cup and two cups and then mark the level on the outside with a marker.
Makes brewing tea so much easier. I'm so glad I got it.

I am new to loose tea brewing and this is perfect! It makes brewing so easy, the tea goes right into my cup and the leaves stay behind. I found it fairly easy to clean out and so simple to use that I am thinking of getting a second one to keep at work.
This is a very useful item to have. I just replaced mine after about 4 years. It is a bit of a pain to clean if you let it go too long.

I never want to use a bitty tea strainer again. I just whipped up my first cup of tea with the ingenuiTEA. I was a bit worried, as the water temp was 212, but there didn't seem to be any problems.
The process was simple, pleasant to watch, and the clean-up was insanely easy. I just popped it off my mug, rinsed it out, and set it off to the side to dry.
I tend to have guests over often, and it'll be super easy to make tea for everyone with this rather than playing strainer shuffle.

Makes a great cup of tea and so much easier to clean than my in-cup steeper. I would like to see a glass version of this and add measurement marks to the side so I know how much to fill it for my various cup sizes. I'll probably be buying another to keep at work. And possibly as gifts. I also wish it came with a tray because it does drip a little.
I don't know how I lived without this. I will definitely order some with tea for Christmas gifts.
This has really made things a lot easier at home. Quick to clean up, lots of room for the tea leaves to steep and I haven't had any problems with it. If it weren't so bulky, I'd probably use this when traveling, too.
