I use this all the time, this is easier than an in cup steeper and helps to keep leaves out of my tea.

I love my ingeniTEA! I can't imagine how I ever got by without it. Perfect for hot or iced tea, and the filter does not allow any tiny tea specks to pass through it.

A great, easy way to infuse your tea. I like the price, and the pop-out mesh makes it easy to clean.

The bottom piece with the rubber stopper broke immediately when I opened it. Unfortunately I never got a chance to use this product so I do not know ho well it works.

I have used Adiago teas for the last two years as their prices are reasonable, the shipping is fast, and they rarely run out of stock on my favorites.
I highly recommend the lavender teas, they are exceptional!

This is my go to way of brewing. It is easy to use and clean. I'm on my third one (one lasted 8 years and the other two are split between work and home).

Liked my first one SO much that I purchased one for work, so I can have fresh brew at the office, too.

Though it is not the most convenient way to brew tea, this filter is the best for flavor. Tea leaves settle in the bottom and are allowed to spread out as much as possible. If you have pearled or rolled tea, you get to watch it unfurl as it brews (at least, if your life is as interesting as mine is). And it's really easy to re-brew these leaves - just pour water in the filter again. The only downside is these things get really dirty. Soaking in vinegar helps get rid of buildup but I've never found a way to totally clean this whole thing.

I love this. I purchased a special loose tea from a friend and I tried to use it in my simple tea infuser and as soon as I put it in the water all the leaves came out. I didn't realize her tea was a lot finer ground then what I normally purchase from here. So I was on the hunt for something that would make using it and my other teas a lot easier and this is it! I wish I would have bought one soon! I have plans to purchase one for my mom as a gift. I love how easy it is to use and clean!!!

It does it's job. But I hate how all infusers I buy turn brown.

Love my little ingenuiTEA, if only it didn't leave that solitary droplet of tea on the counter after every cup. Much nicer to deal with than a tea egg though.

Update: Have been using this for three years now, still works great. Couldn't live without it.

I love my ingenuiTEA so, so much! I especially love that it's dishwasher safe.

This works for me. I have several different loose tea brewers/strainers and the ingenuitea is now my go to tea brewer.

I had only ever used teabags prior to buying from Adagio, so, after looking through reviews, I decided this would be an easy way to get started with loose tea. I love it so far. It's nice to be able to see the tea as it steeps. It would be helpful if there were markings on the plastic to indicate approximately how much to fill it for mugs of various sizes, but I've been able to work around that by using the text printed on the plastic as a guide - filling it up just to the top of the text usually gives me a full cup of tea in my favorite mug.

It's easy enough to rinse out, and washing it isn't hard, although it's not possible to take the whole thing apart, so there are areas I can't really reach when cleaning. The inside of the ingenuiTEA now smells slightly cinnamon-y, like my favorite teas, although this doesn't seem to be affecting the taste of anything I make with it. If that changes, I may downgrade my rating.

This is my new favorite kitchen gadget. I use mine multiple times each day. It is easy to clean and works perfectly! I think I may need another one to keep at work!

Love this. All the other little gewgaws used for loose tea leaks the tea in the water. This doesn't.

Really great addition to any tea set! Easy to use and clean, plus it's pretty to stare at.

This thing's pretty much the best thing I have ever bought ever. I keep it in my dorm room, and it makes things so much easier. I can get a great cup of tea in minutes, and everything's so self contained. I thought the plastic would be a lot more brittle, but i've unintentionally dropped it a few times, and it's never cracked. Easy to clean, and doesn't leave a taste.

A friend recommended this as a starter for me, and I am thrilled with it.

The compact nature of this product make it perfect for offices and apartments alike. It's easy to use and more importantly easy to clean in for example a break room sink. The plastic frame means you won't break it if you drop it, and the lid easily separates and re-attaches for cleaning. The only downside is that because you sit the unit physically on top of your cup, unless that cup is clear you end up having to guess how full it is to avoid over filling your cup.

I have been using this teapot for a number of years. It is so convenient and easy to use, it has spoiled me. Great product!

I mean, I don't know what to say other than everyone who drinks loose leaf tea needs one of these in their life. It's too convenient.

ingenuiTEA #1 for the 2nd Time!
I was one of those that didn't really understand how ingenuity worked, on the reviews, so I'll explain. It looks exactly like a Stein but for Tea. First, You put Leaf Tea in it, enough for a maximum of 2-6oz cups. Pour in water. Let it steep. Then you just set the ingenuiTEA on top of a cup, a mug, a small tea pot like I do and finally the contents just drain away into the receptacle of choice. The one i bought for me: I use everyday, REALLY! My sister caught me using it and immediately wanted one for her. So I bought it for her. Thus this review. Cleaning is absolutely easy. i have no idea what the other reviewer are talking about. The used up Tea leaves are on the bottom. Just put water in it. Swish it around and pour contents into a strainer, repeat if necessary. Feed contents to your favorite plant or toss them. Be aware that Fruit Flies seem to Love the used up leaves of Spiced Chai Tea flavors. But that's another story. Enjoy the ingenuiTEA. it's worth the money spent on this product!

Love the change from the removable plastic filter to the stainless. Feels more solid and doesn't stain with repeated use. Just ordered one for my mum.

Fits over my favorite tempered glass mugs that I received for graduation.

Simple, convenient, affordable, and easy to clean! I love to watch the tea steep, it almost reminds me of a lava lamp. The lid easily detaches and reattaches for cleaning. Simply rinse and dump the used tea leaves go into the garbage disposal or the compost pile, and begin to brew all over again! Had to buy one for work as well as home!

Amazing! No leaf particles in my tea a all. The only challenge is getting all of the leaves out of the mesh to clean it.

I bought one of these as a gift for my brother, a longtime tea drinker. At first he thought it was just a gadget, but when he tried it he was hooked. Great product!

This thing is possibly the coolest invention since the internet. I'm ordering 3 more so that I have one in every place i brew tea! I really recommend getting one if you drink a lot of tea especially when its fresh brewed.

If anyone only uses teabags because they don't have a way to make loose tea, I challenge you to continue that practice after using the ingenuiTEA. This things is great. Made of BPA free plastic, it is one of the simplest teapots I have ever used. Just put in the amount of loose tea you want, add water, steep, and decant from the bottom. No mess because it only comes out of a small hole in the bottom from a pressure plate. Place on top of your cup and you're done! I love this product!

This is an amazing invention! I don't have to worry about tea balls or infusers anymore. My only qualm is that if you leave the leaves in there too long the strainer looks dirty even after rinsing and washing it.

I admit I was a bit skeptical when I read all the great reviews on this. I thought it might be nice, but not great. I was so wrong! I LOVE my ingenuiTEA! In fact I want to get another one so that I can have one for either my daughter to use or for company that may want a different tea than I do. It is very easy to get the tea leaves out and to clean it. I recommend this very highly. Easy to use, easy to clean. What more could you want?

I'm so happy I got this, it works wonderfully for my loose leaf tea.

Great brewing system,makes two small cups or one larger mug. I wish I would have got a bigger size.

this is a really great product, the only problem im having, and this could be me just messing up somewhere, is when using to make for 2 people the first cup comes out darker and stronger than the second. ill take any suggestions on how to fix this please.
