I'm being totally serious here. I've fooled with infusers (convenient but a pain to clean when you drink tea constantly), tea bags (useful, but easy to spill and I go through like a bag a month), and even coffee filters when desperate (don't ask), but this is the best of them all. Don't get me wrong, I'll still use my teabags or infuser when portability is an issue, but this is such a good way to make tea. I've marked out a cup of water with a sharpie on the side so I don't even need to worry about eyeballing the amount, and it's the best strainer I've ever had for keeping out tea leaves. Not to mention it's really pretty to watch! This is seriously probably going to be the thing I use most every day, and for its price, it's a total steal.
Update, because it's relevant: I put this on the top of my car and drove away and it fell off and sat in a parking lot for an hour. barely a scratch on it. Points for durability, too.
Also, this thing is totally dishwasher safe and it's really easy to just dump your sugar in there with the tea and it all dissolves wonderfully. My one issue is that the mesh and the area between the mesh and the bottom stain, but that's more cosmetic than functional so like, I'm not going to complain, not for how useful it is.
I love the ingenuitea! I bought a lot of loose leaf teas and had to get something to brew it in. Its very easy to use. My tea mug is huge, so it doesn't sit on the top of it like it does on small mugs. I still make it work and just put one side on the edge of the mug so it will drain.
This is actually the third one of these I've ordered. And I cannot believe I haven't had one all this time. I love these.
I defy anyone to find an easier way to make a cup of tea using loose leaf tea. I've long been a tea drinker, but have generally used tea bags because it was always just easier than using loose leaf. That's no longer true. Using ingenuiTEA and loose leaf is just as easy using a ready made tea bag from the local grocery. Plus it has the benefit that comes with using loose leaf over any box of tea bags that comes off the grocery store shelf. It just taste better. Why didn't I order one of these things long ago?
What a wonderful piece of equipment! It makes every tea taste so much better than traditional infusers or teabags. The bottom valve works great, and it doesn't leak at all for me. It's so good I need to get another one, to have dedicated home and office units.
My husband bought this for me, and I bought this as a gift for a friend. It's a great way to enjoy quality teas.

Love this! I have a big mug that will hold just about 16 oz, and this tea maker is great for it - but it also easily makes two smaller cups to share.

How did I ever make tea without this? Seriously. Quick, convenient, wonderful tea. This makes loose leaf tea quick and easy to make and clean up! All you do is put your favorite loose leaf tea in the teapot, add hot water (for a standard cup I usually fill till just over the lettering. this could be an improvement if they added a measuring device to the side of the cup), let your tea steep for the allotted time for your tea and then simply set it onto of your cup and it drains right in leaf free! It fits onto most standard mugs, if it doesn't I just usually set it on there a little off center and it'll still drain. Love this thing!
I love this strainer and it works just as well as the teavana one. My only gripe, which is the same for all of these that I have seen, is that you can't buy new strainer parts to snap on the bottom. After you brew something with more pigment like a rooibos, it's impossible to get that stain out if it sits for any length of time. I'd love to have multiple strainers to use for different teas, since I am always a bit worried that a darker tea that has stained the strainer will change the flavor of a lighter tea.

I really love this set up. The way this is engineered, allows the tea leaves to float around in the tea. I think it helps the tea steep better. A fairly easy clean up, with the little work to get the nice flavored tea.
This has been pretty enjoyable to use so far but to be honest, for a single cup of tea, it's not that much better than the simple stainless steel tea infuser that fits inside my cup. I do like using this one though to watch the leaves steep, and I'm glad that it's really easy to dump the leaves and clean it out.

Love this. After comparing reviews of several other straining tea pots, I got this because it was the highest rated. I just rinse it after I'm done and it stays clean. An infuser pales in comparison!
This infuser is simple to use, easy to clean, and fun to use. I am new to loose tea and this infuser has made the transition easy.
My old ingenuiTEA busted (one of the little feet broke off) and as a result it would leak. So I bought a new one because I can't live without it! It's a must-have for my tea addiction.
I bought this as I was having issues steeping Rooibos. The smaller particulate was constantly getting through the tea ball I was using at the time. This makes steeping much easier as its a dedicated vessel and also has a very fine screen that prevents any particulate from finding its way into your mug. Highly recommended.
I've only had this about a month and it is working as advertised. The strainer seems to be secured well and hasn't popped out as I've seen in other reviews--at least so far.

This teapot is beyond awesome. I wasn't sure how this was going to be useful to me because I already have such a great system going with my infuser and travel mug. I read the reviews, especially the five star given by 'Monica N' and watch the video and thought why not and bought the 16oz.
Used it for the first time last night on a herbal tea I like to drink over ice. It was glorious. It was so easy and the mesh trainer at the bottom collected EVERYTHING.
My next concern was the clean up which turned out to be very easy as well. I didn't realize the lid was not removable so there was no sitting it upside down to dry out. I just left it open to air out which is probably for the best.
My advice, though, avoid the dishwasher. Stick with washing it by hand because my feeling is that dishwasher will eventually turn it cloudy.
Works amazing, and is very simple to use! I was having an issue with my favorite tea leaves coming out of the infusers I was using, but this strains the tea perfectly! Quick and easy to clean up too!

I had stopped using my tea ball because it seemed too small for the large cups of tea I was drinking. My friend showed me how to use her ingenuiTEA brewer and I loved it. You can either make a large cup of tea or brew it a little stronger for 2 cups and add extra hot water to them after brewing. Goes great with my electric teakettle.

This tea pot is fantastic. It is the perfect size for my more commonly used mugs! I love to watch the tea through the glass walls. The tea leaves are easy to clean out.

I absolutely LOVE my ingenuiTEA!! It is very cleverly designed and is a hit at my office. Not only is it easy to clean, but it also doesn't drip from the 'trap door'. I've found that I have started drinking even MORE tea, just so that I can use it!
