I bought this to replace my old grotty and wore out GROSCHE Aberdeen Tea Steeper ... may it rest in peace. The IngenuiTEA 2 is the perfect replacement. It’s very easy to clean and take apart. It does a great job of blocking any of them nasty rooibos, mate, and herbal bits and pieces from my cup. My SimpliciTEA Teapot doesn’t do a very good job of that. Thus, I’m very pleased with my IngenuiTEA 2 purchase!

I bought my first InginuiTEA approximately 10 years ago, and finally had to replace them. I like the upgrades to it, especially the replaceable filters - after so many cups of tea and tea leaves, keeping them looking clean is a challenge.
Works great, a good substitute for my old teavana one for sure, while also looking better on my counter. Doesn’t leave much liquid behind either!

This tea maker passed the ultimate test - it brews rooibos with no dregs! I only wish there were marks on the side so that you could tell how much water has been added for when you want to make less than 16 oz of tea.
Loved it so much, I had to buy two. Makes brewing loose leaf tea so much easier.
Works as well as the first version. I like the little trivet thing that it sits in to catch any drips (not that there are many).

I prefer this model over the original IngenuiTEA because the tabs at the bottom stick out from the base rather than go straight down. In other words, this fits better on top of an oversized mug. When I try to use the original model with my large mug, it wobbles on top of the mug and does not sit securely. I just wish this new model had the measurements on the side.
It gets the job done just fine. These vessels are great for loose leaf tea steeping and work well. I do prefer the design and the qty markings that the original version has, however. In the future I will order the original over this one.
I had an earlier version from 10 years ago. Finally had to replace it. This version is sleek and as convenient as the earlier models.
I had the original years ago, but it was lost at some point. Now with this one, I absolutely am in love. It fits well under my Kuerig for hot water, as well as having the saucer in case of drips is phenomenal!

I had a few similar but very old tea makers from another company but this one is amazing! I love how you can take it completely apart to clean and get debris unstuck!
So convenient! I love that it is microwave safe. What I did was measure 1 and 2 cups of water and put little sharpie marks on the outside.
I started with the Teavana version but mine broke so i needed a new one and decided to try this one and so far so good I enjoy it

I do like this IngenuiTea cup overall despite the fact that I burnt myself while handling it. When I used it the first time, I used a bigger mug than it should be and the IngenuiTea cup tipped over and the hot water spilled on my hand. It would be nice if there are at least some instructions on how big a mug I should use or if there is a safety lock on the IngenuiTea cup. Besides that it is a good cup overall.
FANTASTIC! I bought this to keep at work for when I am in the mood for tea. It is so easy to use and even easier to clean! It is microwave safe, too, which is a bonus! It makes enough for one 16oz cup of tea. I highly recommend!

Truly the best invention in tea making! The tea isn't crushed for a fuller flavor. The filter is removable for better cleaning (I soak them with denture cleaner) and replaceable if they get damaged. Also much less debris than any infuser I've ever used! I bought it originally because this is one of the few teapots that are dishwasher safe, and I'm so glad I did. I have one at work and two at home and we use them MANY times a day. Truly one of the best purchases I've ever made!!
I had a perfect tea maker from Teavana, and it lasted me about 5 years. This one is very similar, and seemingly a little better made. I think it will last quite a while, and it has everything that I could ask for. This is a must have.
This thing is great, just wish that there were markers on the sides for volume.
This is a neat way to make tea either by the cup or the pitcher (larger unit). The removable/replaceable filter is also a good enhancement.
Every part of this teapot can go in the dishwasher or microwave. Plus it comes with a drip pan. Highly recommended.
It does have one weak point, though: the hinge that holds on the lid. This almost inevitably breaks at some point, especially if you remove the lid to put the parts in the dishwasher. Even that's not necessarily a problem, as you can just place the lid on top afterward.
I have three of the IngenuiTEA 1 s, in two sizes. They all make brewing and cleaning so simple, so easy, so effortless. While the shape of this 2.0 unit, plate, and lid is more refined, I can t say it s a game-changer.
Works great I like it a lot more than the first one. The only problem I have with it is it doesn’t show how many cups on the side like the original one does
This is an amazing addition to my tea loving routine! Until now, I have preferred the ease of tea pyramids, but this makes loving loose tea so easy, I’m officially a convert.
I take the IngenuiTEA to work with me. I love that I can use it in the microwave to boil the water, then take it back to my desk to brew and dispense into my tumbler. No more pouring and spilling from a hot mug into my tumbler. The lid ensures that I will make it down the hall without spilling.

A worthy successor to the original. Much nicer overall design feels good to use. Do wish it maintained the measuring markers from the original. Still 5 stars though.
I used to have the IngenuiTEA 1, which unfortunately kicked the bucket. I decided to upgrade for the tray underneath this one, which eliminates stains on my countertop or using dishes/towels.
This is amazing! I love its shape, its lid is much studier (it hasn t come off once just in regular use), and it drains so fast! It s definitely an upgrade and I use it so often! (It also doesn t seem to stain as easily.)
