I’ve bought both the first ingenuitea and this one and this one is way better. It’s easier to clean and I find that it drips less than the other one. Both work perfectly fine but I definitely think this one is the better choice.

I love this! Makes loose leaf tea so much easier to brew and clean up after.

I like this! I think I prefer SimpliciTEA teapot just because it's easier to clean, but this one definitely wins for durability. And it's just fun!

Great product, makes brewing tea easy. the only downside that some tea smell might get stuck.

It is a great progression from the origina. Had to replace my old one as it started leaking

Wonderful upgrade to my old IngenuiTEA which was hopelessly stained from years and years of love, use, and abuse (but it still works so I'm keeping it around for emergencies). But I can proudly display this shiny, new beauty on my tea table, and I'm thrilled I will be able to change out the filter as needed.

Got this as a gift for my father in law. He absolutely loves it and uses it daily.

I ve now used the IngenuiTEA 2 teapot a half dozen times and have concluded that it s a keeper. I like it. I m still working developing an efficient method of cleaning the tea leaves out of the pot so as to not have leaves going down the sink drain. The strainer I have in the drain is too coarse to catch all the leaf particles, so I ve resorted to placing a paper towel over the strainer. I ll be shopping for a finer strainer for the sink drain.

It’s well made and useful and closest to my old teavana one!

I really love this little pot, and especially love that it is dishwasher and microwave safe (if I forget about a long-steeping tea, I can heat it up!). What I don t love, though, is the complete lack of instructions on how to use it, and also on how to disassemble it for cleaning. I managed with guesswork, but that s why this is a 4/5 for me. (Also, information about it being dishwasher/microwave safe should be *in the packaging* and not just on the website.)

I actually really love this thing. It makes it super easy to make a cup of tea when I am not near the kitchen to keep the infuser from leaking all over the place after, and the design where the tea gets filtered through the bottom is very smart.

This is my second one because I broke my first one after years of use.

In love. I lost my Teavana one in the middle of moving madness and it left my passion for tea behind for a little bit. Now that I have one of these in my hands again I’m happier than ever to be making my daily tea.

strains tea but it’s too small. i wicpsh they listed the sizes together rather than calling the large one for iced tea. the base is also too small and this constantly falls off

Don t hesitate to buy this. It makes it so easy to steep your tea.

Love this infuser. Easy to use, easy to clean. Appreciate the drip tray. The only downside is that there are no volume markings on the side, so I had to use a Sharpie to make my own.

Great product. A bit difficult to clean at times frankly, however it works awesome. Love it more than the old tea strainer I was using. Totally recommend it.

I originally got this to replace a french press I was getting tired of cleaning. It doesn't really do that - mostly due to its size, which only makes a cup at a time - but I think it makes a good addition. The filter does a really good job of keeping particulates out of both my mug and itself, making both the drinking and cleaning experiences much easier.

The biggest knock against this is the lack of level markings. On another review, Adagio posits that you can fill your mug with water and transfer it to the teapot to get the right amount. This sounds clever until you realize that mugs don't have spouts and spill boiling water all over your counter. Guess I'm just eyeballing it from here on out.

EDIT: There was some very noticeable clouding after I put the main body in the dishwasher the first time, so I don't recommend doing that. Just rinsing it out should be enough as long as the leaves haven't had time to sit.

This is awesome!! Super easy to use, pretty easy to clean, and not a single piece of tea gets into the cup. Perfect for 1-2 servings and perfect “on the go”. The whole thing microwaves which is very convenient. The only feature that could make it better is if they had volume measurements on the side, that would make it super convenient.

A great device for people just getting started. Works like a charm. Only reason I don't give this 5 stars is, it needs an easier way to get the steeped leaves out for clean up.

I had not bought the previous IngenuiTEA but out of the box everything was intact on this. I can't wait to try it.

The best gadget I ever got in my life. I use it all day everyday day. I love the fact that I can put it in microwave and dishwasher.

This is the perfect size for a couple cups of tea. Stays nice and hot.

It is too simple for words. Perfect for my office, toss in my favorite tea, add hot water and life is a wonderful thing.

It's my go to for tea making. I absolutely love it! At first I couldn't figure it out, but once I did, its easy!

I used to avoid loose leaf tea because of the extra hassle, but the IngenuiTEA 2 let me upgrade to loose leaf tea comfortably! Making tea is a breeze with this gadget. I have tried all sorts of infusers and this is by far my favorite tea making tool. The leaves are able to unfurl to their full shape and fine mesh ensures there's no bits and pieces in the tea after.

This infuser is truly amazing. i use it every day. it is a very clean and easy way to use loose leaf tea without the hassle of extra items to clean.

This is my third purchase. I enjoy the ease of use of this teapot.

Amazing tea maker, keeps tea tidy and can keep it at the ready to steep another cup!!!

This little guy here is awesome. So easy to use and clean! I would highly recommend it to anyone and I even plan to buy some as holiday gifts.

Only one complaint...if you happen to have a towel sitting on your counter and you put the IngenuiTEA on that instead of its handy dandy plastic disk you may have a critical user failure and brew tea all over the counter.

Works really well and I like it a lot better than my older model! I do wish the top would come off to make it fit in my dishwasher a bit easier, but it still gets washed nonetheless

It still does its job (which is awesome), but I think I like the original model better. I can't take the lid off of this one to wash and dry, which is problematic.

This tea maker is brilliant!!So easy to grow a pu-erh pearl in the pot and set on top of a cup for the tea.I then refill the pot for another 16oz of tea.

these are great for people just getting into tea and who don't drink a lot at once. i got one as a gift for a friend, and he loved it!

Got this to brew iced teas for my wife. She usually only wants a cups worth and this makes it much easier to cold brew the tea in this and then transfer it to the cup!

This holds the perfect amount for my larger mugs! I love how easy it is to just set this on top of my mug and drain. It's strangely satisfying. I haven't had any issues with leaks, but I do appreciate the small tray to catch any leaks. It's easy to clean and fits on almost all of my mugs!

I love this little device. So easy and convenient to use and filters the tea out smoothly!

This bad boy is FANTASTIC!!! I have used a number of different tea infusers and this one is by far the best I've come across. It filters the tea BEAUTIFULLY. Nary a bit of tea dust in my cup! And it is pretty simple to clean as well. I have recommended this to many of my friends who enjoy tea!

Love this, my daughter has one and I’ve been looking for two years. Now I have my own.

Works well. Really fine mesh doesn’t let any particles through. Plenty of room for leaves to expand, my main complaint would be how if something even slightly touches the bottom of it, the tea will come out. This is inconvenient at best and dangerous at worst (I’ve actually held the bottom and spilled hot tea on myself a couple of times). I guess the most important thing is to be extremely careful

This make tea brewing a total breeze and it great for teas that are good for multiple infusions as I can just keep using the same leaves all day.

This is my favorite tea cup. I buy it for family and friends as well.
