I got this when it went on sale. It filters really well and I like the size.
I ordered 2 and they work great!! We have a large filter tank in our fridge but this is nice for my tea station
The graviTEA pitcher is fantastic for customers with hard water. The softening effect lasts less than a month (2-3 weeks) for users on very hard water (well water) that use it only for making tea (or coffee). You benefit from soft water with a good taste, i.e., without the taste of the water from a standard (sodium chloride) water softener. And it stops the deposit of calcium on the water heating element.
Ive never used a filter pitcher before, so it took me a lot of figuring out as there are no real clear directions in the box, or even on the filter wrapper. I think it works fine so far, I tried it with my kettle and things work good. There is a slight difference in my tea at least. I think maybe If it came with better directions I would give it a higher rating.
Fantastic product. There was always a kind of metallic taste with water from my tap, but with this filter jug it annihilates that taste and gives me water that tastes like it came from a bottle instead of the tap. I mean it s not like it s Fiji or anything, but a great improvement over tap.
I loved this purifier until my husband threw it on the floor by accident and cracked it. I'll be
replacing it!
Update: This one, safe from my husband's hands, has lasted great! It refills so quickly.
If I were rating this pitcher exclusively on filtering efficacy, it would get five stars! Unfortunately, I've had two of these now, and both times the handle has cracked and then snapped off of the body of the pitcher with regular use from nothing other than the weight of the water below the fill tank. The other quibbles I have with it are smaller: the flap over the pour spout 'locks' and must be lifted pre-pour if you don't want water spraying awkwardly around either side, and the device in the lid for keeping track of uses does not seem to actually work.
I could get past those if the pitchers would stop cracking and exploding all over my kitchen when the handle inevitably snaps right off when it's full of water, but that one is sort of a dealbreaker. It's a shame, because it otherwise does its job very well, and the water quality is very good.
I decided to give this a try when I was looking for a replacement for my old Brita water filter pitcher, and I'm glad I did. This one holds less water, but filters so much faster than my old pitcher that it's much more convenient; if I've poured out all the water from my GraviTEA and need more, it only takes a few seconds to process it. Tastes great too!
This is the easiest water system I have used and i have tried many! The directions for setting up were clear and easy to follow. I noticed a difference in the flavor of my tea when I used the filtered water versus the many times when i had not! Think it is well worth the cost of this item towards making the perfect cup of tea.
So fast! I have a large capacity Pur water filter at home, but I may need to buy a second one of these for home. I don’t need the large capacity with a filter this fast.
Works as it should. The only thing is the digital timer never worked.

I have super hard water was using a regular Brita filter for my tea water. Normally, I'd get about two weeks after putting in a new filter before I had to descale my electric kettle with vinegar and then would have to do it once or twice a week thereafter until the filter is replaced. With this filter, I descale my kettle maybe once every 2-3 months (and that usually coincides with replacing this filter). I don't know how it works so much better, but it does. Highly recommend if you have hard water!
This is a very good filter pitcher. The opening on the lid is convenient, and it filters pretty quickly so I'm not just awkwardly standing around at the breakroom sink waiting for my pitcher to fill. My husband and I each have pitchers that we use at work. Mine is newer, but he has been using his for a few years and it is still working quite well for him. I also appreciate that Adagio offers free filter replacements occasionally with purchase.
When I initially received this product, the pitcher was cracked near where the handle attaches to it. Everything in the order was packaged well so I’m not sure what happened there, but I sent a picture to customer service and within 12 hours they sent out a replacement pitcher, so I very much appreciated that—5 stars for customer service!
The pitcher itself works well. It filters 16 oz of water in less than a minute, so I don’t even fill it until right before I make my tea. Makes for a great cup of tea. I only took a star away because I do think the plastic is probably a bit prone to cracking if you’re really washing it aggressively or something. But otherwise, I’m happy with the product.
I’m a water snob. Every 2 weeks or so, I go to my local Whole Foods and fill up several gallons (between 12 and 20) of deionized and reverse osmosis water that we use in a home water cooler. The deionized water is some of the most pure and delicious water I’ve tasted. I was using the reverse osmosis water for my tea brewing, so I was carrying 1 gallon containers of water to work (I go through 3-4 a week, more than half of which is tea). I got this GraviTEA so I can use my disgusting work tap water for my tea and not have to carry water back and forth. My experience with the GraviTEA has been awesome. It makes delicious tasting water out of gross tap water and filters very fast.
This pitcher is fantastic. Our water is very hard, which has a negative effect on the tea. Using water from this pitcher makes a lot of positive difference. I also use water from this pitcher for cooking and as just plain water to drink. Highly recommended.
It works well but the top is an issue to take on and off. This might need a little redesigning to be more user friendly.
I’ve had this pitcher for at least two or three years and it works well. The water moves quite quickly through the filter and it tastes clean and crisp. I filter all the water for my teas through this.
I live in West Virginia, and our tap water is extremely hard. It's gone through old coal mines, rocks, and mineral encrusted piping before reaching my house. It tastes awful, and leaves hard water deposits in my kettles after just one use. Bottled water is expensive and has a somewhat plastic taste to it, so that's not a good option, either.
This filter has been a life saver, It filters 16 ounces of tap water into crystal clear water that tastes wonderful in just a minute. I have used the water in my electric kettle several times and there is barely a trace of hard water stains. My tea tastes far better, and I might even use this for my normal drinking water. This product is perfect for anyone who has hard or disgusting tasting tap water! I recommend this to any tea drinker.
I love my new GraviTEA. I was tired of buying gallons of spring water in plastic containers to make the perfect tasting cup of tea. I've owned a Brita pitcher before and was very disappointed by how long it took to filter the water, so I was a little skeptical of buying this. But I decided to give it a try and am very happy with how fast it is at filtering water. It produces great tasting filtered water and though the price for the replacement filters is a little high, it's still cheaper than buying bottled water and better for the environment.
I really like the design of this product. It’s easy to dismantle for cleaning and the top fill is a great feature. The filters are inexpensive and long lasting. Great tasting water makes the best tea and keeps your kettle clean.

Love it! Filters fast! The water tastes great. We are using this for tea, coffee, and cooking waters. This is one of the best filtering of water I have had. Can't get the timer to work but doesn't effect the water.

Clear plastic helps see the liquid level for refill. The top fill lid is freaking awesome, only flaw is I clean is religiously because I worry about the plastic cover having contaminates. It also could be bigger, but I'm still happy, just bought two. The filter seems to work great, flavor and clarity are more than satisfactory.

I love this pitcher! The fill opening on top makes it so much easier to fill and to pour from. The speed is wonderful. No more having to wait while it finishes filtering so I can fill it up. I can easily have a full pitcher of filtered water in minutes. And it has really improved the taste of my teas!

Have purchased and use several of these. Does clear the water fast. If it slows to a trickle and is not time to change filter yet take out the filter cartridge and submerge in water and move back and forth several times. this is what you do before first using any new cartridge and it seems to work when newish cartridges slow down.
A great iced tea maker that fist on a refrigerator shelf easily. Best for 1-2 people or small batch tea making. Has been working well for many months now.
Not very well built mine only lasted about 5 weeks before it cracked and no longer usable.
I had read a lot of great reviews at Adagio's TeaChat.com before I made the purchase. Based on how well it is already working in eliminating limescale from my kettle I am a believer. Fills quickly and tastes great as well, no chlorine taste. Feel like I am drinking my teas again for the first time. I recommend ending the fill when it reaches 32 oz as the water left full in the tank will perfectly fill it the rest of the way to max/48oz. EDIT: The digital indicator finally went but it's easily fixed by popping it out from the lid, taking the cover off and replacing the two CR1220 batteries, (found at most stores), replacing the cover and attaching it back to the lid. Good as new.
I like this pitcher better than my current Britta filter.
I use this filter for keeping tea water available at my cubicle. I can fill it up once, wait 3-4 minutes, fill it up again, and walk back to my desk without spilling out of the pitcher and without bypassing the filter. I can also pour from the pitcher post-filter without pre-filter water spilling over! The water flaps work well and the timer, while dim, is working fine for now. I imaging the battery is on its way out and will need replaced soon (I've had it for ~30 days). Note: There was no 'battery separation tab' when I unboxed it, so I assume the battery has been in use since manufacture. I am happy I bought this filter instead of another brand as the size and features are perfect for my tea needs.
This product is awesome. It makes water perfect and adds value to the tea. The timer doesn't really work though.
