I like the filter a lot and the pot is easy to use. Only wish the glass were thicker cause I fear it will break.

Looking forward to getting this teapot! A couple of friends swear by it.

I've gotta say that I'm not so thrilled with this product. First, as others have mentioned, the lids are ridiculously fragile. If they fall off from any height they will break, period. I've already gone through two. Second, while the metal infuser is easy to clean, it gets really hot, so taking it out once the tea is brewed can be a bit painful. Finally, the spout design needs some work. It seems that at most pouring angle some of the tea will start running back down along the outside of hte spout, making a mess. You can work around this by tilting the teapot only a little, but this is a bit counter-intuitive and awkward.

I LOVE this teapot. The simple design is very elegant and its wonderful to watch the tea brew. My coworkers are hardcore coffee drinkers, but after watching my teapot work its magic, they were at my door holding their empty mugs wanting tea.

Same as other buyers, first thing to go dead was the lid, which I could now replace. The lid looks beautiful, but doesn't really fit to the teapot and is quite fragile.

Combined with the glass cup and saucer, it makes a beautiful and unique set.

This teapot was gorgeous, but unfortunately, after I received this in the mail it was cracked and I had to send it back. (The return was easy and Adagio was very helpful.) I did however keep the infuser which I now use in my own teapots (it fits them!) as well as some of my larger mugs. Overall, beautiful, but fragile...

This teapot is very nice. The tea look beautiful in it when made, and it makes about 4 cups which is nice when you are planning on more than one. The problem, as mentioned with other reviews is how fragile the lid is. I still love the teapot overall, but they should find a way to make the lid more secure.

The teapot is great, however the lid is far too fragile and falls off and breaks while pouring. Three out of three of us who purchased this item now have a teapot without a lid! (Molly, Claudia and me!) Marla D.

Really convenient and easy to use. I recommend pouring the pot half-ful before setting in the strainer with your tea, and then filling the rest of the way.

I enjoy this teapot. Infuser works OK, but would have preferred the mesh to the glass. Very pretty and sturdier than it looks.

I love my teapot! Great quality, gorgeous design, and elegant finish. The size is perfect for 4 people, specially if you use Japanese small cups.
I will definitely recommend it: it's beautiful to see the leaves floating in a clear diffuser or in the water surrounding it! Great for herbal teas as well as chinese chrysanthemum or other nice edible flowers.

My mother loved this teapot. She wanted it to show it off to all of the guests.

I really like this teapot. It is beautifully clear and shows off the tea well I think. It is what I am using at home where the IngenuiTEA wouldn't look nice for company.

Great tea pot. The slits at the bottom of the infuser lets through a few small pieces of tea leaves. Would have been nice to have it something like the mesh in the IngenuiTea pot. We use this for the office and makes 5 big cups.

beautifully made, sturdy, nicely shaped, 21oz is a good size, not too big to be elegant.

I had already purchased a Luna teapot from Adagio, but I decided to get this one as well because I wanted something bigger for when I wanted more. Its antiquated beauty while still being made of clear glass is very appealling.

I just purchased/received this teapot and I can't say enough good things about it. Beautiful to look at and brews tea beautifully. I was surprised to find out it held the tea hot for a while even without the warmer.

This teapot is very elegant. I love the no-drip spout. I wouldn't want to bang it against the sink accidentally, but I try to be very careful while handling it.

this is a great teapot. i gave one as a gift, i loved it so much, and my friend adored it. my senso and globo are still my absolute faves, but this one ranks high.

I should have bought this teapot sooner! Easy to clean and looks beautiful on my kitchen counter, with or without tea brewing in it.

The Mikado has a graceful shape and pours very nicely. I use it when I brew a bloom tea. The Herbals look very nice in it too. Nice handle and spout.

This is a beautiful teapot. It's fun to watch the tea infuse since the pot is crystal-clear.

So very beautiful, classy and elegant looking yet very sturdy, strong and dependable. I am using it for special occasions only though since I may not be able to get a replacement for long. I bought an extra infuser to be on the safe side.

Beautiful and quite functional but fragile.
I thought I was going to be the one to break it but my wife beat me to it. SHe was pouring out the last cup and the lid came loose and struck the end of the spout and it cracked very easily.
We paid for it on an American Express Card so is it under warranty? We really liked it!

I love this teapot. In fact, I love all of Jenaer's glass teaware. It is just beautiful and watching the tea steep really adds to the enjoyment of the tea.

A beautiful piece of glassware. I also bought the warmer, and with the candle-light glowing through the amber of the tea, this was the centerpiece for my Christmas brunch. The spout of the pot, so delicate-looking, poured the tea without spilling a drop.

I love this! I can use the infuser to make a cup of tea by just using the infuser and lid in a mug. It's a beautiful and functional addition to my kitchen.

Love it and glad I purchased one before they all disappear. I alternate this with the petit teapot depending on how much tea I am drinking or serving. I also have the tea warmer that goes with this and it makes a beautiful set. The glass tea filter works perfectly and I love watching the tea leaves unfurl.

Beautiful! This teapot is one that my cousin had picked up in Japan. Surprisingly, it does a great job of keeping the tea at temperature.

This teapot is outstanding. This company, however, has terrible shipping policies. If you want one in a hurry, order off Amazon.com. It's the same price.

This is a beautiful tea pot, and I am so glad that I ordered it. It's lovely, and I use it with the warmer, which lights up the tea pot and makes just the most lovely glow.

This teapot was awesome until the spout broke. Its a little to delicate for me use.

A friend puchased one for me and I in turn purchased one for a friend I loved it so much! It makes the tea experience more than just another 'cup 'o joe'. Highly reccomened the tea warmer too. But I'm wondering how Adagio can replace it when Jenaer is no longer producing.

I love this teapot. It seems so delicate and fragile yet has stood up to some intense use so far. Also, it simply does not drip and i am a lousy pourer.

After cracking more glass pitchers making iced tea than I'll admit, I finally switched my tactics. This teapot is awesome for steeping iced tea. I can easily remove the leaves to prevent oversteeping and allow the tea to cool BEFORE pouring into my pitcher. I may never crack another pitcher again!

This teapot is nifty. I love the way it looks sitting on the table brewing away. Of course the tea in it is becoming oversteaped while I use it as a centerpiece. Best used with white or green teas as they can steap longer.

Yeah, I always break these things...but it rocks so I continue to replace them. I love the glass tea kettle. It's perfect!

Very beautiful! Seems so fragile but is extremely strong. Got the tea warmer to go along with it, and its absolutely beautiful sitting on the table after dinner. Only concerns were with the infuser...let through some of the finer teas. Great otherwise!

...Am very happy with my purchase of this 42 oz. glass teapot...though it appears delicate at initial glance, the teapot is sturdy with an ample handle which stays nice and cool during brewing...the glass strainer/infuser is easy to clean. It's great to watch the tea brew...to see the gradual changes in color. This German made teapot provides a nice tea brewing experience;) Eva G. from FL

Love it, bought it with the warmer and it looks great and works great. Definately lends a little class to the act of serving tea. It lets a little more debris through the infuser than the IngenuiTEA does, but not by much.

Love everything about this teapot! Reason No.1: it's beautiful, unique, a work of art! Can't stop looking at it. No. 2: Glass teapot makes it easy to know when the tea is ready, when to refill, etc... I happened to have some friends over for dinner the day I got the package. Used it right then and there. I got the warmer also. It kept the teapot warm very well. Both of them were the center of attention.
p.s. I've shopped around at shops and other websites for the set, I've found that Adagio's price is the best.

Such a delicately beautiful piece! It is the perfenct size for a group of four to have tea with. Easy to use and clean. I would upgrade to the Mikado Gold.
