Classic, beautiful and functional. Pours well, I'm clumsy. Surprisingly light, yet feels strong and sturdy. Makes plenty of tea to share with a group or to sit and OD on some

Mthing yummy alone! Gorgeous teapot
This is the perfect size for 4 cups which for me 2 mugs of tea.
As others have said, the thickness of the glass feels slight. Still, I feel fancy when using this pot. I don't have anything else against which to compare it, so I am satisfied.
This teapot does look great, but feels quite fragile. The first one I had broke my first time using it, but Adagio replaced it with no hassle. Just always take off the lid when pouring (to prevent the lid from falling off) and handle with care.
a little fragile. Lid broke pretty easily. But I love the size and strainer!
I love my teapot. I use it every day, and on those days when I feel like having iced tea, I make my tea in the morning and let it sit until lunch time. Perfect size for my oversized iced tea glass!! And for hot tea, I fill it just enough to get 4 mugs of tea for me and my family. I love the design and the simplicity of it.
A generally good tea pot with a nice design. Tea brewing in the pot always looks pleasant. The only problem is that it is very delicate, so if you tend to be a klutz like me, maybe go for something sturdier.
Works great, just don't forget to let the metal cool before you remove it! :)
Beautiful and functional. This is my second as my mother absconded with the first one!
Good teapot, quite big and the infuser works well.
I love my large tea pot. Handle with care and it will serve you well.
Absolutely love this teapot. I have the glass warmer I got as a gift and seeing the color of the tea and the warm glow from the candle really adds to the tea drinking experience. The infuser it comes with is much nicer than the one that comes with the ceramic teapots, and the spout is also really nice. it pours with ease and doesn't drip. The lid did break from falling, but thankfully Adagio sells replacements!
It works perfectly, incredibly efficient and all around a nice product. BE CAREFUL WITH THE LID!!
broke within a few days of giving as a gift. Very disappointed
i had this teapot for almost 3 years before the spout broke. the one major design quirk is that the lid falls off if it is pouring the last cup. a small flange on the bottom lip would help, but for the meantime-hold the lid when pouring more than one cuppa
Pot is FRAGILE and the lid MUST be held when pouring. We found this out the hard way day 1 when my son was pouring himself some tea and didn't hold the lid. It fell out and tapped the spout, breaking it. I filed/sanded the sharp edges off the spout and we continue to use it...but I just managed to drop the lid again while pouring and I'm surprised it didn't break.
This holds a good amount of tea (up to 5 cups), and I like being able to see what's inside. The only problem is that it is not very thick glass and breaks easily.
I loved the look but the first time I used it the lid fell forward and broke off the spout. Looks like the spout problem is a recurrent theme. I wish I had read to reviews before it happened to me. I don't recommend this design.
Teapot didn't last long, spout came off when gently tapped on mug. Continue to use infuser in other teapots.
The 42 ozs glass teapot I purchased in Sep 2015 is fantastic. The previous tea pot I had did not have a spout like this one has. It makes pouring an ease without spilling the tea everywhere. Also the large handle make poring much easier for me with my extra large hands. Overall, this is by far the BEST tea pot I've ever had. Should I ever need to purchase another tea pot it will be this one for sure.
The best glass pot out there. I am glad that you offer the cover only, as we were able to replace it without having to pay for an entire tea pot.
As excellent as the petite in terms of staying hot but ideal for serving a group. Am slightly worried about the weight on the handle when full. But that's easily solved with a hand and tea cosy holding the bottom.
I've had this teapot for 2 months now with no issue. At first I was overly careful with it I think because of how thin and fragile it feels, but it holds up very well to near-daily use. Beautiful shape and great no-drip spout, it's been very enjoyable to watch my tea as it brews. So happy that I am considering buying the smaller pot :)
This is my second teapot. I'm reminding myself to be careful while handling. A somewhat fragile item. The last one I barely tapped the spout and it snapped off. But I like the size and the clear view of the tea!
It was beautiful, dainty and I could see when the tea was the desired darkness. It was the first tea pot that the spout broke off and with barely a tap. Sorry to see it leave so quickly.
Very pretty and perfect for blooming teas. The glass is thick and well made
My mom broke her first one and loved it so much I'm sending her another.
The lid of this pot is extremely fragile. It shattered on the second day I had the pot. I barely sat it down on the counter and it just disintegrated.
This is a nice teapot. My only complaint is that it feels a little too fragile.
I gave this to a friend as a gift and when it was unwrapped the handle was cracked. That was a real disappointment, even more so since it is past the 30 days and I have no way to return it.
Its a good looking teapot with a good size. We got this for the office and it should work perfectly. The fine mesh filter does a good job with even small teas like Rooibos. Easy to clean and not completely fragile if you're careful with it.
Oh my GOSH, this is a lovely teapot! The spout is tapered off really delicately at the tip, so it makes pouring really precise and with super minimal spillage. Fine-mesh filter and great handle size.
LOVE this teapot! It's my daily green tea pot :)
Works wonderfully for multiple cups of tea. Very attractive when displayed before guests.
This teapot is amazing, I was super impressed when I first used it. It pours so cleanly with little tilting, I love it! This is my new go to teapot, that's for sure!!
I had to reorder the top to my glass teapot because after years and years of banging on it, the old one finally cracked. This is my favorite teapot ever! I love the glass even though you have to be delicate with it. I do wish the neck of the teapot was wider so I could clean it easier and that the glass was a little thicker, but I suppose this is why this teapot is so magical- it certainly makes tea-time a sensitive affair.
I have gotten so much enjoyment out of using this teapot! The glass allows you to see the strength of the tea as it brews. Its also very elegant.
I love the way the teapot shows off what you're brewing up. It pours beautifully as well. The problem is how fragile it is - the lid doesn't have any way of locking in while you pour and my lid broke the first day I got it. The slightest of taps against your mug and I'm guessing you'll be picking up shards of glass.
Also, due to its thin glass, the teapot itself gets very hot very quickly, and isn't great at insulating, so your tea loses heat pretty quickly.
I wouldn't say I regret the purchase, but ask me in a few weeks if it's still in one piece!
Besides the terror of shattering it, this is the perfect teapot for teatimes... I mean curriculum meetings.
we love our new teapot it makes making our tea alot better
large enough for my wife and i to have a few cups of tea on the porch while reading the sunday paper. Not confident it will survive the dishwasher
I purchased this for my girlfriend. We read reviews about it being fragile and prone to breakage. But, while we have owned it, we haven't had any problems. While the glass is thin, it doesn't feel too fragile. The infuser works very well, and the pot is very easy to clean and rinse out. We're really enjoying it.
Great teapot, but only while it was usable. It lasted about two months before the handle broke off. Lucky it snapped while I was scrubbing it and not while it was filled with scalding liquid. I decided to use it for a bit longer with gloves while a new pot came, only for the spout to break a few days afterward. If you absolutely have to have it, a warranty is absolutely a must.
I haven't actually used the teapot yet but I do like the look. I feel this was a good purchase for me.
Very easy to use. Makes a perfect pot of tea each time.
Beautiful to see it infusing. It's true the metal infuser gets hot immersed in (near) boiling water, but did you really expect any different? I've not had an issue with the top falling and cracking when pouring either. There's no rubber stopper or any way to really secure it other than to hold it when you pour. But, again, hold it in place and you're peachy.
Over all, 9/10 would recommend.
Love this tea pot. Great to watch tea brewing and keeps the tea warm for quite a while. Stronger than it looks, too.
Nice large size to make a pot for sharing with company. Be careful with the lid - although you can get a replacement in theory, they are almost never in stock.
Update - got a replacement lid (finally!) and am super happy to be using this teapot again.
The perfect size for two people. Make sure that you keep your hand on the lid when you pour. I neglected to do this and I had to buy a new lid when it fell off and broke.
This is a beautiful tea pot in addition to being quite functional. Easy to use and clean, and it holds a good amount of tea.
