Ok yes it is a little thin in terms of the glass thickness. But that doesn't matter to me much. I don't see how you can break this without being severely harsh with it. The infuser combo is great and overall it works better than everything else.
An ideal 'have tea anywhere' set that combines a glass cup with a removable stainless steel infuser. Perfect for home or office use. Dishwasher safe.

I really like this glass mug and infuser. The first mistake that I made though was filling it up with water, it is more than a 'cup' when you do this, even with the infuser in, so I had to add in more tea so it was strong enough. You do not see the tea leaves 'dance' however, the silver infuser is in the way so there is no way to see inside. The infuser has lots of very small holes, so you don't have to worry about very fine particles or tea passing through at all. I would recommend this mug set.
I was a little worried about the glass being thin based on the other reviews, but that hasn't been a concern for me at all. The infuser is also pretty much perfect- my only complaint would be that it can be a little hard to remove the glass top and infuser after steeping because it's so hot, but overall I would definitely recommend this.
Not quite what I was expecting, I was thinking it was going to be some heavy glass but it turned out to be pretty lite. Been using it everyday and I love it.
Best mug and infuser I have seen. The infuser is big enough to let the leaves move around freely, and the holes are small enough that the tea doesn't sneak through... except for a little bit of the really fine dust particles. I like it.
I love how lite weight this mug is, I also love that the infuser cuts back on the leaves that like to sneak into my cup when I am not looking. It is a simple mug but oddly charming.
Nice to have an extra one. Would prefer drainage holes in the base too.
Looks fragile, absolutely is not. The clear mug is a great way to show off the color while the infuser keeps the leave apart.
The handle is a little small, making it sometimes hard to carry the mug while it's still hot, but the infuser caught all but a few tiny bits of rooibos, and the tea was delicious. The perfect mug for someone who might not have room for both a boiling and a brewing kettle.
This mug is a great size, not expensive, and is now one of my favorite mugs! :D
Works great when I don't have time for a whole pot of tea!
Perfect for a single cup of tea. The glass is high quality
Very simple and beautiful. Was smaller than I expected but still a decent size for tea. Glass does seem very delicate, especially the handle and lid. I'm almost afraid to leave in sink with other dishes, so take precaution. The handle does get a little slippery and you could sometimes scald yourself.
Very good product. Use it at work. The glass is thin, but it hasnt been a problem so far. I just have to be careful with it. The filter is not the easiest thing to clean out, but only takes me 60 seconds max. Very convenient!
I just started to use this today, and I am hooked! I was worried becuase other reviewers said that the glass was too thin or got too hot, but it feels substantial (although light- I will be careful with it) and the handle didn't get hot at all. Also, for the people who had trouble with liqid being trapped in the bottom of the strainer, if you just tilt it a bit as you take it out, no liquid gets left behind. I like that the lid doubles as a place to rest the strainer for a second infusion. For a single mug of tea without the fuss of a tea pot, this is the way to go. I also like that the strainer allows the tea leaves room to expand, becuase I always feel like they get cramped in the paper tea bags I sometimes use for a single cup.
Works as desired, it's a good size and perfect for simplifying brewing and drinking tea while in the office
I love this. So useful, easy to clean, and allows the tea to fully spread out and do its thing. Plus, the glass cup shows off the beautiful colors of tea and herbals.
I like this mug quite a bit-- the ONLY thing I do not like is that the glass feels like a very thin glass and easily breakable. HOWEVER, I have yet to break it so I may just be paranoid. I really like how you can watch the water change in color and for making a glass it is fantastic how much space in the infuser the leaves get to spread out.
I really love that this mug is clear and that the infuser's holes are small enough to keep rooibos leaves from coming out. I love that the lid is the perfect size to rest the infuser on after steeping. I think the mug is a great size, and the infuser allows plenty of room for the tea leaves. It can be hard to clean leaves out of the infuser, as they frequently get stuck in the tiny holes. Also, there seems to be a gold ring around the very top of my mug that appeared after I used it a few times. IDK if it's because I haven't cleaned it well enough, but it kind of ruins the flawless clear look of the mug. I am afraid to put it in the dishwasher because the glass seems very delicate.
Awesome item! It's so helpful, and the infuser can easily be plopped in other cups.
I broke mine last year, and I have to buy it again inmediately. I cant live whitout it.
Perfect for both at home and on the go. Keeps tea warm for far longer than most tumblers I own.
Bought for a friend who was new to infusing. She said it was easy to use and worked wonderfully for her. I call it a starter infuser!
Convenient way to enjoy tea at work. Easy to use, easy to clean. Only wish the mug was a bit thicker.
This is the second mug and infuser set I bought for work. Great product!
This is the perfect simple tea steeper for one. Easy to use, easy to clean. Love it!
I like the ingenuiTea mug better.
I will use this glass mug and infuser for
work.
This is the first purchase I've made with Adagio that I am not thrilled with. The handle seems very week, as if it could break at any moment. And if I leave the infuser in, it leads to some minor spillage. I recommend the ingenuiTEA over this product.
it makes the perfect cup of tea the infuser is a little bif of a pain to clean
Best for making one cup i have ever used. I enjoy watching the tea steep. Easy to remove the infuser and easy to clean the stainless steel. I wish the glass cup was a bit thicker.
I love this combo mug and infuser. I live and die by it.
Use these on a daily basis. My first infuser broke after probably 6 months of frequent use (the top 'lip' portion came apart from the bottom part)
Easy to make a quick single cup of tea. Wish it was a little bit larger and that the metal basket was a little easier to remove.
I love all the glasses and infusers from Adagio...yes you have to be careful with them, but I think enjoying a good cup of tea requires some grace :)
A great cup! I like that you can store the tea strainer and cup together, takes up much less room that way.
Like the ingenuiTEA much better. This one was too fragile.
Compact, convenient, and awesome. The glass is pleasantly thin without seeming brittle. The infuser is great and has tons of space for the tea leaves to happily spread their wings.
The mug is fine, though I see no need for a lid. I don't care for the infuser. It's larger than necessary. It has no handle, which means touching hot metal when removing it from the mug. It has no holes in the bottom, which somehow makes cleaning it awkward. I do like the fact that it contains no plastic, but I'm switching back to the Finum 'brewing basket' anyway.
perfect for workplace tea time. worth it for the mug alone. the 14oz capacity is perfect... 4oz more would make it way perfect.
this is the perfect answer for a single cup of tea.
I love this mug sleek, crystal clear, and very light. It may seem ultra delicate with the thin glass and light weight, but mine has taking a tumble twice from about 3 feet on to laminate flooring. Now that may not seem like a great feat of strength it just shows it's not as delicate as it looks and feels.
The infuser is nice. It has a very fine mesh and feels high quality. Be careful removing it from the mug after brewing it gets just as hot as the water.
I recommend heating the water first then poring it in the mug with the infuser. There is a chance of overflow if you try and dunk the infuser into a mug full of water.
Been using this for several months now and it has been great. Works flawlessly for my daily single cups of tea.
Thin glass, but great infuser. The mesh of the metal is fine enough for rooibos tea. Definitely a good gift.
I use this everyday at the office. The ingenuiTEA doesn't exactly fit in my bag. The glass is a little thin but I have had the same mug for about 2 years now without incidence. The lid works perfectly to catch all of the drips.
A good mug and infuser for the office. Easier to clean than the IngenuiTEA.
The mug and lid are much sturdier than I was expecting. Have held up well in the dishwasher and through regular use. The infuser of course fits in other mugs also so it gets used more than the glass mug. Overall very happy with the purchase.
I am an age old coffee drinker and now am trying my luck at tea. I really love this thing. I just ordered 2 more for friends I know would enjoy the convenience of this cup. I throw it in the microwave, pull out and steep my tea, put the tea in cups, dump the remains into the composter and rinse the infuser cup out. That is as easy as it gets.
Perfect for a single cup of tea. The mesh is fine enough that even smaller leaves such as rooibos will not leak out.
Nothing like this infuser on the market. No residue on the bottom of my cup. Works great. Will use no other infuser but this one.
So easy to use and clean up, I bought a second for a backup.
